Are You Sabotaging Your Spiritual Evolution?

by Evita Ochel -

Perhaps from the day that we can communicate, we start to form beliefs.

As we go through life, we seem to accumulate more and more beliefs. Not only that but in many ways our convictions also grow stronger about what we believe.

Alongside we become more resistant to changing them because it seems our entire life foundation is built upon them and would crumble if we disturbed anything.

Have you ever stepped back and consciously considered what it is that you believe? And why?

Have you ever traced the roots of your beliefs to find out where they really came from? And what validity they have, if any?

How often do you take inventory of what it is that you believe?

Thus what happens to most of us unfortunately, is that we stop using beliefs to help us on our spiritual journey of evolution and instead become imprisoned in our beliefs.

We divide and separate ourselves over our beliefs. We fight for our beliefs. We will argue with loved ones and strangers alike because of our beliefs. Some even kill due to, and for their beliefs.

Just like the Ego, beliefs in and of themselves are not bad.

Both are simply tools and as we know when it comes to any tool, its power and effectiveness comes from how we use it.

So let’s take a further look at the enslaving and empowering sides of beliefs to remind ourselves how to best use them on our journey of spiritual evolution.

Where Did We Get Stuck?

Being an active member in the online communities for several years now, I have noticed a certain pattern within the last year especially when it comes to this topic.

I have had numerous opportunities to observe how many people during their awakening are being disempowered by the ideas going around that they choose to accept as solid facts, sabotaging their spiritual evolution.

I am not talking here about the limiting beliefs of religious or political dogma, which for so long have shackled humanity into fear, guilt and disempowerment, and could have their own long discussion.

Instead, I am talking about the fields of spirituality, metaphysics and New Age thought that are supposed to be awakening us further.

During this time of the shift on our planet, many people’s journey of awakening includes shattering the limiting beliefs of religious or cultural dogma to free themselves.

For many, this causes a major turn in their lives that includes a period of elation, upliftment and renewed sense of empowerment.

However, fast forward to a few months or few years later and we have so many of these same people locked into new beliefs, sabotaging further spiritual evolution.

In the grand scheme of things, don’t get me wrong, I know there is perfection always, even in what looks like madness and everything has its time. But my hope in writing this, is simply to nudge some of us back on track to enjoy the benefits of this beautiful physical experience and continue to further our evolution.

Let us use a current popular New Age example with regards to the Shift of Ages on this planet, to demonstrate this point further.

Today, I have the pleasure of interacting with people from all over the world, of all ages and races, who strongly believe in many captivating ideas surrounding this topic.

Some of the most popular beliefs include:
  • Planet Nibiru flying by or even crashing into the Earth,
  • Ascending into the 5th Dimension,
  • the Earth being split based on evolution levels,
  • our DNA being fully activated,
  • getting light bodies,
  • the magnetic poles reversing and causing worldwide destruction,
  • being saved by aliens and taken away in their craft
  • and on and on the different beliefs go.

Now please understand that I am not saying that any of the above are wrong or false but it is possible they are not true either.

Basically put, getting locked into ANY beliefs isn’t beneficial for us.

Our power, our freedom and our expansion lies in flexibility of thought, not in locking down of thought.

As soon as we form strong beliefs about ANYTHING, we limit or stagnate our growth in that area. It is normally with good intentions that people explore new ideas, only to end up having them as new dogma to live by.

Therefore through this exploration, I am not telling you or asking you to give up your beliefs, but simply to keep expanding them.

Expand all your beliefs enough to always allow some light, clarity and most importantly awareness to shine into them. Keep expanding them, so that there is always room for growth.

Whether you are seeking a path of spiritual enlightenment, or simply want to live out your highest potential, have a happier, healthier and more peaceful life, continually surveying and expanding our personal beliefs is necessary for continued growth and evolution of our soul.

The more willing we are to let go of the old ideas and move on to the new ones, the easier coming events will be for us.

Freedom Lies in Fluidity

So how do we free ourselves? And what makes humans so prone to wanting to solidify ideas into beliefs so readily?

The answers to both of these questions can be complex but to look at things simply they both have their answer rooted in the state of our consciousness.

To understand this fully, let’s back track a little.

One of the most dangerous beliefs we have is to “believe” that we *must* have a set of beliefs, otherwise we do not know who we are, where we came from, etc.

This is why it would be one thing if we *just* believed in the different ideas. But the biggest problem comes from the fact that within short periods of time, we attach our identity to the beliefs we hold.

