Your Energy Field and Flow

by Donna May -

We are alive because life force energy circulates around and through all living things. We live and breathe in a vast ocean of invisible energy.

This unseen energy that supplies life has many names. For some, it is chi or ki. To others, it is prana, mana, light, source energy, divine energy, odic force, bio cosmic energy, biofield, universal energy field or universal life force energy.

Some of the terms sound very scientific, while others terms denote our connection to Spirit, Source or the Divine.

It may seem mysterious or mystical to speak of an invisible all-pervading energy and yet, we can't see radio waves or microwaves, sound waves or gravity but we experience their effects and measure their results.

CORRELATIONS

A magnetometer can measure the electromagnetic field of the earth, electric wires and the human body. Kirlian photography can capture on film a picture of the energy field or aura that surrounds the physical body.

Acclaimed scientist, lecturer and professor, Dr. Valerie V. Hunt has scientifically verified the human energy field or the human aura which surrounds the entire human body.

Dr. Hunt has found that:
"The energy fields correlate directly with pain, emotional and physical experiences and conditions of health and that these frequency variations can be measured and graphically displayed."

ALL CONNECTED

The human energy field extends around the body and gets finer as it blends into the vast Universal Energy Field.

At this level, we are all connected. Where one individual's energy ends and another begins might be difficult to discern. The energy becomes more concentrated closer to the body.

ENERGY CENTERS

It appears that the energy of the Universe penetrates the body and is circulated through energy centers or chakras through pathways or meridians that control the energy and direct it to certain areas of the body.

This life force energy flows through the body providing sustenance to every cell, tissue and organ in the body.

The body requires a free flow of this life-giving energy. Sometimes however, blocks in the flow occur. Over time the various parts of the body are affected by this disruption and dis-ease is the result.

The word disease means 'lack of ease.' The life force energy is not flowing in an easy free flowing way so the tissues fail to thrive.

THERAPIES

Complementary, integrative therapies such as Chiropractic, Reiki, acupuncture, reflexology, polarity, Therapeutic Touch, Yuen Method and others restore balance to the body by promoting a free flow of the energy as blocked energy is released.

The body can then function properly as it was intended.

All therapies including traditional western medicine treatments are attempting to realign the body so that the body can heal itself.

THE ENERGY FLOW

It is believed that stress and uncomfortable thoughts and feelings cause a disruption in the energy flow. When we are experiencing emotions and feelings that feel good, we are allowing the free flow of energy.

Our uncomfortable emotions are signals that we need to change our focus or our behavior so we can again connect with our natural state ranging from peace to ecstasy.

This range permits a free flow of the energy. Health is often the result.

SPIRITUAL ENERGY

Some believe that this universal, life force energy is spiritual and the soul is a part of this vast ocean of spiritual energy.
"Spirituality is an indestructible and unchangeable essence pervading all space, the particles of which are souls." --Alfred W. Lawson
REALIGNMENT

Our job in creating the health of the body, is to align our thinking with our soul or as Gary Zukav says in Seat of the Soul, align the personality with the "authentic self."

The soul is always pure. It is the ego or false personality self that experiences uncomfortable thoughts and emotions.

These patterns need to be observed, felt and released so we can experience the realignment with the spiritual part of us.

Being spiritual means connecting with qualities of kindness, forgiveness, compassion and love.

ESSENCE OF LOVE

Some call this spiritual essence the energy of love. Each soul is an essence of love. That is the true nature of the individual soul.

We are most connected to our source energy when we are feeling love, inspiration, joy and appreciation.

"The day will come when, after harnessing space, the winds, the tides and gravitation, we shall harness for god the energies of love... And on that day, for the second time in the history of the world, we shall have discovered fire!" --Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Setting Yourself Free

by Guy Finley -

A Great Truth about Setting Yourself Free:

It is in our wanting "more" than the moment gives us to be that we not only sow the seeds of our own discontent but, for this same self-inflicted darkness, find ourselves blinded to a great truth that can help set us free: everything we need to succeed at being all that the Divine would have us be is already a presence in our soul.

