The Art of Life; Creating Through Chaos

by  Jennifer Deisher -
There is an art to life and living, if we learn how to live it from the inside out instead of from the outside in. It requires the willingness to open our minds and hearts to our own unique, creative gifts.

More importantly, it allows us the freedom to see through the matrix of boxes and squares  and  detach ourselves from controlled illusion of our reality. Then, looking from the inside out, we  find that the reality  of creation is actually beautifully chaotic.
"Last night as I was sleeping, I dreamt that I had a beehive within my heart and the golden bees were making white combs and sweet honey from all of my bitter disappointments."  --Antonio Machado

Down The Rabbit Hole
As human Beings, we can become attached to all kinds of ideas of what we think we need to be happy – comfort, security, career, social circles. But when  we look deep within ourselves, we realize these needs  are  mostly of a material and external nature.

Although they can be alluring, the happiness we find in these  attachments and identifications is usually  temporary, as they  reflect  our relationship to the chaotic  outside world, not our personal, peaceful inner world.

Of course, when our happiness depends on conditions  outside ourselves and our control, we search for  completion  from the outside in. Then, when those  external conditions are taken away, so too is  our sense of peace and fulfilment. We have lost control over our emotional being.
But everything is upside down in this beautifully chaotic rabbit hole. In our attempt to find happiness in the  outside world, we often perceive external chaos as our lives “falling apart”, when really, circumstances are just starting to come together in our lives in ways we can’t  comprehend.
There’s terms for this state of being and several come to mind – rock bottom, crisis, despair, and/or finding the Spirit within (a process that will crack you wide open, but that’s another article in itself).

In these times, whether we can see it or not, our external attachments and identifications are stripped from us, and it is only within ourselves that we can  create  comfort in the chaos.

The Life Force

What we learn about love is backwards. We are raised believing we must search  for love outside ourselves, find someone to love us, and find someone to love. We learn that we are alone, incomplete and loveless without the love of another.
In reality, we ARE love, in its purest form. But we are  conditioned to feel  separated from  that  true nature of love, valuing only the love we receive from outside ourselves. This leaves us open to fear, as we believe that love itself can be taken away.
Love and hate (fear) are like oil and water, so when they interact on an energetic and emotional level we often find chaos  in the polarity  – an  allergic reaction if you will.

Our loving nature and our fearful conditioning can’t co-exist. Something has to give. And in that  dark and confusing place, we find rock bottom; the inky black energy of the aether, where our training and our  truth  collide.

It’s also the place where we find  our greatest opportunity  –  the  creative “spark”  to light  our  way out of the dark.
Even in our darkest and most painful times, we always have that opportunity; that  choice. It’s harder to make that choice when we are in an emotional state of change because change can feel like we’re losing something, and in uncertainty,  we  fear what may yet be.

As we shed our external attachments, the way forward  –  that creative spark  –  can only be found in the emotion of the moment, right now, not in feelings of loss (past) or fear (future).  The only way out is through.
As the old makes room for the new, our overwhelming emotions can sometimes make us feel  like we can’t go on. Fear, loss and grief are all common.  But what we’re feeling in those rock-bottom moments is actually  the stale old toxic energy dying,  not our life force!

It’s no vacation, but at the end of it, we are left with new circumstances, new energy, a new perspective. On a micro level, these  old energy patterns are being felt  and released by individuals, while on a macro level, humanity is currently reflecting the same process —  we’re at  rock-bottom, feeling the chaos of  this energetic clash, and using that spark to light creative new ways forward.
When we go into darkness, it’s  no vacation. It helps to remember:  when emotional chaos takes hold, the best remedy is simplicity.

When we simplify our lives and remove subjective distractions, it  brings us closer to alignment and objectivity. We become more sensitive  in our perceptions. We can be still with our thoughts and feelings, while also  exploring the opportunities they create.

This  will  tell you everything you need to know – even if it feels upside down (you’re in the rabbit hole, remember?)

The Big Move

First, it helps to know that we’ve done this before even if we can’t see it, or forgot how.

