7 Tips for Self-Inquiry and Gaining Inner Peace

by Remez Sasson -
There is a deeper consciousness inside everyone, hidden beneath layers of thoughts, feelings and desires. This consciousness is like a strong bulb of light, which covers upon covers of thoughts, feelings and desires hide.
The purpose of self-inquiry is to remove the covers, let this bulb of light – this consciousness, shine unhindered.
After removing these covers hiding your “inner self”, your awareness and insight expands, and you experience happiness, bliss and inner peace.
You can compare this process to taking off the colored glasses, through which you see the world. This allows you to see life and reality as it is, without filters, leading you greater understanding about you and about life.
How do you remove the colored glasses? How do you remove the covers hiding your deeper consciousness – your essence?

You do this by removing the layers upon layers of thoughts, beliefs, feelings and desires hiding your true self.
The process of removing the covers is called self-inquiry, and has been made available to the public through the teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi.
Below, you will find a simplified version of how to use self-inquiry.
7 Tips for Self-Inquiry and Gaining Inner Peace
  1. Find a place where you can be alone and undisturbed for at least ten minutes.
  2. Sit down comfortably and relax your mind and your body.
  3. Calmly, watch your thoughts as they come and go.
  4. As each thought enters your mind and claims your attention, ask yourself, to whom, does this thought belong, without using words and without thinking. The answer would come through your intuition.
  5. Treat each thought with lack of interest and detachment and be careful not to follow it. Time and again, you might find yourself following your thoughts and forgetting what you intended to do. Your strongest ally should be your perseverance.
  6. Don’t analyze your thoughts, just look at them with detachment, as if watching a boring movie.
  7. Always bring your mind back to just watch your thoughts without getting involved with them.
The important point to remember while practicing self-inquiry is to detach yourself from your thoughts.

Developing this attitude, would give you power over your thoughts and desires, and enabled you to silence your mind.

This would lead to inner peace, awakening, and letting your “true self” shine unhindered by any sort of cover hiding it.
In time, if you repeat self-inquiry every day, you will discover that your mind is becoming quieter and producing less useless and restless thinking.

The compulsion to think and follow every thought would decrease, and you will begin experiencing a sweet taste of inner peace in your everyday life.

What Is Nonduality?

by Remez Sasson -
Nonduality a philosophy, which says that there is just One Eternal Spirit in existence, and that everything in the Universe was created by it and is an inseparable part of it.

At the same time, nonduality also says that the world is not real, but is an illusion perceived by the mind.
The mind finds it hard to accept the concept of nonduality, because it does not accept that the world is a creation of the senses and is not real.
In order to understand what is nonduality, you have to be in a state beyond words and thinking, and be able to silence the mind. In this silence, you realize the real meaning of non duality.
When you meditate and focus your full attention on your consciousness, rejecting all thoughts, good and bad, you ultimately arrive to the experience of non duality.

In this state, of being without thoughts, you realize your Oneness with the One Spirit.
The mind, with its thoughts, ideas, beliefs and habits, prevents you from seeing what is beyond it. It is as though it envelops your consciousness and obscures your vision.

It lets you see the world only through the eyes of the mind, which means that you see the world and everything in it, including yourself, as being separate from the world and from other people.

Only after removing the veil that the mind creates, you will be able to realize the Oneness of everything, and thereby, realize what nonduality is.

Understanding Nonduality

Imagine that the sky is hidden by clouds of different shapes and sizes. These clouds, constantly move around and change their shapes, and it is only when they disperse and disappear that you can see the blue sky.

The sky never moves or changes. It is here all the time, but is sometimes, hidden by clouds. The sky is permanent and always here, only the clouds are transitory, coming and going.
Thoughts, people and events constantly come and go, just like the clouds, while the background is the One Eternal and Formless Spirit, which is always here and never changes.

It is the only reality.

To be aware of the One Spirit, and understand that everything else is transitory and dependent on it, is to understand what nonduality is.
While dreaming during sleep, you go through all sorts of pleasant and unpleasant experiences.

In the dream, everything seems so real, but when you wake up you realize that these experiences were just a dream. They were not real, and lasted only while you were dreaming.
Before, during, and after the dream, you are the same person, living in the same conditions and circumstances but in your dreams you go through all kinds of experiences, situations and circumstances, which don’t really exist.