Letting Go into the Flow of Real Life

Occasionally, for all of us, we accidentally enter into the Now. We could be skiing, skating, doing yoga, playing golf, and suddenly we are in something that our activity aligns us with... we are in the flow of that moment.

We can even be in the flow of a conversation, and in that moment we are aware of something sustaining us. Physically we enter into the Now because that flow is part of the Now.

Emotionally we can enter accidentally into the Now when we look out and see the sun breaking through the clouds or we catch the evening light as it shades trees differently. Intellectually, from time to time, we enter into the Now when we have an insight and an epiphany comes.

We're walking along and suddenly we have the feeling of understanding that came to us because at that moment everything integrated.

Living Now

This Now, the real Now -- not the intellectual or the imagined one -- is a perfect integration. It is a dynamic mutual convergence of all the creative forces, and it is always stirring. At a certain point, if we've touched it at all or it has touched us, we want to begin to no longer have all this activity accidentally.

We want to be able to live like that and know that kind of love, know that kind of insight. We want to be someone who is in the flow, and because of that is in direct relationship with everything else that is in the flow.

When Reality itself is your guide, your backbone, how can you go wrong? That convergence uses everything for itself. So the key is to move from this accidental divine discontent.

The more these moments touch us when we see something that we didn't bring to ourselves but that we were visited by, the more we think to ourselves, "Who wants to drink Ripple when you can have a fine Chardonnay?"

We want the nourishment of divine sustenance. We want to move from an accidental relationship with this Life to a deliberate one, which is what the idea of living Now is all about.

Our Interior World

We are in that nature, this Truth, this Now, in the present moment. It is perfect connectivity, right now. That's the flow. We don't know we are in it because the nature we live from is apart from it, even though it is the source of life that sustains the thought nature itself.

We live from a part of ourselves that by its intensity and by its proclivity -- and by the power that it has at present due to the condition of the world -- prohibits us from being in relationship with the Now, with being free to relate, express, or participate in a world that is greater than the little world of thought.

What is extraordinary is that this higher world is more complete. It is more compassionate. It does not have stress and strain in it. It is a world in which, unseen, we live in; it is our interior world.

The Path

This interior life that we are supposed to have access to and live within is ostensibly kept from us because of this nature that we live from that wants to know what it is, what it's to do, how it's to do it -- at all costs, all the time -- and so we miss the truth that what we are from moment to moment is what determines our experience of the moment we are in.

When we begin to understand that, the moments themselves become beautiful reflections, expressions of ourselves to ourselves. We learn to be present to ourselves. That is what the path is.

We want the path to lead to a proven place. Maybe I think the path is to become an enlightened man or that I'm going to get all the money in the world that I want. Each person has different ideas about what the path leads to. That path doesn't lead to anything because it doesn't go anywhere.

What is eternal doesn't go anywhere -- it just is.

Our task is not to go someplace. It is to discover inside of ourselves a new order of being.

That is where letting go comes in. Little by little we recognize that it is possible for us, instead of always trying to confirm ourselves by life and going through that process where we're always trying to figure out who we are, to begin to surrender ourselves to the action of this Light that lives inside of us that by our relationship with it through understanding, we are part of it, and it is good.

A New BEing

This goodness is the idea of "let the journey be the destination." Then I'm not going anywhere; I've discovered a new being. I've invited it into my life. I've become receptive, to whatever degree I'm capable of... Working in this way to learn, to let go, and to live in the Now, we cannot fail in our wish for God's life!

How to Align with Your Higher Self and Purpose

by Leslee J Klinsky -

Many people today are running blindly, haphazardly seeking their elusive higher Self and purpose with frustration levels that border on insanity. They are disconnected from life, people or their callings but do not know what to do about it.

Feeling lost and under the gun, they change directions repeatedly without thought or pondering possible repercussions.

With this in mind, the intent of this article is to provide a method to help one align with the higher Self and to recognize this connection when achieved. Once aligned, purpose becomes clear and life becomes easier.