Through the process of shedding old energy and  creating ‘the new’, we’re changing, morphing, evolving and moving energy – the emotional kind of energy that comes with great weight, which is why the process of releasing it is  called enlightenment. (light bulb moment!)

Although the ego part of us may attach to the feeling of loss, and resist letting go of  old comfortable energy, this process of  unpacking our emotional baggage Lightens our emotional load and helps us to  align  our  energetic being  to  what our heart and soul essence is really searching for  —  change and the fear that comes with it. The whole gamut of conscious experience.
It can feel daunting, looking into our own personal rabbit hole, but don’t be scared. The darkness is part of  the great  aether which is the spiritual energy of creation.

The aehter is the “place” and the mindset where illusions are shattered, perspectives are changed, new dreams are forged, and something beautiful and honest is  born – seemingly from “nothing”.
Remember though, the “nothingness” you may experience is still something, because there is no such thing as nothing.

In the heart-felt stillness of the dark, we find the presence, openness  and creative spark we need to truly see our reality and consciously invigorate our lives,  aligning our outer world to our inner reality and desires.
So honor the darkness  for the experience that it is and the lessons it offers  your heart and mind  – and most of all,  know that it is temporary.
To make ‘the big move’ is basically  a 2-step process. First, we have to identify and connect with the fearful energy that wants to be expressed – or  released.

Most of us have an awareness of our fears and the patterns they create in our lives, even if we’re unsure how to process them and/or persuade them to move out.

This is the process that we don’t necessarily like so much because it’s uncomfortable at best.

The key is realizing that we need something to replace the fear in our heart.
When fear keeps us “stuck”, the reason we find it so hard to move is because we stop supporting  the Universe to  support us, by focusing our consciousness on the “what if’s” — what we don’t have,  what we can’t do,  what may  go wrong, and often, what other people think.

The ego’s  perception becomes about  “loss” and “want” and “fear” of  the potential future; and so we lose touch with our  natural sense of gratitude for now  —  which  is a necessary ingredient for co-creating with conscious intention.

Tthat sense of fear  is not real, it is  the  ego trying to protect itself from the worst case “what if’s” that may or may not happen  in the future, and  redirecting our attention back to familiar  patterns of behavior that may  gratify  the ego in the short term but do not serve  the Self in the long term.
Then,  when ego/fear prevents  us from trying, or even dreaming, nothing happens at all! Today or in the future… …and so, this is where we get “stuck”, going round and round trying to solve fearful problems in our heads, trying to resolve our fears with the  same  mentality that created them… more fear. It’s the emotional equivalent of  banging our heads against a  proverbial brick wall.
Ego  is  the antithesis of Oneness.

Inherently fearful of the unknown, ego  is hard wired into our biological flight-or-fight/fear response. It  views  reality in terms of  separation  and comparison to others,  blind to the bigger picture that exists  beyond its own self-oriented awareness.
The best  way to resolve the fear of doing is to DO. Go ahead and prove  your fearful ego wrong.
Sure, it can take great courage, discipline and self-understanding to honestly explore the dark recesses of our fears and ego.  But the truth  is, there is no other real option.

As we continue down this path of collective and personal  awakening, our unresolved ego/fears and their effects are becoming increasingly  obvious in our lives, and like any other unsustainable practice, we can no longer put them aside without consequence.
It’s time we cleared the space, start a fresh canvass, and show those  around us they can do the same too.

Grab a Pallette!

Our emotions ultimately tell us everything we need to know about what’s working and not working for us in our lives. When things aren’t “right”,  we experience discomfort or discontent in various areas of our life.

If we don’t allow these feelings to surface, and more importantly to guide our mind’s decisions, the  unresolved emotional energy will always find a way to be expressed, whether the ego likes it or not.

For many, the ongoing denial and apathy to  such challenging  feelings can  culminate in a ‘dark night of the soul’,  where the emotional veil suddenly drops and the  full range of emotional energies demand  that we feel them, and  heal them, at once.
In these times, we may not like what we see when we look at the canvas of our life. Reflecting on our fears and most painful experiences forces us to be aware of the fearful, unloving, or desperate decisions we’ve made in our lives.

We may not like the landscape we’ve painted, or the details in the background, or the truth about what we’ve emulated from our fear but we can change it, move it, enhance it, and color it in.