This is the most catastrophic part about beliefs and makes them become stuck in the individual and collective consciousness.

Races, religions and nations have done this for eons and we see the state it has resulted in on our planet. Strong beliefs alone only create tough habits to break. But identity driven beliefs, create human and planetary destruction.

Today, the average person on this planet is mostly defined by what they believe or do not believe.

We insist on holding so tightly to so many of our beliefs that they can cause us a lot of suffering. In fact they can destroy us, our communities, even whole countries.

Again, we can easily see examples of this all around us in our world.

However, to appreciate the power of beliefs over us and why we seem to wrap our identity in them, as if we “own” the beliefs, or “are” the beliefs comes from the unconscious nature of our mind.

Until we master our minds and really mature on a spiritual level, we live the majority of each day (yes over 90% at least), from the unconscious state of our mind.

Most people are so entrapped in habitual thinking, speaking and doing that they cannot comprehend this fact at all and will argue left, right and center that they are indeed acting from the conscious state.

It is amazing how the unconscious can trick us into buying into that belief too.

So, in order to step out of the rigidity of our beliefs and not base our identity on them, it takes a great deal of regular conscious awareness about what we think, say and do and WHY.

Consider the following example.

Many times you may have brought something to someone’s attention.

Like for example a different way of seeing something, or doing something. Do you remember the most common response you normally get from them after?

It usually goes something like this accompanied by a pleased astonishment “Thanks, I never considered doing/thinking/being that.” And why?

In order to “consider” something, we have to be using our conscious mind, otherwise we function solely from the unconscious mind.

To the observer or even the participant, it may go completely unnoticed in the daily routines whether we are functioning from the conscious or unconscious mind.

However, upon deeper analysis one realizes that living from the unconscious state keeps us stuck in cyclical patterns.

This means we can only experience a very limited way of seeing or doing things. When we switch over to conscious thinking, this is often where people have all sorts of awakenings, from the minor to the major.

In the end, as I already shared above, the problem is not in having beliefs, but in taking them too seriously, attaching ourselves and our sense of identify to them or thinking we are them (and they us).

There is nothing wrong in forming beliefs and using them as the wonderful tools they can be to propel us further along our spiritual evolution, as long as they stay fluid, always ready to work with the ebb and flow of life, as we traverse on our spiritual paths.

How To Use Beliefs in Empowering Ways

In order to integrate all that is shared here, what can you do in your personal life on a practical level?

Always question what you believe.

It doesn’t matter how many scientists have proven it, or how many people in the world believe it.

Whenever you hear yourself giving out facts or having thoughts, bring in moments of conscious awareness by asking yourself questions about the belief.
  • “Why do I believe that?”,
  • “Where did that belief come from?” and most importantly
  • “Does it serve me currently?” are all vital questions to consider.

Keep all beliefs fluid, knowing that the Universe rarely works in certainties.

Rather, potential and possibility is all around us to experience pretty much anything we can think of experiencing.

Nothing is impossible, everything is possible, and every belief has as many “truths”, as there are minds to consider it.

Stay consciously alert not to adopt other people’s beliefs blindly.

The way I look at the world today is not that some people are lying or wrong, while others are telling the truth or right, but simply that everyone has their own version of reality. And given their model of the world or reality, their beliefs are always right for them.

According to my version of reality, their beliefs may not be right at all or right for me. We don’t need to judge or convince each other to adopt each other’s ways, but simply respect the diversity of experiences possible.

No one person can give you the whole truth

Each person experiences this reality through their personal biases, and is at their own level of evolution. They do not have your truth, and they definitely do not have the whole truth no matter how convincing or good they may sound.

The best any of us can have while on this planet, or until we attain mastery of our mind and integration with our higher self, is an interpretation of truth.

Therefore, we must each continually find our own interpretations, that serve our spiritual journey most at any given moment.

When in doubt, consult your intuition.

Your feelings and emotions don’t lie. Your thoughts may, and often do. Your mind can find all sorts of ways to trick you, but your emotions won’t.

When you read or hear something, take a conscious moment to be still and see how it is making you feel.

Once you practice this enough, you will not mistaken the feelings inside when material resonates with you on a deep, soul level, versus when it is not in your best interest to pursue it further.

Choose your beliefs wisely.

If you are going to believe something, which we pretty much always do at any given point in time, choose the most positive, uplifting and empowering beliefs.