Alignment with the higher Self feels different for each individual but the result is the same; you feel great.

You know you are fully aligned when your heart feels open and your body feels as wonderful as it can. You may not feel your body at all or like a gently floating balloon.

There may be a sense of well-being and connectedness in your body plus a spark of creation. Or you may feel sudden passion or happiness with a gentle tingle up your spine. No feeling is wrong.

To learn to align, you first identify the comfort or discomfort level in the most sensitive part(s) of your body.

Bodily discomfort means that your higher Self is trying to tell you something and you are out of alignment with purpose.

Many people feel discomfort in the stomach or other parts of the digestive tract. Others feel a heaviness, constriction or pain at their heart when out of alignment. Some experience tenseness in their shoulders or back and still others get headaches.

Your greatest bodily challenges are actually your greatest spiritual teachers and keys to alignment.

Once you sense discomfort in your body, you align through some form of relaxed meditation. During times of discomfort, lay back, relax and surrender to knowing your truth.

Then, bravely ask your higher Self what it is trying to tell you through your body and give yourself a chance to learn the answer.

You may see, feel, hear, taste or even smell the answer, depending on your sensing proclivities. Your intuition may come forth boldly and you will suddenly just know. The answer may come right away or it may come later when you least expect it. Or it may come in a dream.

Know that all questions are answered when you are ready, and no question asked with honesty and integrity is ignored. When you learn and act upon the answer, the discomfort diminishes and you are aligned.

Another exercise for aligning with your higher Self through your body is to practice asking YES and NO questions while doing the above meditation.

Each time you ask yourself a question, your body will react in one of two ways: it will react kindly (feel good) in accordance with alignment (YES), or it will warn you that something is not right by feeling worse (NO, or more questioning is needed).

Begin by asking questions that you know the answers to, like:
  • Is my name Leslee?
  • Is my name Joe Smith? or
  • Do I love my partner?
  • Etc.
Get to know your bodily YES and NO feelings before moving on to the next step. When you are comfortable, ask harder questions, like:
  • Is it in my best interest to work for this company?
  • Is my heart feeling closed because I am afraid of intimacy with my husband/work associates/other?
  • Is it in my best interest to pursue this relationship or course of action?
  • Should I be doing something other than what I am doing with my life?
Your higher Self will appreciate that you are seeking to align with it and you will notice an improvement in the way your body feels.

Many who are persistent and patient enough can do question and answer sessions like this until they facilitate an explosive emotional and energetic release.

Some people wonder whether there is danger in trusting the higher Self in all things, for they do not recognize what guides them and they do not trust themselves. Know that most have been taught that they are not trustworthy.

Regardless of conditioning, however, your higher Self knows what needs accomplishing in your earthly realm, and it will not guide to that which is not possible within the confines of your current existence.

If it feels right in your body, it is right for you, period, regardless of what anybody else thinks. Get to know your higher Self and purpose through your body. This will be the best investment you ever make!

Esoteric - What Is It?

by Andrew Schneider -

The word 'esoteric' simply means that which is inner, contrasted with that which is outer or 'exoteric'. Esotericism is therefore the body of knowledge or wisdom about all aspects of life which are within, behind or beyond the outer appearance, form or expression of life's many aspects.

True knowledge or wisdom is not something we can acquire solely by using our minds and brains, learning it in an academic way.

It can only be gained by experience. Experience does not imply doing something physically, but rather necessitates a direct contact between one's consciousness and a state of energy.

For example, if you meet someone who has just suffered a severe loss and you attune to that person, feeling what they feel, you have an experience that can make you a wiser person, knowing more about the nature of loss and its consequent pain.

If, however, you are able to experience that person at a deeper level of being, you will gain the wisdom of knowing the real purpose of the loss and its meaning in that person's life.

To have this deeper experience requires the ability to have conscious awareness of Soul, or Higher Self.

To take this example even further, if you have conscious awareness of the Planetary Soul you would be able to experience the person's loss in the light of all losses that everyone experiences and see what place loss has in the unfolding intelligent and loving life of the planet.