First we need to step back and really see the canvas objectively – without ego  – and feel the message within it.

Our pain, discontent,  anger and regret are  all  perfect indicators that we are settling for something  in our lives that is not aligned with our true Being. Exploring and acknowledging the whole spectrum of our feelings is  the first (and most difficult) step to  healing them, and starting over, creating through the chaos.
In order to unravel the effects of our feelings and experiences in ego  and  fear have  caused  on our  energetic landscape,  it’s a case of going back through the darkness in order to see the Light.

That’s the duality – Light doesn’t exist without dark, and the only way out is through. Follow the light.   Sometimes that means we have to stop, look, and listen in order to find a heartfelt stillness enabling us to truly see what our heart, and the universe by extension, is trying to show us.
Then, when we confront our true human and spiritual nature head on and “survive” the truth of our dark side (even though our ego feared  we would perish!)  we emerge with a new clearer perspective  — ready to create  a more honest, simple, joyful, meaningful, enriching, experiential kind of life.

The kind of life  that is perfectly aligned to the  inner Being we have come to know so well. The kind of life that is  impossible to create  while  the ego has us convinced  that what we want for ourselves is always somehow  out of our reach.

Colour in the Dark

Let’s be honest, our darker feelings of fear and chaos aren’t exactly  easy to look at up close and personal. We learn to keep our fear hidden just beyond the periphery of our conscious  awareness in order to stay “sane and functioning”.

The ego’s mode of operation is like a secret agent in stealth mode encouraging the turbulence of our fear. Its very purpose is to make us aware of our own fears and/or limitations taking us into the darkness of the aether.

The  darkness only obscures our view, hiding a blank canvass of infinite potential. We have something the ego doesn’t though — color, light and shade which equates to every imaginable outcome.
Creating something *NEW* is the best way to release emotional baggage and re-color our lives into a canvas we can’t wait  to claim as our own and share with the world.

If we allow ourselves to fully experience the dark side of our emotional existence, we can use that experience as both a motivation and a tool to create new experiences, new relationships, and new outcomes.
Our creative juices move in synchronicity  with the universal flow  of creation when we allow  ourselves to be  guided by our hearts.  As we release our fears and overcome the  urges of the short-sighted  ego, we  learn to listen to our heart and to our inner  guidance.

The dreamer’s dream comes to life before our very eyes and it mirrors back to us all that we truly are  – beautiful, colourful, and unique Beings of light, consciously co-creating  our own canvas,  and transcending the darkness of the aether.

Fun and rewarding, our existence suddenly becomes a vibrant colorful life when we make the choice to embody the art of life, with all its light and shade and open ourselves to experience its endless, beautifully chaotic possibilities.

Getting to Peak Performance

by Lynn Banis PhD -

Are you tired of slugging away and not feeling you are operating on all cylinders? Are you feeling stressed and full of anxiety If you are, that is getting in the way of you operating at your best.

We all want to be able to sustain our peak performance but it seems illusive and out of reach. Our best does not have to sap our energy, instead it should be creating energy in us.

We should be in a state of flow where we are moving forward effortlessly. If this is not happening for you here are suggestions to help you get there.

FIVE PERFORMANCE SUGGESTIONS
  • What are you doing to be and stay healthy?

As simple and repetitive as it may sound, this is a mainstay of doing your best. You must take good care of yourself. Eating right, sleeping enough and attending to you physical, mental and spiritual needs are all important. They help you create balance in your life and you need that to perform well and consistently.
  • What do you think about yourself?

Is you self-esteem healthy and strong? What is your self-talk? It needs to be positive, supportive and encouraging. If not, it is liable to be dragging you down with negative thoughts and comments. Your critical inner voice is your own worst enemy. Do not let it be a shaping force in your life.
  • How well are you able to focus?

If you are frustrated, anxious and stressed your focus will not be good and you will not be able to perform as well as you would like to.

Frustration, stress and anxiety cause negative emotions to flood your brain and get in the way of it being able to function rationally.

You want to relive your frustration, anxiety and stress to be able to function at a high level. Peak performance is about exceeding expectations.
  • Have you set stretch goals for yourself?