In this case, there is one constant factor, which is, you, and all else i.e., the activities in the dream, are only illusions.
It is like watching a movie and identifying with the heroes, and then, when it is over, you forget about it.

It seemed real for a while, but when you stopped watching the illusion disappeared. In all these situations, you – your consciousness – spirit, is the stable factor, and all else just come and go.
You are one with the One Real Spirit, which is Omnipresent, while everything else is transitory, like moving pictures projected on a screen.
What prevents you from realizing and understanding what is nonduality?
The restless, thinking mind, and the belief in the reality of the ego, of separate individual existence, prevent you from seeing what is beyond them and understanding nonduality.
What can help you to realize and understand nonduality?
Looking within you, and searching for the source of your mind and thoughts, where they come from, and discovering who you really are, bring the knowledge and understanding of what nonduality is.
How is this done?
Through concentration and meditation, and by learning to silence the mind, a “new” consciousness emerges.
In this “state”, you know what nonduality means.
You understand and realize it, not just through the mind, but by raising your consciousness above the mind.
When the mind is silent, there is Oneness, not “me and the Spirit”, “me and the body”, “me and they”, but just Oneness.

5 Reasons Why You Should Learn How to Quiet Your Mind

by Remez Sasson -
Is your mind constantly restless, jumping from one thought to another? This is the usual state of affairs for most people.
Most people are not aware of what is going on in their minds. It is the natural state of affairs for their mind to be constantly thinking from morning to night, without stopping for a moment.
When do you become aware of the restlessness of your mind? This usually happens when you need to focus it on something. Then, you become acutely aware that you have no control of your mind, and that it constantly running from one thought to another.
If you meditate, I am sure you are more acutely aware than most people of the restlessness of the mind. Once and again, while meditating, you suddenly become aware that your mind has strayed away and you forgot the meditation. Time and again, you need to bring your mind back to the meditation.

There are many reasons why you need to learn to quiet your mind. Below you will find five main reasons.
1. A quiet mind works better than a restless mind
When you the mind is quiet it is easier to focus it. There is no restlessness and jumping from one thought to another.

This helps you focus your attention on whatever you do, and enhances reason and common sense, and the ability to handle more efficiently the daily affairs of life.
2. A quiet mind is the antidote for stress
You cannot be stressed when your mind is in a state of peace. A quiet mind releases both mental stress and physical strain, conserves your energy and protects your health.
3. A quiet mind is essential for meditation
Suppose you sit down to meditate for half an hour. How much of this time do you actually meditate, and how many minutes do you think irrelevant thoughts?
While meditating, how many times does your mind wander to problems and worries? How many times do you think about things you need to do, about your work, family or friends?

How many times do you catch yourself daydreaming instead of meditating?
A quiet mind is a great asset for meditation, enabling you to stay focused, poised and calm.
The quieter your mind is the less it is likely to get distracted.
4. A restless mind hides your inner self
You cannot see the bottom of a lake if there are waves or the water is muddy, but once the waves disappear and the mud settles down, you can see the bottom. So it is with the mind and thoughts.
The mind is the sea and thoughts are the waves and the mud. Only when the mind is quiet you can see deep inside you and discover what is beyond your mind and thoughts.
When thoughts run non-stop in the mind they constantly pull your attention here and there, never allowing you to look deeper, but when the mind quiet, it is different.

When the mind is quiet, nothing pulls your attention, and you can see beyond the mind.
It is only when can silence your mind that you go beyond the mind. When you go beyond the mind, you discover a whole new world of calmness, happiness and power, and see the world and people in a whole new light.
5. A quiet mind is the gate to inner knowledge
The mind is a great and useful instrument but only when you go beyond it you discover your “Inner Self”.

Thoughts, desires, worries and fears hide your “Inner Self” and by stripping them away, which you do by silencing the mind, you come to realize your “Inner Self” and who you really are.

How can you quiet your mind?

Quieting the mind is a gradual process that requires inner work. There are several ways to do so. The main roads leading to it are concentration, meditation and emotional detachment.

Success with Creative Visualization

by Remez Sasson -

You can harness the power of creative visualization to help you improve every area of your life. Did you know that you use this power every day, even though you might not be aware that you are using it?

Health, success, money, promotion and possessions can be gained through the use of creative visualization. This does not mean that you will get them overnight and with no effort on your part.