The wisdom derived from such experience would be very profound.

What is esoteric cannot, as you see, be neatly and simply defined or confined to narrow parameters. There are many levels of what is inner and many dimensions of energy states that can be experienced.

Behind every phenomenon exists a 'world' of energies. It is energy which produces phenomena or forms when it descends or manifests in the lower three worlds of thought, feeling and physical matter. Beyond these worlds are other formless but real worlds or dimensions of life energy.

All of that which exists is some type of energy that has its source in ultimate simplicity or purity of formless energy.

For reasons beyond our comprehension, we perceive this simple energy manifesting itself by degrees in greater complexity. As it does so, it descends through many levels of expression, first formless and then formed.

When it is formed, we experience it with our form nature -- our bodies, emotions, and brain-minds. When it is still formless we can, however, also experience it with the formless aspects of our individual consciousness -- namely our higher minds, intuition, Soul and Spirit.

Every stepping down of energy from a higher (simpler and more inclusive) state to a lower (more complex and particular/exclusive) state is cause-producing-effect.

It is the higher state of energy, being cause, that is the purpose and meaning of every lower state or effect. If we do not relate to or search for the cause, if we do not attempt to experience beyond phenomena, we cannot know the higher purpose or meaning of anything, least of all ourselves.

It is also this level of cause which is the quality of a thing or person. Quantity is a measure of the outer characteristics, such as size, physical features, weight, etc.

Quality is an indication of the energy which produces the form. It is through the experience of quality that we are able to direct energy, including our own, and actually become it to the point where we are able to function as conscious causes rather than unconscious effects of life.

This ability enhances our power, enables us to love unconditionally and opens the door to true understanding.

What makes us who we are is our individuality. We usually equate our individuality with our personality (physical body, emotions, brain-mind).

The personality is but the outer or exoteric expression of individuality.

The Soul is the inner or esoteric expression of individuality.

Being esoteric, it is of a higher energy state more inclusive, more creative and causative and therefore more real and central to our being.

As consciously aware Soul beings, we can and do serve in our capacities as Redeemers, Saviors and Interpreters.

We function as the mediating principle between higher and lower, bringing the energies from higher sources down to earth, anchoring and grounding them.

We relate the formless causes to the formed effects; we embrace the form worlds as meaningful creations of our unconditional love, and we bring clarity and purpose to all that happens.

The principal means whereby the higher energies are grounded is by incorporating them consciously in ourselves and expressing them through our thoughts, feelings, and actions as virtues and qualities of being, such as kindness, sharing, sacrifice, discipline, unconditional love, forgiveness, acceptance, patience, etc. -- in short, all quality reflective of truth, goodness and beauty, producing ever-increasing oneness or unity!

The Way Up

by Doreen Virtue, PhD -

The Era of Earth Changes:

The Earth Changes that we all anticipated are upon us. This is why lightworkers such as yourself are on this planet at this time. We are here as role-models of peacefully walking through these changes and staying centered in love instead of fear.

The angels have shown me an energy field that looks like a thick layer hovering over the earth. They said that we have the choice of living below this energy field or above it. You live below it by becoming fearful about the news stories of earth changes.
You live above the energy field by taking healthy action and staying centered in love.

Healthy action steps to take right now, in preparation for continued earth changes include:

ACTION STEPS
  • Keep your thoughts and speech positive and uplifted, especially when discussing earth changes. If you are with people who are having fear-based discussions about the earth, it’s part of your life purpose to steer the conversation in uplifting ways. For instance, you can talk about positive action steps to take, such as donating time, money or supplies to places that have endured earth changes; taking eco-friendly measures such as driving less, installing solar heating, recycling, avoiding plastic shopping bags, etc.
  • Pray for the earth every day and ask what you can do to help. Then take those action steps without delay.
  • Purify your diet, so that you can more easily hear the Divine voice, which is like the Emergency Broadcast System that will guide you safely through the earth changes. Stop eating processed foods now, as they are blocking you from hearing the Divine voice clearly. Simple foods, such as uncooked organic fruits and vegetables that you buy locally or grow yourself, are the way to go.
The Earth is alive and loving and she’s taking action to heal herself. Your angels are watching over you and your loved ones and they are always broadcasting messages that will ensure your well-being and safety, as well as guiding you along the path of your life purpose. As long as we work hand-in-hand with our Divine guidance, we will live through the Era of Earth Changes with much spiritual growth.