You know, goals that are reasonable and attainable but that require you to learn and grow so you can reach them?

Attaining our stretch goals help us to exceed the expectations of others and keep us on our toes so we can perform and higher levels. They help us to grow and to be at our best.
  • Are your values and goals in alignment?

If not you will miss out on high performance. You values drive your actions and they must be able to support your goals. This is a source of motivation for you and it keeps you going even when times are tough.

These five suggestions are just the tip of the iceberg as far as peak performance is concerned but they are good foundational things that you need to be doing to get on your way. If you get these in place you will find that peak performance is within your reach.

Creating Your Dreams from Your Heart

by Molly McCord -

Some things in life are absolute and true.

A few of them are:

  • You are powerful.
  • You have unlimited gifts and talents.
  • You are loved beyond measure.
  • You are here to SHINE.
  • You are here to bring all of your dreams into fruition.

Regardless of what you are experiencing in 'human terms' at any time, your spiritual essence is always ready to take you somewhere higher, deeper and more loving.

Your spiritual Self is always willing to expand and connect you with your heart's desire. Everything begins in spiritual form before it comes into physical form.

It is essential to keep your thoughts and intentions focused on what you want to create. You don't have to know the "how" or the details. You just need to know the end result, first.

The process of creating your dreams begins with the energy of the end result.

  • Visual the energy coming together above your head.
  • See it moving down through your body.
  • Imagine it sitting in your heart space, glowing, beating, strong.

Your heart energy is the fastest way to connect to your highest intentions because it holds Love. Create from a place of Love and your dreams will benefit as many people as possible.

Success with Creative Visualization

by Remez Sasson -

You can harness the power of creative visualization to help you improve every area of your life. Did you know that you use this power every day, even though you might not be aware that you are using it?

Health, success, money, promotion and possessions can be gained through the use of creative visualization. This does not mean that you will get them overnight and with no effort on your part.

Mental work and a change of attitude are essential as well as having an open mind to accept new ideas, enthusiasm and persistence and a certain degree of the ability to visualize and to focus your mind.

Suppose you need five thousand dollars.

Build in your imagination a mental image of a check for this amount, made out in your name. Visualize it clearly, as if it is really there, in your hands. Imagine yourself holding the check. Pass your fingers over it to feel its texture.

A clear cut mental image, involving all the five senses and soaked with desire and faith is a power that influences your actions and imprints itself on the creative power of the universe.

Arouse in yourself feelings of happiness and satisfaction that you have received this check. Do not think who gave it to you or why it was drawn in your name.

Imagining that you have already received the check is important. This makes the subconscious mind accept your mental image as a fact and therefore, work to make it real.

It is a good idea to feel convinced that the check came into your life in a harmonious way and that all people involved were and are benefited by it.

The next step is to see yourself depositing the check in your account at the bank. You may also visualize the entry for five thousand dollars in your bank's statement.

What will happen?

There is a good chance that the money will appear in your life. It may come through various channels. It may come as a present, winning the lottery, a promotion at work, a new job, a good investment in shares or stocks, or through other channels. Results may be immediate or delayed.

Daydreams are the first stage but daydreams alone are not sufficient.

Do not make the mistake of confusing creative visualization and daydreaming. These are two different things. Daydreaming gives some pleasure, but creative visualization and taking action bring results.

What you visualize can materialize through various ways and channels. Sometimes it might manifest in a fast, sudden and unusual manner but mostly, it manifests in a most natural and gradual manner, one thing leading to another.

Suppose you are trying to get a car by visualizing it.

After a while, you might win some money in some way or find a new job with a higher pay and so be able to buy the car. You might also receive the car as a present or get it as part of your job's benefits.

You might also decide to buy a car because you can afford to do so or because you earned money from investments in stocks and shares. The possibilities and channels are endless.

Being Heroine of Your Own Journey

by Laura Grace -

Currently, I am involved in a feminine empowerment program. It is a program I chose for the continuation of my spiritual, soulful and emotional evolution.