Mental work and a change of attitude are essential as well as having an open mind to accept new ideas, enthusiasm and persistence and a certain degree of the ability to visualize and to focus your mind.

Suppose you need five thousand dollars.

Build in your imagination a mental image of a check for this amount, made out in your name. Visualize it clearly, as if it is really there, in your hands. Imagine yourself holding the check. Pass your fingers over it to feel its texture.

A clear cut mental image, involving all the five senses and soaked with desire and faith is a power that influences your actions and imprints itself on the creative power of the universe.

Arouse in yourself feelings of happiness and satisfaction that you have received this check. Do not think who gave it to you or why it was drawn in your name.

Imagining that you have already received the check is important. This makes the subconscious mind accept your mental image as a fact and therefore, work to make it real.

It is a good idea to feel convinced that the check came into your life in a harmonious way and that all people involved were and are benefited by it.

The next step is to see yourself depositing the check in your account at the bank. You may also visualize the entry for five thousand dollars in your bank's statement.

What will happen?

There is a good chance that the money will appear in your life. It may come through various channels. It may come as a present, winning the lottery, a promotion at work, a new job, a good investment in shares or stocks, or through other channels. Results may be immediate or delayed.

Daydreams are the first stage but daydreams alone are not sufficient.

Do not make the mistake of confusing creative visualization and daydreaming. These are two different things. Daydreaming gives some pleasure, but creative visualization and taking action bring results.

What you visualize can materialize through various ways and channels. Sometimes it might manifest in a fast, sudden and unusual manner but mostly, it manifests in a most natural and gradual manner, one thing leading to another.

Suppose you are trying to get a car by visualizing it.

After a while, you might win some money in some way or find a new job with a higher pay and so be able to buy the car. You might also receive the car as a present or get it as part of your job's benefits.

You might also decide to buy a car because you can afford to do so or because you earned money from investments in stocks and shares. The possibilities and channels are endless.

Creating Peace of Mind Tips and Advice

by Remez Sasson -

What Is Peace of Mind?
Peace of mind is a state of mental and emotional calmness, with no worries, fears or stress. In this state, the mind is quiet and you experience a sense of happiness and freedom.
Such peaceful moments are not so rare. You have experienced them in the past, at times when you were engaged in some kind of an absorbing or interesting activity.

Here are a few examples:
  • Watching an entertaining movie or TV program.
  • Being in the company of someone you love.
  • Being absorbed in reading a book.
  • Lying on the sand at the beach.
  • On vacation, when you experience some sort of mental numbness, forgetting your work and day-to-day-life.
  • In deep asleep, when you are not aware of anything.
Such activities and similar ones, take away the mind from its usual thoughts and worries, replacing them with an experience of inner peace.
The question is, how to bring more peace of mind into our life and more importantly, how to experience it in times of difficulties and ordeals.
You might also ask, whether it is possible to turn it into a habit and enjoy it always and under all circumstances. Actually, there are a few things you can do to enjoy more peace in your life.
Tips and Advice
  • Minimize the time you spend on reading newspapers or watching the news on TV. Since most of the news are negative news, and you cannot do anything about them, why should you think about them and feel stressed and anxious?

  • Stay away from negative conversations and from negative people. You don't want their thoughts and words to sink into your subconscious mind and affect your moods and state of mind.
  • Don't hold grudges. Learn to forget and forgive. Nurturing ill feelings and grievances hurts you and causes lack of sleep.
  • Don't be jealous of others. Being jealous means that you have low self-esteem, and consider yourself inferior to others. Jealousy and low self esteem, often, lead to lack of peace of mind.
  • Accept what cannot be changed. This saves a lot of time, energy and worries. Every day, we face numerous inconveniences, irritations and situations that are beyond our control. If we can change them, that's fine, but this is not always possible. We must learn to put up with such things and accept them cheerfully.
  • Don't dwell on the past. The past is not here any more, so why think about it? Let bygones be gone. Forget the past and focus on the present moment. There is no need to evoke unpleasant memories and immerse yourself in them. Learn to be more patient and tolerant with family, friends, co-workers, employees, and everyone else.
  • Don't take everything too personally. A certain degree of emotional and mental detachment is very helpful. On many occasions, it would be useful to inject a certain measure of detachment and non involvement. This would bring into your life more peace, harmony and common sense.
  • Learn to focus your mind. When you can focus your mind, you can more easily reject worries and anxieties, refuse to think negative thoughts, and reduce the constant chatter of your mind.