Relationships

The angels say that we put too much pressure upon human relationships, demanding that they live-up to our unconscious memories of heaven’s unconditional love.

The love that you crave is actually a longing to merge with Divine love, which is all-encompassing and consistent. Human love wobbles and wavers, in contrast, as fear inter-fears with the expression of love within relationships.

Divine love is continuously within and around you.

God and the angels are your steady companions. Ask them for a sign of this love and they will deliver a comforting validation.

In your relationships with people, adopt the angels’ practice of overlooking the ego’s fear-based behaviors.

See the love and light within yourself and others and don’t demand that they live up to the perfect love of Heaven. Know that every person, including yourself is doing the best that they can do.

The Portal of Spiritual Freedom

by DL Zeta -

There is a thoughtform that exists on the Earth plane that thrives in certain levels of consciousness. This is the thoughtform of slavery.

There are obvious ways in which this thoughtform manifests itself in your world. In some cases, human beings are literally bought and sold.

To those who consider themselves to be living in an enlightened society, these more obvious forms of slavery are not acceptable.

Yet even as you may consider this reality far from your daily existence, it swirls all around you, eating at the heart of collective consciousness, a worm constantly reproducing itself in new forms.

The bright hope of all the universe is that a new awareness drifting through the dreams of earthly life will take hold and seed freedom within Earth’s future history.

To assist you in awakening to these new dreams, we will shine the light of awareness on the many ways the thoughtform of slavery infiltrates your world.

The Master/Slave Thought Form

First, we bring your attention to the mindset many humans hold toward the other kingdoms that exist on the Earth plane.

These are animal, plant and mineral. There is a way of seeing all life subjugated to the careless will of a blind master who sees only his own wishes and desires.

There is a great misunderstanding in your world that this carelessness is acceptable.

It is the way in which the most helpless in your world are treated that charts the course of your society in the records of all-time. This includes the way in which the environment is viewed.

This perspective is at the root of your present environmental crisis and the extinction of many animal and plant species.

Those who enslave and mistreat the meek among you reap the rewards of an enslaved consciousness constantly pushing against the ever narrowing confines of a closed heart and mind.

Whenever a human steps free of this most basic enslaving thoughtform, a great song rises from the angelic realm. Heaven and Earth step closer together.

The second form of enslavement is false wealth. Understand the only true wealth is an abundance of the flow of spirit into the life.

If wealth of resources is needed to fulfill one's earthly mission, wealth in all forms materializes to the extent it is needed and used. If the need is for an abundance of time, wealth will appear in that form. True wealth takes many forms depending on the need of the life purpose.

The True Nature of ‘Karma’

On Earth, false wealth is often created by those who do not understand the principles of true wealth.

False wealth is any gain created at the expense of others -- other humans, animals, plants, minerals and the Earth itself.

This wealth is always created at the expense of one's own personal mission in life, and at the expense of one's spiritual progression.

This is a point where great karma is created in your world.

Remember that karma is the triggering of a series of events to create needed understandings.

If a person is in the business of buying and selling human beings, they in effect trigger and set into motion future events -- in this lifetime or another -- that will help them understand how this activity is not aligned with the will and desire of their spirit.

Sometimes gaining an understanding of this magnitude is a journey that spans lifetimes. Sometimes it is the journey of a few hours or seconds, depending on the readiness of the consciousness for spiritual alignment.

The Master is the Slave

Even when one gains awareness of ways in which they seek to enslave others, they may remain unaware of ways in which they continue to enslave themselves.

Examples would be jobs that are not fulfilling, religions and ideologies that limit growth, diets and lifestyles that poison the existence, and old programming from a number of sources that range from family influences to institutional efforts to program and enslave mass consciousness.