Not only will your state of mind and quality of life benefit from this, but it benefits the entire collective consciousness.

The more people buy into and believe ideas based on doom, negativity, fear and a sense of disempowerment, the “worse” of a collective reality we are co-creating for each other.

Consider everything, attach strongly to nothing.

This allows you to move through your spiritual evolution with most ease and grace, enjoying the journey along the way, instead of being burdened by it.

So while there are some fundamental Universal laws, which govern the evolution and life in this dimension, most of what is being passed around and presented as fact or truth, is just a bunch of creative possibilities of what can be depending on your view of reality.

So whether it is about God, the nature of life, death, reality, health, food, education, work, relationships, parenting, yourself, or any other topic, take regular inventory of the beliefs you hold in all of these areas.

Continue to question, examine and expand them as this in return expands you as a being infinitely.

Don’t forget that the beliefs you hold about yourself are the most powerful ones, which govern the direction of every other belief you will ever have.

For example, if you believe yourself to be disempowered or not have choice in life, your beliefs about everything in the world will reflect that right back to you.

To conclude, I would like to leave you with the beautiful words of Lau Tzu, who reminds us that water’s greatest strength, is its fluidity—its yielding nature. May we remember to be like water, where in order to be strong, we do not need to be stuck.
"Nothing in the world is as soft and yielding as water, Yet nothing can better overcome the hard and strong, For they can neither control nor do away with it. The soft overcomes the hard, The yielding overcomes the strong; Truth is easily hidden by rhetoric." --Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching
Expand your beliefs to expand your reality and continue to taste the infinite nature of all that is possible and true.

Timeline and Identity Shifts: The New Science of Reality Creation

by DL Zeta -

Timelines are Energetic Fields of Possibility:

We can think of timelines as reality threads or “storylines” that exist as potentials and probabilities in our energy field.

These reality threads are themselves energetic fields of possibility that can be perceived, chosen, energized and experienced. We also have the option to reject a perceived storyline and move in an alternate direction.

Some storylines exist parallel to our present “focus” reality while others reside further away. The shift to a nearby alternate thread is at times almost imperceptible.

Reality threads that are close energetic matches for our present storyline may look and feel so similar to our present focus that we miss the shift if we’re not alert to the subtleties. The differences between the two represent the distance between our existing reality and the new potentials we have chosen.

Over time, many small shifts lead to a bigger shift.

We have all had the experience of looking back over the decade we’ve just left and seeing how our lives are very different than they were 10 years ago, five years ago and even a year ago.

These smaller shifts happen all the time largely under the radar of conscious awareness.

Quantum Reality Shifts

Shifting to reality threads that energetically exist at a distance from our present storyline generally takes awareness and planning.

These quantum reality shifts are most successfully crafted by a masterful “reality architect.”

However, those with a developed intuitive sense can navigate complex shifts through intention and staying attuned to intuitive guidance.

Understanding timeline and identity shifts and developing our skill at creating them will help us undertake quantum shifts.

Most people create change by randomly shifting to nearby reality threads.

There is nothing wrong with this method of energizing new reality threads but there are numerous pitfalls. Without clear intentions and goals, it is easy for a person to aimlessly drift through a succession of disjointed realities, ultimately becoming lost on a sea of apathy.

Without proper navigation and conscious choices, it is easy to unknowingly drift into a state of decline.

Gaining awareness of the current methods you use for navigating reality can be a big help in becoming captain of your own ship on the waters of life.

The Nature of Timelines and Future Probabilities

All reality threads are timelines that hold the potential to carry us into new locations in time and space.

Your present reality thread is a timeline.

You may be happy or frustrated with your present timeline. If you are looking for a change, it’s important to hold in awareness what it is you want to change.

Some things can be changed, others can’t. You can’t change the nature of a timeline already in existence but you can choose to shift to a new timeline altogether. Before you move to a new timeline, be sure to bring about closure with your existing thread.

Otherwise, you will find yourself beingpulled back to the old thread until you have laid to rest any negative feelings or judgments about the old reality thread and what you experienced there.

The timelines we leave behind don’t end once we shift our focus from them. Once we shift to a new thread, our previous reality thread continues to exist even though we are no longer focused there.

Healing the Past by Revisiting a Past Reality Thread

The fact that all our previous reality threads continue to exist after we have shifted our focus from them sheds light on new healing potentials.

While we can’t go back and relive a past reality thread or change that thread, we can travel back to a past thread and see it from the light of our present-moment spiritual understandings.