Although the course is founded in wise feminine leadership principles, the curriculum is challenging me to seriously ponder the true meaning of what American journalist and playwright, Nora Ephron, once declared:
“Above all, be the heroine of your life, not the victim.”
It’s clear what it means to take 100% responsibility for our lives but what exactly does it mean to be the heroine of our own lives?

Most of us are familiar with Joseph Campbell’s teaching of the “hero’s journey.”  Like the main character in the film “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,” the hero ventures forth from the world of common life into a region of supernatural wonder.

There he encounters fabulous forces and a decisive victory is won. The hero returns from this mysterious adventure with the power to bestow boons on his fellow man.

Although I have always been fascinated by the hero’s journey, I often felt something was missing. That “something” was revealed to me in 2012 when I invited Dr. Jean Houston to be the keynote speaker at the Central Coast Annual Women’s Symposium.

While giving an impassioned speech based on her book The Wizard of Us, she asserted,
“By the way, the heroine’s journey is very different than the hero’s journey.”
Now that caught my attention. For as much as we have sometimes tried to emulate men, we women are very different.

In fact, neurobiology reveals that women’s brains are hard-wired in a uniquely different manner.

Dr. Daniel Amen, who’s written over 30 books including Unleash the Power of the Female Brain (2013), shows that women’s brains are very active; the amount of blood flowing into our frontal lobes hard-wire us for collaboration, appropriate worry, intuition, self-restraint and good judgment.

Most importantly, we intuitively know when something is wrong and are willing to shift gears before the Titanic hits the iceberg and sinks.

This isn’t about whether a feminine approach to life is better than a masculine one; we need a balance of both energies in order to thrive.

The heroine’s journey does differ greatly from the hero’s journey. And one of the greatest variances is how we choose to travel.

Unlike the hero who strikes out on a solo passage to conquer his demons, women recognize that stepping into their feminine power requires aligning with a collective field of support.

Many of us have been trying to do “life” on our own which can only take us so far.

How many times have we felt alone in trying to share our gifts with the world, overwhelmed, or unsupported by life?

In order to shatter our inner glass ceilings—the limiting beliefs and behaviors that sabotage our success—we need to activate a new culture of empowerment which necessitates a shift into a collective quantum field.

It’s a known fact that geese fly 75% farther and faster when they are flying together. Solo passages cannot carry us the distance. When we are soaring as a self-actualized woman, we must activate a field of unprecedented support.

This is, perhaps, the most essential part of the heroine’s journey.

We begin to create a unified field when we affirm:
  • I AM ALLOWING LIFE TO SUPPORT ME ON MY JOURNEY. THIS INCLUDES ALL OF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE OPEN TO RECEIVING THE GIFTS I DESIRE TO CONTRIBUTE.
  • I AM FULLY PRESENT IN HOLDING THE SPACE FOR OTHERS TO EVOLVE AND TRANSFORM.
  • I AM LETTING GO OF OLD STORIES OF REGRET, SETBACKS AND DISAPPOINTMENT AND CHANNELING MY ATTENTION, INTENTION AND ENERGIES ON WHAT IS AVAILABLE FOR ME TODAY.
I invite you to step into your own heroine’s journey by bonding with others inside your identity as a powerful and resourceful woman.

May we join together in support of our highest potential for loving relationships, physical health, emotional well-being, financial abundance, creativity and friendship.

May we birth the seeds of our potential forward as we journey together and answer the call to our souls’ deepest purpose.

The Principle of Harmony and Rhythm

by Julia Fairchild -

This principle is strikingly illustrated by placing a handful of iron filings on a thin sheet of metal and playing a certain musical note near the sheet. Wondrously, the filings arrange themselves into a pattern. Change the musical note and the filings rearrange themselves into another pattern.

Every sound has its vibrational pattern, and the visible filings demonstrate the invisible pattern of the sound.

Our thoughts are like the sound and the circumstances in life are like the iron filings.

The filings have no volition or will of their own. They simply fall into the vibrational pattern of the sound. In the same way, automobiles, money, food, jobs, and relationships have no particular will of their own. Their nature is to follow the direction of the waves of thoughts that we radiate.