At subtle levels, the enslavement of others may be unintentional and may only be an offshoot of the practice of enslaving oneself. Here is a great truth about the human condition: a person rarely treats others better than they treat themselves. That is why true love and compassion must grow from within.

This enslavement of self is the third means of enslavement. This is often the last to go and the most difficult to release.

It is important you understand that all of what has been described -- the enslavement of the helpless and the enslavement of false wealth - both of these include enslavement of self. If a person seeks to enslave another, they enslave themselves.

This may not be in the same way that one is enslaving others because enslavement of self is infinitely more profound. While a person may be able to enslave another's physical existence, they are not necessarily able to enslave another’s spirit.

When one enslaves oneself, it is at all levels – body, mind and soul.

Lightworkers & Self-Enslaving Thoughtforms

This self-enslavement is a thread that continues to bind many would-be lightworkers to a lower vibration that casts a dim glow on the world they seek to heal.

At this time when the radiant light of spirit is greatly needed to free the Earth plane of its shackles, many of those who have volunteered to focus and anchor the beam of this light enslave themselves in many manifestations of illusion such as addictions, codependency, false wealth and apathy.

Some in your world have chosen to enclose themselves in a literal wall of flesh, effectively shackling their present existence to past dietary choices and self-destructive habits.

What is worse, powerful souls who choose to enslave themselves unconsciously bring down the vibration of all those around them.

To free one's own consciousness, one must be willing to enter the Portal of Spiritual Freedom again and again.

Spiritual freedom is the ability to choose one's highest path inside every moment, unhindered by illusory thoughts and beliefs that block the path to self-realization and the unconditional love of all-that-is.

It is inside this portal where every aspect of one's waking dream is examined to detect the ways in which one is enslaving their own consciousness and that of others.

Inside this portal, guides assist in bringing awareness of enslaving thoughtforms that still permeate the consciousness and help create the vision for a future free of all forms of slavery.

It is the recognition of one's own enslavement and will toward freedom that turns the key in the lock, releasing the shackles of all thoughtforms that imprison consciousness.

Beyond these shackles exists a deep and profound freedom where the soul unites fully with the earthly consciousness, ushering in a new day in human consciousness.

5 Steps to Hearing Your Inner Wisdom

by Claudette Rowley -
  • Is your life out of sync with your priorities?
  • Do you feel like you're a hamster running on a wheel?
  • Have you forgotten who you are?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, read on... Learn to listen to your inner voice, the essence of who you are by following these five steps:

THE FIVE STEPS

1) Check in with Your Heart:

Social conditioning teaches us to be logical and "use our heads". When you only use your head, your experience of yourself and the world is limited. You miss out on the vital information the rest of your body, heart and soul is giving you.
Benefits:
The same neurological tissue found in the brain is found in the heart. The heart is a second "brain" and our emotional centre. Listening to your head and your heart is crucial to good decision-making about your life, your business and your relationships.
New Focus:
Put your hand over your heart and focus there - what is it telling you?

2) Connect With Your Body:

Your body gives you a tremendous amount of useful information that you may not be conscious of.
For example:
  • When your mother-in-law visits, does your stomach tie up in knots?
  • When your boss yells at you, do your shoulders turn into stone?
  • When you feel passionate and alive, does your chest feel warm and open?
When we ignore the body's message, we lose out on valuable information designed to let us know what works for us and what doesn't.
Benefits:
For many people, fear manifests as a tightness in their chest. This is valuable information, especially if you aren't aware that you are afraid. Your body alerts you to what makes you feel passionate and what doesn't. The body is a fount of wisdom designed to tell you when you're on the right path and when you aren't.
New Focus:
Notice the messages your body is giving you right now. Try a self-massage to find areas in your back, neck or shoulders that are tense or knotted. What other areas of your body feel tight? Which ones feel relaxed and loose? Use this information as another key to listening to your inner wisdom.