We are able to “tune in” a past thread by setting our intention to travel to this location in consciousness.

We are always able to bring our focus to a location in consciousness and use our powers of visualization and imagination to view that reality thread.

Viewing an old reality thread from the perspective of a new location in consciousness can bring about healing. Anytime we can view troubling and dramatic events from a neutral and detached state of mind, we step free of any emotional baggage we may be carrying from that moment.

We are, in a sense, literally able to retrieve the parts of our life force energy we left behind as “bookmarks” guiding us back to past moments still waiting to be understood and released.

Alternate Reality Threads and Focus Timelines

Alternate realities are templates created from our field of probabilities. Only a small percentage of possible timelines become focus timelines.

A timeline not chosen as a focus timeline continues to exist energetically within one's field of probabilities.

From the standpoint of the focus self, it exists latent and unrealized, but still energetically alive.

We will talk more about possibilities and probabilities later on. It is enough to know right now that our menu of alternate reality threads shifts and changes relative to our vibrational frequency and its many determining components.

To gain glimpses of probable realities, use your powers of higher perception.

Become still and calm and release all thoughts. Enter a state of relaxed and alert listening.

Raise Your Vibration

Raise your vibration to the highest frequency you can access within the moment.

From this vantage point, you can consult the future to discover the probabilities you are setting up (threads with which you are most in resonance), as well as other, alternate probabilities that exist further from your current field of resonance and consciously choose the course most closely aligned with your purpose.

Those possibilities that don’t yet qualify as probabilities can still be energized as such, but they may be a bit further in the distance.

Energetic frequency is the determining measurement of distance between timelines. Linear time is less relevant in this context.

Once you choose a future probability, you leave off with other, erroneous, “seeds" you're planting.

This allows you to begin intensively cultivating the line of probability most closely aligned with your purpose.

Scattering one’s energy among various potential reality threads is exhausting and keeps you spinning your wheels, unable to make any real progress along any particular thread.

Indecision and scattered energy bind us to ‘rutted’ realities that spin out eternally like the movie Groundhog Day until we see through this state of being.

Joy and Bliss

The storyline most aligned with your spiritual purpose will bring you the most joy and fulfillment.

You'll know which probability is most closely aligned with your purpose.

When you view this probable future, you’ll feel you have found the perfect lens with which to view your life.

Everything that has ever happened in your life will come into sharp focus. Your pulse will quicken, your heart will rise up into your throat.

You will feel yourself enveloped in a great rush of joy and bliss.

In the light of this future vision, everything that has ever happened in your life will make perfect sense.

Timeline and Identity Shifts: the New Science of Reality Creation contains cutting-edge information on how to choose, design and create realities aligned with your highest visions. Timeline and identity shifts work at the energy level.
Each person arrives here with an energetic field of probabilities. Over the course of a lifetime, these probabilities spin off each moment, offering unlimited reality threads we are able to perceive, choose and shift toward. This ebook goes into great detail in how to use the Timeline Shift Process to create realities of your choosing.
Timeline shifts have to do with the storyline we are shifting to, while an identity shift has to do with the role we play within that storyline. This ebook also discusses time travel, parallel realities and future probabilities through the lens of reality creation.

The Infinite Conscious Creative Force of Reality

by  Paul Lenda -
When comparing the current overall level of consciousness that we as the human race exhibit to the unlimited potential that we have in every possible way, we are still infants.

Going far beyond the shift from the self-centered to the unity-oriented modality of existence, this potential includes becoming the infinite conscious creative force of  Reality  itself.
It is a seemingly-unfathomable idea to think about, given our current overall level of consciousness. However, the potential is definitely there; we simply have to go through a  supramental transformation  of consciousness to reach this destination.

Focusing on higher mind-states such as peace, love, and happiness, merging biological and technological systems, and the experience of  extropy  all assist in manifesting such a reality in humanity’s future.

The choice whether we become that infinite infinite creative force is ultimately up to us.
Each moment of existence that we spend resisting the realities of interconnectedness,  oneness, and the universal laws such as those pertaining to cause and effect as well as attraction is one more moment keeping us away from attaining such an existence.
The concept of infinity is impossible to describe since it has never been experienced by a single human being in its fullness.