Some say, "Look what I created!" Another way that could be said might be, "Look what I attracted!" The word circumstance neatly depicts the process; circum means around; stance means stand.

Circumstances are the conditions that stand around us, magnetized to us by the central core of our thought forms. Change the thoughts at the center of the energy field, and we change the conditions that stand around us.

There is a basic rhythm to all God’s creations – including us.

We notice it when we are quiet enough to listen. Each of us has a natural rhythm. Life is simple when we hear, feel and follow in harmony and rhythm.

Meditation visualization improve the ability to hear, feel and become more sensitive our inner self and the world around us.

As we practice being quiet, the inner self teaches us and we will see that miracles are natural expressions of love.

Often a piece of music is called beautiful because of the interplay and harmonious synchronization of the notes.

In fact, some music (such as Baroque) can actually program our format a person’s brain to facilitate learning. This harmonious interplay extends beyond the music for our ears.

The infinite intelligence of the universe is behind the rhythm and harmony we need in our lives.

As we become more practiced in using these principles, we realize the natural guidance is always there for us, forming a life into a divine pattern.

To increase our harmony and rhythm, we can increase our understanding of the information we receive from our five basic senses: touch, sight, taste, hearing and smell. Then we can become more aware of our other senses, such as intuition and awareness of energy.

When we are in harmony with these principles we draw upon the powers of nature or heaven. We are aware that all is in harmony; that all things work together for our good.

When we react to anger, confusion, anxiety, or fear in another person, we encourage the other person to believe he is presenting the truth. Another response could be to disregard the illusion the other person is expressing and see him as perfect and joyful.

We occasionally fall into the temptation to perceive ourselves as unfairly treated. We can be treated unfairly only by ourselves. We are only victims of the world, if we think we are.

Rather than what others or the world do to us, it is what we believe they have done to us, or what we believe we have done to ourselves that make up our problems.

Deprivation is the feeling we experience when we feel we are isolated or separate. We then project blame, anger, hate to others. They pick up the signal and play a part for us so we can feel that our anger, hate, or sadness is justified.

This signal is a vibration we radiate in our energy field. It’s somewhat like a call to others to come and play with us.

The signals we emit are received, processed, and reacted upon by those seeking that signal; they are tuned in to our broadcast, our vibration.

The ability to draw conditions to us has tremendous practical implications.

It means we can use our thoughts to create the life we want. It means we can really change for the better.

It means that things no longer have power over us, for we realize that they are just the manifestation of our thoughts, and nothing more. They are thought forms reacting to the signals we project.

The principle of Harmony and Rhythm is perhaps best expressed in the magic of music.

Music is a powerful influence in our daily lives. There are three basic ingredients of music: melody, harmony and rhythym. Melody and harmony are universal in nature.

The solar system maintains its order because of the vibrations of each individual planet. They comprise a chord of music which is unique to our place in space.

Rhythm belongs to the earth.

It is the method whereby a song is broken up into measures and notes are assigned different values of time. It is the rhythm or beat of a song which involuntarily sets your toe to tapping. It is the ingredient of time.

There is another ingredient of music which is absent in some music.

When it is present, it changes lives.

Even plants and animals respond to it. What is this fourth ingredient?

It is LOVE!

When music contains this element, it performs miracles! It sets into motion natural forces which begin a tumbler-like action, a turning of the tide in the lives of people.

Research into the science of sound, or vibration, helps us understand that creating music requires the interaction between the right and left brain.

In a very real sense, music transcends the mind and goes directly into the heart! It can be a powerful way to access the ability to feel for those who have endured so much pain that they have dissociated from life and become "past feeling."

While listening to music can penetrate even the hardest heart, the activity of creating music, expressing oneself through music, develops a person’s ability to organize creative thoughts and to express them effectively.

It doesn’t seem to matter whether that creation of music is in the form of humming a tune or in performing in a concert. Feeling will happen!

Researchers have studied Baroque music to discover why it is so powerful in assisting in learning.

The combinations of notes, and the patterns of music create order in the brain in much the same way a computer formats a diskette to implant a grid or map which will allow information to be stored in a location where the computer will know precisely where to go to retrieve it.

Why is order so important?