3) Listen to Your Intuition:

Intuition is simply knowing something without knowing exactly how you know it. Connect back to a time that you had a "gut feeling" about something - the job that you knew you shouldn't take, even though it looked good on the surface or the relationship that just felt right for you. That's your intuition talking to you.
Benefits:
Gut feelings are a wealth of information. Remember, your intuition is never wrong, although your interpretation of it may be incorrect. When your intuition calls to you, trust it. Practice makes perfect when it comes to using your intuition effectively.
New Focus:
The next time you need to make a decision, check in with your intuition. Experiment with trusting it. When you follow your intuition, what happens? When you hear it and disregard it, what's the outcome?

4) Notice Your Self-Saboteur:

Each of us has our very own special saboteur. The saboteur is the voice in your head that says, "You are not good enough." "Who do you think you are?" "If you take this new job, everyone will find out what a fraud you are."

The saboteur's job is to "protect" you from taking risks and making changes.
Benefits:
Learn to distinguish between your voice and the saboteur's mumbo-jumbo. Notice how the inner critic drives the choices and decisions you make.
New Focus:
Simply notice the negative voices playing in your head. Notice the times when they crop up. Recognize that the voices aren't you and they aren't true.

Learning to separate your own voice from that of the saboteur is a powerful and life changing tool.

5) Identify Limiting Beliefs:

We each carry a set of beliefs that we live by. Certain beliefs you hold consciously, while others are mainly unconscious.

Beliefs develop out of past experiences and our interpretations of those experiences. Some of the conscious and unconscious beliefs that you develop limit your ability to grow and move forward in your life.
For example,
One of your goals as a successful entrepreneur is to make a lot of money. You discover that you have a belief - a limiting one - that it's wrong to make a lot of money. Until you begin to alter your beliefs about money, it will be more difficult for you to achieve that financial success you desire.
Benefits:
Learning to notice a limiting belief allows you to become conscious of it and then change it. Releasing a belief that limits you puts you back in the driver's seat of your life. You, rather than an old belief, make the choices that are right for you and allow you to fulfill your potential.
Ways to spot a limiting belief:
  • You tell yourself that you only have one or two choices in a situation or "no choice" at all.
  • Your inner critic expresses his or her opinion.
  • The inner critic's opinion is generally based in a limiting belief.
  • You make a decision based on fear.
  • You feel constricted and notice that you lack clarity about a specific situation.

    New Focus:
How does a particular belief allow you to attract what you really want in life? How does it prevent you from attaining your goals? When you reach an obstacle in your path, make sure that it's not an old belief in your way.

When important questions like "What do I want?" or "What's the right choice for me to make?" surface in your mind, consult your inner voice.

You possess the answers you need to live a life that feels successful and fulfilling. Listening to your inner voice can lead you on a path that feels deeply satisfying. Your business and personal lives will flourish with this new level of trust!

Reclaim Your Essence

by Jean-Claude Koven -

"Most people are other people," Oscar Wilde once remarked. "Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."

As he so wryly observed, the vast majority of us are not who we've been pretending to be and the lives we've been living until now are molded according to rules and values that are not our own.

Most of humanity is stuck in someone else's discarded chewing gum and has yet to break free.

  • Unless you have been brave enough to forsake this trap, here is your likely portrait:
  • your religious convictions are those of your parents or community;
  • you root for your hometown sports teams;
  • your political allegiances conform to the party system that society offers;
  • you are an avid observer of the cultural pageantry,
  • like the Super Bowl and the Oscars;
  • your holidays are the standard ones, such as Christmas, New Year's Eve and Independence Day;
  • you look to your political and religious leaders for guidance and protection;
  • you feel driven to succeed--to make more money, to live a better life.

These are worthy and desirable choices that hold families and societies together.

They make you who you are, you might argue. True, but only if you are content with admiring the wrapping and never looking inside the box.

If you dared to look, you'd discover how these basic thoughts originate in a fundamental belief formed during the first years of your life: that survival depends on obeying the rules.

Children typically bend their perceptions and interpretations of reality to match those of their parents and others who care for them. They find clever ways to please in order to receive attention and belong.