The idea of consciousness is likewise difficult to describe but as far as consciousness goes, it can be perceived as being one in the same with infinity if the perception is that all is consciousness and so if infinity is, was, and will be the totality of the manifest and unmanifest, then consciousness is infinite.
Sure, we can put an 8 on its side and say that it is a reasonable visual and mathematical depiction of infinity, but it does not help us much in experiencing infinity or becoming the infinite intelligent consciousness that encompasses all that  is  in Reality.

In order for this idea to work, one must have the conviction that consciousness is expressed as energy and this energy manifests itself in a wide variety of ways; from solid manifestations such as rocks, to the intangible and unquantifiable expressions of consciousness such as love.
This idea makes use of a multidimensional Reality, in which there are several more dimensions than the 4 that we interact with on a daily basis.

Theories in physics such as M-Theory identify the existence of 11 dimensions within their models and are adequate at assisting in the understanding of this idea of  epigenesis.
Given all of this, it can now be understood how this process of becoming the infinite conscious creative force of Reality can come about.

The mystical philosophy that can be used to explain this concept says that a person should utilizes life’s opportunities to change an individual’s circumstances. The evolution of the process is as such:
A person seeks first to understand how previous actions have contributed to current situations. Armed with this knowledge, the person sets out to initiate new causes that will eventually result in the most beneficial effects for both his or herself and humanity, as a whole.

The aspirant understands that by using this method, drastic change or elevation in the progression of one’s present and future evolution of consciousness can take place.

Such a person is a co-creator in his or her own destiny.
This is something known as “conscious evolution”. Instead of assuming the passive status of a passenger on life’s journey, it is preferred to determine the direction and nature of his or her own trip.

Much attention is paid to the subtle dimensions of what is considered the human being. Both eastern and western mystic tradition recognize that the health and vitality of the physical body are direct manifestations of this “higher” etheric vehicle.
According to the evolution of consciousness, humans build upon that which has already been created, but add new elements because of the activity of one’s consciousness (in times past interpreted or labeled as spirit).

Humans have the capacity, therefore, to become creative intelligences (creators) and ultimately, to become part of the Supermind that is the infinite creative intelligence of Reality.

For a human being to fulfill this promise, his or her training should allow for the exercise of originality, which distinguishes creation from imitation.
When the process of epigenesis becomes inactive, in the individual or even in a race of species, evolution ceases and degeneration commences.

This concept is based on the view of the world as being a training school, which posits that while mistakes are made in life, humans often learn more from mistakes than successes.

Suffering  is considered as merely the result of error and the impact of suffering on consciousness causes humans to be active along other lines which are found to be good, in harmony with nature.

Humans are seen as localized fields of consciousness attending the school of life for the purpose of unfolding latent powers within their beings, developing themselves from impotence to omnipotence, reaching the stage of creative beings at the end of humanity’s present physical evolution.
Science fiction has played with the idea of humans eventually evolving to the point where they become pure energy and exist in a higher dimension of Reality.

Although it may seem like fiction to us humans, it may have become a reality for a race somewhere else in the universe (assuming there is life beyond earth).

There is little in the way of impossibility in Reality, which assists in assuring us that the evolution of humanity is far from over.
Consciousness has growth potential that is not even contemplated by the most advanced thinkers of today.

There must be an open mind when musing about the possible future metamorphosis of the  transpersonal  consciousness of humanity since without such an accepting position of awareness, the vision cannot be seen. If the vision cannot be seen, it cannot ever come to fruition or become manifest.
The 21st century is teeming with advanced concepts, ideas, and theories concerning our current abilities and future possibilities.

Let us not close doors that have never been walked through. To get to the top of the mountain, one must first have the courage to climb.

Harmonizing and Aligning Your Chakras

by Lynn Claridge -

Did you know that by aligning the chakras helps with your health and well being? This self-help technique helps you physical, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

A common misconception about being in harmony with the universe is that you need to spend a lot of time meditating to reach a certain state of mind.

The truth is that one is always at one with the universe and you are aligned with the universe at all times.

For example, you may not feel yourself, however, what is really going on is that you are aligned and attracting yourself to a frequency that you do not find uncomfortable.

Aligning the chakras helps to balance your whole metabolism.

The chakras enable you to gather process and release energy from the earth and the atmosphere around you. The chakras conduct and filter a constant flow of energy through your body.

All life forms have chakra centers, the mineral kingdom has one chakra, the animal kingdom has three or four and it is only man that has three trans-personal centers linking you and allowing you to communicate with the universe.