To create is to organize that which is unorganized. There is no judgment between order or chaos; both are necessary to the process of growth and creativity. To make use of the information we accumulate throughout our lives, we need to be able to retrieve it.

If there is no order, no system for storing and retrieving that information, it is much like a file cabinet with no separate folders – just piles of stuff. We know it’s in there, yet we aren’t able to find it.

People with Alzheimer’s disease are losing this grid pattern, this map for how to store and retrieve information. Remarkable results are being achieved with Alzheimer’s patients through the use of music technology.

An interesting phenomenon is occurring.

The elements of the earth, the minds and hearts of the people on the planet are beginning to polarize. There is a gathering of order, a gathering of those who follow the principles which created our universe.

There are multitudes of people making a choice for order. What is left is chaos; that which is in conflict with order.

Each person is responsible to make conscious choices about the level of vibrations which influence them.

When all our levels are in alignment (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual), we are in tune.

We will feel in alignment with the universe and the principle of harmony and rhythm. We will have once again aligned with the "one song."

Interconnected Creativity

by Molly McCord -

Whatever you create within yourself, you create more of in the world.

It's all interconnected and intertwined, a continual dialogue of energy of YOU with US and EVERYONE ELSE.

So when you look at how you can be more courageous and loving and peaceful and happy within yourself, you've just created that same energy for everyone else to tap into, too.

It's never only about you; that's not even possible. It always branches out to US.

So what do you want to create today?

What can YOU offer US that is uniquely, brilliantly you and it will connect with EVERYONE ELSE as part of our global story?

It always begins with energetic intention.

Check in with your intention first and get that straight. Get it solid and clear. Then go from there.

I've watched MANY people with wobbly intentions experience wobbly results and get sidetracked by their Ego-Minds intentions. Doesn't work. Things don't line up. It all falls apart because the ground was shift-y.  Back to the starting point you go.

The simplest place to start is with respect for everyone you connect with or simple kindness or joy - let's pass around the joy!

Maybe it's creativity or positive energy. Whatever feels right for you, go with that for today and create more of it.

It absolutely matters more than you know. People are looking for the good vibes from well-intentioned energies.

The Power of Visualizations

by Evette Gardner -

I’m what psychologists would classify as an introvert.

I live in my head talking to myself, contemplating curiosities, asking questions, going over my things gone wrong trying to understand how I could have made them right, imagining better and more fulfilling possibilities for my life experience (that one comes up a lot)…

For as far back as I can remember I’ve had the effortless ability to involve myself so deeply in an imagined experience that I can essentially tune out the outside world.

I have always been a very skilled daydreamer.

So if all it took to turn my dreams into my reality was the steadfast visualization of the experience, I would have married Bo from The Dukes of Hazzard, been best friends with Jo from The Facts of Life and would have been able to fly after taking three steps like Ralf from The Greatest American Hero all at the tender age of six.

Who knows what other extraordinary things I could have accomplished after that had I actually been successful at turning those visions into actual physical experiences at such a young age.

Imagination is the fount from which possibilities are drawn from.

Visualization is very influential in shaping what finally emerges from this pool.

The power of visualization to transform dreams into reality, however, is about more than an adept ability to immerse yourself in the visualized experience of a desire.

Understanding what this something more is, is knowledge each of us should have because visualization is one of the many tools at your disposal which is particularly suited to calibrate the tone of the energy that envelopes you.

We are all wearers of energy, so to speak.

And it is this energy that you wear which determines what you attract into your life experience.

Therefore something we all need to ask ourselves is am I dressed appropriately to meet my dream life? Unfortunately the answer for many of us is all too often no.

So why was it that I never married Bo Duke anyway? What got in the way (besides the obvious)?

Well to put it quite simply, reason prevailed over imagination. This is because away from my fantasies I knew Bo Duke wasn’t a real person, I knew he was just a character on TV.

I also knew that though, on the inside, I felt myself to be just as intelligent, mature and sophisticated as any adult, on the outside I was still six years old. And six year old girls didn’t go around marrying grown men.