Inner peace eventually, leads to external peace.

By creating peace in your inner world, in your mind, you bring it into your external world and into other people's lives.

Rising Above Illusion

by Remez Sasson -

The Philosophy of Nonduality:

The philosophy of Nonduality says that there is just One Spirit in the Universe and that everything, living or inanimate, is an inseparable and indivisible part of this One Spirit.

Nonduality further says that it is only illusion, caused by the mind and the play of the senses, which makes us regard the world and everything in it, as real and separate from us.

For someone not familiar with this philosophy, it might sound strange and even weird, but once understood, it can completely change one's attitude and perspective about life.

Imagine a state, in which you feel oneness with the Universe, enjoying bliss and peace of mind and at the same time acting and functioning normally in your day-to-day life.

A state of being active in the world but at the same time maintaining a state of inner detachment. Being aware of your oneness with the One Spirit and also aware that the One Spirit is acting and manifesting through everything, matter, plants, trees, animals and people.

This is the experience of nonduality in its highest form.

Our thoughts and five senses draw the mind outside, to the external world and obscure the awareness of the consciousness that is beyond the mind.

Through meditation, we gain inner peace and the ability to silence the mind and lift up the obscuring veil of thoughts.

In this state of inner silence we rise above the illusion of identification with the mind, thoughts and ego, get beyond the illusion of separateness and realize the oneness with the One Spirit.

It is as if a new sort of consciousness dawns and we see the world in a different way.

With this kind of consciousness we are able to allow the mind to be active or silent at our command. It becomes our faithful servant, instead of being our master.

We act in the material world, yet our roots are in pure, calm and limitless consciousness, which is not attached to anything and not limited by anything. In this state, we live and view the world from the nonduality point of view.

Though in our day-today life we regard other people, as separate from us, as separate units, this is only a mental viewpoint, convenient for functioning in our day to day life.

From a higher state of consciousness, all are One, and the terms "I", "you", "he", "she" and "they" are not real. There is only the One Spirit, Consciousness, which manifests in limitless forms and ways.

The external forms may be different but the Spirit within them is one undivided Spirit. It is the mind, which lets us believe and feel that we are separate from others but we are all part of the same One Spirit manifesting and expressing itself through different forms.

The concept of nonduality is not a strange or weird idea.

It can be experienced and lived right here and now, no matter where you are and without attracting anybody's attention. It is an inner state of consciousness, not an external state.

It is possible to realize and experience the meaning of nonduality in an ashram or a cave and it is also equally possible to do so while living in a town or city, with family and a job.

This requires dedication, an open mind, inner work and turning the mind inwards.

Most people cannot afford to leave everything behind, in order to meditate and lead a purely spiritual life. They need to work and support their family and can therefore devote only part of the day to spiritual pursuits.

The good news is that you can walk on the inner path of spirituality and nonduality, meditation and self realization, without abandoning your family, job or external life style. With proper planning, it is possible to find the time and the energy for the inner work.

Meditation and walking on the spiritual path, which can lead to understanding and experiencing nonduality, can be practiced anywhere, without making external changes in your life. You can stay with your job and family, and still make spiritual progress and realize the true meaning nonduality.

Look within you, be aware of what is going in your mind, search for the source of your thoughts and where they come from, learn to make your mind peaceful and you will start to be aware of your true essence and the consciousness beyond your mind. This will lead to understanding what nonduality is.

What can help?

A peaceful mind, concentration, meditation, reading of spiritual literature and when possible, the proximity and guidance of true spiritual teachers.

Living in Pure Awareness

Photobucket

by Remez Sasson -

Nowadays, there is so much talk about Self Realization, enlightenment and freedom. We hear and read about thoughts, the mind, concentration, meditation and inner growth techniques.

People search, read, study and wander about to find the answer to their true identity and the reason they are here. Throughout the ages this movement has been going on. How many of all the seekers have found what they are looking for?

All are looking for something. There is someone seeking and looking for someone or something else. It is as if you are searching for your eyeglasses whilst you are wearing them. All you have to do is look at the mirror in order to find them.

The one who is searching is the subject and object.

The seeker is the sought.