Each of the chakra centers is sensitive to the vibration of a particular color. A healthy body draws in white light, which flows without obstruction into and out of the body’s chakras.

The following technique will show you how to start aligning the chakras to a frequency of your choice.

Make sure your back is straight and you are in a comfortable position. Energy runs vertically in your body, back and forth from chakra to chakra, from base of the spine to the top of the head.

Each chakra has a color, which corresponds to the colors of the rainbow, and these colors are in order, so they are easy to recall:
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet
All you need to do is spend one or two seconds in each center, this will help you focus your consciousness.

Instructions on how to focus so you can start aligning the chakras.
  • Start with the base of your spine; imagine a red glow for two seconds.
  • Now go to the navel area and imagine an orange glow for two seconds.
  • Now the stomach area and imagine a yellow glow there for two seconds.
  • Now move to the heart and image a green glow for two seconds.
  • Now move to the collarbone (where your neck meets your torso) and imagine a blue glow for two seconds.
  • Now the third eye area (on your forehead between your eyes) and imagine an indigo glow for two seconds.
  • Now the crown of your head, the light here is violet, but to the human eyes, it looks white.
  • Imagine a column of white bright light there flowing back and fourth from you to the universe, here you can spend more than a few seconds.
Congratulations on aligning your chakras, if you think of a goal or a happy emotion (or the opposite of an uncomfortable emotion), it will prompt divine intervention in your favor.

Doing the cycle once is usually not enough. It depends very much on your goal or your emotional state; you can repeat this exercise until a relaxed drowsy condition occurs.

Understanding the Art of Allowing

by Christine Sherborne -

Like me perhaps you have found that with the second or third time of listening to an audio or reading a book that a light bulb moment happens and you have a greater understanding of the words than you had before.

Over the last couple of days, I have been listening to ‘The Astonishing Power of Emotions’ by Esther and Jerry Hicks and have had an amazing revelation.

Now I would like to help you experience that light bulb moment for yourself.

This excellent book teaches us how to use our emotions as a guide, so we can apply the Law of Attraction to our best advantage.

You will soon see that in every instance to complete the attraction process you have to master the Law of Allowing. And as you absorb this information, you’ll see why lots of people are not successful when using the law of attraction for a specific purpose.

The reality is that most of us are so used to striving to achieve goals and fighting our way through life, that letting go and allowing an outcome to arrive in its own time is difficult for us to do.

The truth of the matter is, allowing is the opposite of striving. Please let that sink in for a moment. Jerry Hicks uses the analogy of rowing a boat. He explains that the process of allowing is the difference between rowing a boat upstream versus letting the current take you gently downstream.

The light bulb moment for me was the instruction to just let go, letting the current take you along.

So, what is the lesson?

It is simply that you need to let go of a specific outcome, let go of expectations, let go of trying to control our family, friends, workmates and environment.

If you are like me the thought of letting go, relaxing and allowing the Universe to bring to me the things I desire in its own time is such a relief. Really think about, what a wonderful thing it is… .to just let go… to relax… and let our thoughts bring about our desires.

Now, let me ask you this, have you focused your thoughts on what you want and then worried about how it will come about or wondered if it is even possible?

Just think about it, as soon as you start doing this you are, in fact, sending out the complete opposite vibration to what you want. The result being that you receive the opposite of what you are asking for.

Are you beginning to see how essential it is not to dwell on the many possible outcomes?

By letting go of the outcome, very often something happens that is even better than you hoped for or appears from a completely different source that you have no knowledge of now.

If you find it hard to turn off those thoughts, don’t worry. All you have to do instead is make the following suggestion to yourself. “I am really looking forward to receiving ………..and I know that the Universe can bring this to me in many varied and miraculous ways.”

It is widely known that the law of attraction works on the emotions that we produce and thus the energy is released that attract like to like. What this all means is that the act of letting go and relaxing gives us the good vibrations that we need to attract the best to us.

Like many of us, I am normally a goal oriented person and the thought of letting go was anxiety producing, as I like to be in control. However, imagine doing the opposite, being given the permission if you like, of letting the monkeys slide off your back. It makes sense doesn’t it?

When you try to control everything, strive and fight for what you want, you can never produce the good energy through your feelings and thoughts that will attract to you your hopes and dreams.

The very things we do actually push away what we want and just bring more of the same disappointments to us.The law of attraction in a way is so simple. Keep focusing on what you want, generate the emotions that vibrate with what you want, then relax and allow those wishes to materialize for you.