As they grow up, the people and issues may change over time, but the initial patterns of conformity remain deeply ingrained in the subconscious.

The price for surrendering to consensus is steep.

It is nothing less than the loss of individuality and curiosity. Without these two magnificent attributes, you disengage from the grandness of the creation and implode into the holographic illusion humans have come to call reality.

You become one of Oscar Wilde's other people, thinking someone else's opinions and assuming they are your own.

We are trapped in the daily drama that the culture and the media feed us: mortgages, sporting events, tsunamis, sex offenders, AIDS, terrorism, global warming, corrupt governments, and economic inequities . . . all demanding our attention.

The matrix plays us like an instrument. A thirty-second news bite can push our buttons.

We get hooked and riled, liberally lacing our collective guts with corrosive biochemicals unleashed by our righteous indignation.

This condition is virtually universal. It is also the underlying cause of the world as we know it.

People cling so tightly to their personal and social identities that they are blinded to anything that does not validate them. The inevitable product is a world of war, greed, and competition, driven by paranoia and fear.

The way out is easier than anyone might imagine.

However, very few summon the courage, for it requires them to leave the comfort of their known world and walk alone, unaided by the crutch of belief and dogma, into the domain of pure consciousness.

Most people would rather get caught up in the business of earning a living, raising a family, or helping their community than deal with the unsettling immensity of All That Is.

Yet it seems that all humans are meant to take this epic journey of discovery at some point in their series of lives on this planet.

If you choose to walk this path, you will find yourself gaining a new perspective--that of consciousness, where the mind, with its judgments and emotions, ceases to dominate and the heart is your only reliable guide.

The great issues of your daily life that once commanded your attention now seem wondrously arbitrary and irrelevant--simply interesting experiences that lasted far too long and became unnecessarily weighty.

The Illusion is a Game-Board Projection

You now see the illusion for what it is: a game-board projection designed so aspects of the Oneness can experience duality, fear and separation. It is no more real than a programmed matrix in a computer game.

You and I are merely units of awareness projected into the matrix, defining ourselves by the points through which we view, and believing what we see to be reality. Who did the projecting? You. Who is the projection? You. There is only you.

How do you get to this liberating place from which you can see the larger picture? The cosmic formula of creation is gloriously simple:

Attention + Intention = Manifestation

Nothing in the universe evades this law. The reality you perceive is entirely a function of the only two forces at your command: your attention and your intention.

Bring conscious awareness to this equation--consciously monitor your attention and intention and what you are manifesting--and everything changes.

Through this ongoing process of self-observation it will become increasingly clear that the part of you that is projected into the illusion is in trouble. This realization, in fact, marks the beginning of your journey out of the illusion.

Once you begin to couple the law of Attention + Intention = Manifestation with the concept of Oneness, you begin to see a completely different picture. You are All That Is. There is nowhere for you to go, nothing to attain, no lessons to learn.

If you buy into the reality that you are an earthbound human stuck in the struggle of life, presto!, there you are. If you focus on the part of you that is watching you flounder in the illusion, snap!, you're free...

It can't get much easier than that. Yet why are so few of us awake?

The written or spoken word can do no more than point the way. And trading one belief system for another accomplishes nothing. The answer lies elsewhere.

Waking up is a consequence of induction. Just a few years ago you might have placed yourself in the presence of a guru or master and through devotion, discipline, or some other practice, gradually assumed some of his or her enlightenment.

Now, using the law of A + I = M, you become your own master.

By focusing your attention on the part of you that is watching the rest of you floundering in the illusion, you are taking a giant step in restoring control over how your attention is commanded.

If you add the intention of reclaiming your essence, you complete the formula that can only result in the manifestation of whatever your curiosity seeks to explore.

The payoff of having been so deeply mired in the illusion that you nearly succumbed -is compassion for those still stuck in the matrix, coupled with a large dose of humility.

You have learned that the illusion is perfect exactly as it is.

The only thing that needs to change is the point from which we view it. Now all that's left is for you to summon the courage to begin the journey home!