Pay attention to your consciousness and you have found yourself. Feel your Being. It is easy. You do not have to search for anything. What you are seeking is inside you, no, it is you. It is not the body, feelings or thoughts. It is the feeling of Being, of Awareness. An explanation will now be given.

A thought comes to our mind and then another replaces it. It is a very fast process and we are usually not aware of it. When we develop a strong concentration by pursuing a suitable training course, we becomes more conscious of the thoughts and their coming and going.

The mind gradually entertains fewer thoughts per minute. Under these conditions we become aware that there is an interval between one thought and the other. It may be just a second or a split second of quietude. There are no thoughts, there is emptiness, but it is also fullness. At this moment we just exist. We are in pure awareness.

We also experience this interval without thoughts upon waking from sleep and also a moment before falling asleep.

We are usually dimly conscious of it, as we are not trained to discern it. If you try to pay attention to this moment of consciousness with no thoughts, in time it is possible become more and more aware of this state.

At the time before falling asleep and losing consciousness, thoughts and identity are dropped away, and there is no consciousness of the ego and the environment. The same thing happens immediately upon waking up, before becoming conscious of the identity as body, feelings, thoughts and ego.

This is a time of non-identification, when we just exist, not as this or that but just as Pure Existence.

This consciousness emerges when watching a beautiful sunset, or a beautiful painting for example. At a time when fear or worries drop down, you may experience this feeling again. When you are engrossed in some interesting absorbing activity you lose consciousness of yourself, but later when you think about it, you remember that you were aware of yourself but in a different way.

You say, "I walk", "I talk", "I eat", "I work", "I think", "I feel", etc'. Drop the verb "walk", "talk", "think", "feel" etc, and what remains? Just the "I". You might find it strange just to say "I", with no additions or descriptions.

It is possible just to BE, to be the "I", without any attached actions or descriptions.

There are those who are living constantly in this state of Pure Awareness. It is not a distant inner state. It is your and everyone's natural state, and it is the mind that says otherwise.

There is no reason to spend time and energy seeking some illusory "something".

All one has to do is remain quiet, calm the mind and experience and feel the quietude within. to feel that one is this quietude. Not that there is "me" and there is "quietude" but that there is just this immense, limitless quietude.

When in deep sleep we are not conscious of something in particular, and there are no thoughts, feelings, worries, or desires. There is nothing, but yet we exist. It seems like a state of nothingness, but it is more a state of "clean awareness".

Upon awakening up we remember that we experienced "nothingness" in our sleep. We had an experience and therefore there was no total unconsciousness. The experience was of "nothing", nothing in particular. We experienced emptiness. Such experiences might give you an idea of what it is to experience the feeling of "Being", without thoughts.

People enjoy deep sleep with no dreams. In this state we exist without the usual ordinary consciousness. Getting consciously and willingly into this state we are talking about, is different from sleep. The quietude, lack of thoughts and emptiness experienced may be the same, but it is full of light, happiness and power.

We can develop the ability to be aware and feel our "sense of Being".

When we do not identify with or get absorbed in our thoughts and ego, we live in pure awareness. These are lucid, real experiences for the people who manage to live in them.

The way is open for everyone.

All we have to do is to open our eyes and enter the path to pure awareness, which is actually "Self-rediscovery".

Who Controls Your Mind?

by Remez Sasson -

Few people are aware of the thoughts that pass through their minds. Thinking is performed like a habit, in an automatic manner. If the thoughts are positive, then it is all right, but if they are negative, they may cause trouble.

The mind is like small child, who accepts and takes for granted whatever it sees or hears, without judgment and without considering the consequences. If you let your mind behave as it likes and give it complete freedom, you lose your freedom.

We are constantly flooded with thoughts, ideas and information coming through the five senses, other people, the newspapers and TV. These thoughts, ideas and information penetrate the mind whether we are aware of this process or not.

This outside flow influences our behavior and reactions. It influences the way we think, our preferences, likes and dislikes. This means that we let outside powers shape our lives. So where is freedom?

Most people think and believe that their thoughts originate from them, but have they ever stopped and considered whether their thoughts, desires, likes and dislikes are really theirs?

Maybe they are outside influences that they have unconsciously accepted?

If there is no filter to process the thoughts that enter the mind, there is no freedom.

Then all actions are like the actions of a puppet on a string, though no one will admit it. You may object and say that the thoughts that pass through your mind are yours, but are they? Have you deliberately and attentively created every thought that entered your mind?