This doesn’t mean that you take no action at all, but you take a different kind of action. Yes, of course down the track you may have to take some actions to help those dreams along. However, this would be an action with a difference.

That is taking action when prompted to by the Universe. Any action you are prompted to do in this way would be without any feeling of striving or stress that you would normally feel, when trying to force change. These actions are ones which make you feel good.

The catalyst for these actions could be an unexpected door opening to a new opportunity, or the Universe may use a dream or give you a brainwave that comes out of the blue to show you the way.

So, see yourself mastering the Law of Allowing and then why not try an experiment?

Think of one thing that you would like to manifest for yourself. I suggest just a small thing, as this will give you practice and also confidence to move on to bigger requests in the future.

Think of this desire with emotion and bring up all the very best thoughts you can about it. What it will feel like when it arrives? Smile as you look forward to how the Universe is going to bring this request to you. Find it exciting and interesting to watch how the vibration activates the attraction to manifest this desire.

Do this with no preconceived thoughts of the process and be prepared to be amazed at the outcome.

Now picture yourself five years from now when you have mastered the art of allowing. Your life would be entirely different. Clearly, the bottom line is to find the better feelings and thoughts in all that you do. This will reduce your stress and set up a constant vibration that is attracting all your hopes and dreams into your life.

Tips for Relighting After Burnout:

The current environment brings additional stress to our homes and offices. You all probably know some of the symptoms.

Here are but a few. Check them off and then consider some actions.

Some Burnout Symptoms:
  • Work leaves you physically and emotionally drained.
  • You feel like you are accomplishing less and doing more.
  • You put your work first but no one appreciates your efforts.
  • You’ve lost your sense of humor and playfulness.
  • You find yourself short-tempered and angry.
  • You go on vacation but the feeling of overwhelm comes back immediately upon return.

What can you do to gain a sense of control?

Consider just some of these options:
  • Hold certain times sacred. Mark off a period of time for yourself on your calendar and treat it with gold.
  • Learn to say “no” by creating realistic boundaries. Speak up when you are overwhelmed. Remember, no one but YOU knows what you really do in the course of a day. Establish limits that honor the needs of the people around you while preserving the integrity of what you can honestly do.
  • Create a workspace that nurtures your soul. Whether it’s filled with pictures of the grandkids or flowers from your garden, this space must speak of you.
  • Exercise to burn off stress.
  • Allow 15 minutes in the morning just for you. This is quiet time for centering, breathing, preparing for the day. You’ll be glad you did.
Remember:

You are the captain of your ship. Pay attention to the wind and waves.

The Square Peg in the Round Hole

by Dr. Carolyn Porter -

I’m sure you’ve all heard the saying: you cannot fit a square peg in a round hole, or even vice versa. No matter how hard you whittle away in your attempt, it is never going to happen.

It has been used frequently when referencing relationships in which the individuals, particularly in intimate relationships, try desperately to make things work, even though they realize they are too different in what they want in the relationship.

This goes way beyond just the attempt to make two completely different individuals stay in a relationship.

There are many things in life that are mismatches and will not work even if you try with everything you’ve got to give.

Let’s examine a few of these instances.
1) You have a job that pays your bills. You are tired of the stress that comes with this job and the lack of creativity you have.
You feel stagnant and unappreciated, yet you tell yourself you have to remain to pay your bills, so you settle for less than you deserve. You probably do your best to like the job more or attempt to reduce your stress load but somehow it never happens.
That’s because you as the square peg cannot fit into this round hole; it’s not what you are meant to do. Yet you remain for fear of not receiving the income you want or need in a new and different job you could love.
2) Perhaps some of the friends you associate with do not raise you up any more but you want friends and people around you so you hang on.
things they talk you into doing don’t really fit you or their conversations bore you, but you keep them around anyhow. Perhaps you’ve forgotten that as you grow people will fall away – these so-called friends that were so important once.
You must let go of the old before the new can enter your life; that’s the way it works. Once again, you cannot fit the square peg into the round hole.
3) I wonder how many intimate relationships begin with one partner thinking they can change the other and make him/her into what they want? The chemistry felt good as did the commonalities, so the person ignored the red flags that had appeared.
From what I’ve learned in my life and from my clients, many of them did see some red flags but went through with the wedding/relationship anyhow, only to discover as time went on that they couldn’t change their partner at all.
Of course there are exceptions to every “rule,” but most of the time it doesn’t work ‘cause you cannot fit the square peg into a round hole! It’s sad that many individuals don’t look past the physical chemistry for what’s below the surface of their partner, and we know that the initial chemistry can fade rather quickly as various issues and characteristics appear.
4) Another case is the person who remains in their job for security and is not living their purpose in any way, shape or form.
They know inside something big is missing and they may fight with depression, guilt or even anger without the awareness of why.
While we do have to survive in this life with sufficient income to live, many people keep jobs for simply the income even though they are miserable and totally unhappy. No matter what they tell themselves they dread going to work each day and it continually drags them down.
Living Your Purpose

Living your purpose however puts you in complete alignment with your soul’s mission and is a freedom like nothing else.

There is no worry about trying to fit anything into anything for it is a perfect fit; you can feel that inside of you.

Sometimes an individual has no idea what their purpose is.

However, when you live each day in pure joy and are open to understanding your purpose while being willing to let go of anything that is a block for uncovering it, then it will appear for you.

Letting Go

Letting go can be the hardest part for many individuals but it’s only when you let go of trying to control your life and force together things that aren’t meant to be, that amazing things show up.

The same is true for anything or anyone that you are attempting to make fit into that round hole.

Letting go can be difficult but it is how the new can appear in your life, the perfect fit for you.

So I’m asking you: What do you need to let go of right now? What square peg have you been trying to fit into a round hole that hasn’t worked and will never work?

Now is the time to make the changes you need to make so you can truly find the freedom, peace, love and joy you absolutely deserve. The square peg will never fit in the round hole!

Do You Know Your 'Tipping Point'?

by Claudette Rowley -

In his book "The Tipping Point," Malcolm Gladwell describes how epidemics and trends "tip" into existence - seemingly out of nowhere - and influence cultural and social tides.

The same phenomena show up in our business and personal lives. We each have an internal tipping point - the moment at which we, often unconsciously, decide to engage in or back out of a relationship.

We might base this "tip" on a variety of issues:
  • similarity to someone else we know,
  • what we believe we deserve,
  • how someone "hooks" us and
  • what we expect from our connections with friends, colleagues or spouses.
There is tremendous value in recognizing our own personal tipping points.

If most of your relationships are positive and healthy, this awareness will help you make the most of your relationship choices and work through any kinks in otherwise good relationships. Stuck in a rut of difficult or challenging relationships?

Here's an opportunity to do some detective work about the drivers behind your tipping point. And hint, hint: readers now thinking, "I have only great relationships in my life," should take a closer look. Even seemingly great relationships can contain facets that drain your energy.

Red flags that it may be time to "tip out" of a personal or professional relationship:
  • You don't feel respected
  • You doubt yourself
  • You don't feel honored for who you are
  • It simply doesn't feel good or right
  • You feel out of synch with yourself, drained of energy or bored
  • You have attempted to address issues in the relationship and have been unable to resolve them to your satisfaction
Signs of a positive relationship to "tip into" or develop further:
  • You like who you are when you interact with this person
  • You feel respected for who you are
  • You don't feel judged
  • The relationship energizes you, inspires you, and makes you feel good about yourself
  • You have fun, learn and generally feel better off with this person in your life

If you are in the midst of reevaluating a relationship in either your personal or work life, here are three different lenses through which to view them:
1. Change it up.
Use different criteria for selecting a new business or friend. For example, if you usually jump into a relationship with both feet, slow it down.
If you most often are drawn to extremely outgoing people, explore the treasures of relating to someone who's more reserved.
2. Be honest with yourself.
If a relationship troubles you, really evaluate this person's place in your life.

  • What do you tolerate?
  • How does this relationship enhance your life?
  • What do you want to say to this person?
  • What motivates you to remain engaged in a relationship that doesn't feel right?
3. Notice your relationship style.
Are you like a door, swinging to and fro in your relationships? Are you like Velcro - clinging so hard it's difficult to let go? Or perhaps you resemble a kite - flying high above the ground, occasionally coming back to earth to connect? Or are you something else entirely?

The Bottom Line:

All relationships - yes, even the one with your boss - are voluntary. You can choose to engage or disengage at any moment.

Whenever you think that you're stuck, dealing with a situation that is no longer healthy for you, remember this: extracting yourself may be temporarily unpleasant but you'll feel so much better when you do.

Know your personal relationship tipping points, make conscious choices and watch your relationships transform - especially the relationship with me, myself and I!