Why let outside influences control your mind and life? Why be a slave to other people's thoughts? Do you want to make your mind free or do you prefer to enslave it to other people's opinions and thoughts?

If you leave your mind open to every thought that passes by, you put our life in other people's hands, and without realizing it you accept their thoughts and act in accordance with them.

Each person is more susceptible to certain kind of thoughts than others. Certain thoughts and ideas we ignore, and others spur us to immediate action.

Thoughts concerning subjects we love have more power on us than other thoughts, but even thoughts and ideas that we don't care about, if we are frequently exposed to them, eventually sink into the subconscious mind and influence us.

Everyone has desires, ambitions and dreams that he or she may foster from childhood. They may be the thoughts of parents, teachers and friends, and which have lodged into our minds, and are carried around throughout our lives. Are they necessary? Do we need all this excessive baggage?

In order to reduce the power of outside influences and thoughts on your life, you need to be aware of the thoughts and desires that enter your mind and ask yourself whether you really like them and are willing to accept them into your life.

Analyze your motives and actions and you will be surprised to find out that many of them were triggered by outside influences.

You do not have to accept each and every thought, idea or information.

Think and find out whether you entertain certain thoughts because you decided to do so, or because they just popped into your head due to outside influences.

Learn not to accept every thought that you encounter.

Find first whether it is for your own good to follow it. It may not be so easy at the start, because the mind will revolt against this control.

If you want to be the master of your mind and life, you should not let other people's thoughts, desires and motives rule your life, unless you consciously choose so.

Success Consciousness: How to Be Positive

by Remez Sasson -

People often wonder how to be positive in their thoughts and actions, especially when they are unhappy and unsatisfied, or when life is difficult and tough. They even find it hard to be positive when things go well.

Most of them don't know how to be positive and what they need to do. Like every other subject, the know-how of how to be positive can be learned and the skill developed.

It is all a matter of attitude and thinking, both of which can be changed.

If we keeping thinking the same thoughts, they will eventually tend to manifest in our world. This means that if we desire good results we have to be careful of what we think.

We have to stay and think positive.

Begin by becoming aware of your thoughts, and exchanging your negative thoughts with positive ones. Substitute negativity for being positive, thoughts about poverty with thoughts about wealth, ignorance with understanding, disharmony with harmony and lack of freedom with freedom. Start saying, "I can", "I am able" and "it is possible".

It is our mind that creates the kind of life we live.

If we think positively we will transform our life accordingly. Everything starts from within, from the most simple action to the greatest achievement. We cannot always have control over our external circumstances, but we can control our inner world of thoughts, where everything starts.

We can't always control our outer universe but we can, with some effort, control our inner universe.

You are unhappy and negative because of how you think but you can change the way you think. With a little work and effort you can change how you think and this will you automatically change your attitude, expectations, actions and reactions, which will lead to more motivation, happiness and improved life.

How to Be Positive Steps
Focus on what you want, not on what you do not want.
Focus your mind on the good things you already have in your life. If you focus on them, these good things will increase in your life.
Do not fill your mind with thoughts of lack. Think and believe that you already have abundance, success, love and happiness.
Learn to feel, think and even act, as if you are already living the life you visualize. If you can feel, think and act consistently in this way, you will become happier, and will attract new opportunities into your life.
Think about what you want, create a picture of it in your mind, and make it very clear and precise. Hold it there and focus on it in a positive way, until it becomes a reality in your life.
Always tell yourself, "I can", "I am able", "I can do it", "I am a positive person".
Often, during the day, repeat positive affirmations about what you want. Do so with faith, feelings, intention and focus.
Look for the good in every situation. There is always something good, or at least something useful to learn, even in difficult or unpleasant situation.
Follow your positive thoughts with positive actions.
Always focus your mind on the full half of the cup, not on the empty half.
Do your best to reject negative thoughts and replace them with positive thoughts.
Be aware of your company. Choose to be around positive people.
Read about other people's success. Read things that inspire you and make you feel good.
Focus your mind on how to be positive and you will discover more ways to be so.

We get what we expect to get, therefore, begin right now to expect the very best of everything that this world has to offer - and wish the same for everyone else.

There is plenty of everything in the Universe for everyone and the Universe can create more of the good things for everyone.

Don't think lack, think abundance, for you and for everyone.