So while it was certainly fun to sometimes pretend to be all grown up and raising sand as Mrs. Bo Duke of Hazzard County, I understood that my dream wasn’t actually possible. And there it is. That’s what got me. I was a victim of my own doubt.

My lack of faith is what got in the way of my dream’s fulfillment.

No I’m not succumbing to delusions when I say this because even though I know now, just as I knew then, that it was not literally possible for me to live in a fake town and marry a fictional character who was way outside the bounds of being age appropriate for me.

Had I had faith (not in the specific storyline of my dream but) in the feelings that imagined experience inspired in me I could have attracted things into my physical reality (even at six years old) that would have reflected and reinforced the emotional experience of that fantastic possibility.

I could have lived the feeling of that fantasy even though it was not possible for me to live the situation. The lesson to be learned, don’t be so literal about your dreams.

Don’t get drawn into the belief that if it’s not possible for your physical reality to exactly mirror the circumstances of your dreamy musings that your dreams can’t come true.

That feeling of adventure; that feeling of imagining myself to be loved by someone who I perceived as kind, decent, fun and really really cute, which to my thinking could only mean that not only was I so special as to be worthy of such a love but that I must also possess those qualities too for having attracted it.

That feeling of high-spirited confidence could have been mine had I just had absolute faith in the feeling of my experience; had I worn the energy of that mindset away from my imaginings and had not simply dismissed it the instant my inner dalliances were over.

You wear the energy that your life experience reflects, so you need to be conscious of what you choose to put on.

For example, you may dream of being a successful architect. How do you then turn this dream into a “waking” life experience?

The answer is by wearing the energy of that reality; by running a narrative in your mind which is reflective of your imagined scenario.

Meaning if you were a successful architect what kind of dialogue would be running through your mind right now?

Picture that scenario then run that script. Think those thoughts. Evoke and wear that energy. And keep wearing it until it starts to feel not only plausible but completely natural to you because the more your wear the thoughts of your desire, the more convinced you will be that it actually suits you.

Then as you become more comfortable with this energetic experience in your imagination you will be better able to assess what your idea of being a successful architect entails emotionally.

You will be better able to assess if this feeling is something that you would like to keep for a while.

If the answer is yes, realize and acknowledge that you are absolutely deserving of this experience. And even above and beyond that, you have the ability to treat yourself to its full expression in your physical reality because there’s nothing compelling you to take its energy off.

You can keep it. Wear it as long as you like. And your wearing this energy is what creates its manifestation in your waking life experience.

The experiences you attract in life are a reflection of the tone of the energy you choose to radiate from your being.

This choice is made with the type of thoughts you entertain and the degree of faith you assign to each of these considerations.

That is to say that it is your thoughts, in combination with your beliefs, which work to calibrate the tone of the energy you wear. And it is the energy you wear that attracts to you the situations you experience in life.

So what are you wearing?

  • Are you dressed appropriately to meet your dream life?
  • Are you thinking thoughts which are consistent with the type of experiences you would like to attract in your life?
  • Are you wearing the energy of your aspirations?
If the answer is no, know that you have the power to change that.

You have the power to imagine a different and more pleasing life experience for yourself and in that, draw to you that which you would otherwise find yourself chasing after.

Imagined reality is just as real as waking reality. All of what happens to you, whether in imagination or in waking life, is real to you because all of it is influential. You first design in mind what you later put into practice in life.

Yet most of us tend to approach our waking experiences in the mindset of this is real and our imagined experiences in the mindset of this isn’t real. But this is wrong.

Even if reality were just about what you can see or what you could touch, these standards would not exclude the realm of imagination from reality because you do indeed engage all of your senses even in imagination. You merely engage them in a different, often more subtle, way.

Waking life, dream life, daydreaming life, it’s all a part of your experience.

Each landscape merely offers a different type of experience. Yet and still each has the potential to be just as profound as any of the others. It all depends on you and your willingness to treat whatever is before you as if it’s real.

The deeper your faith is in your experience, the more profound your experience will be.

There is little more you could do that would be more powerful than to wholly acknowledge and accept that all experience, whether waking or dreaming, is but an inner construct, your mental projection.

Everything happens in mind and nowhere else.

So hush the skeptic within you that likes to proclaim that imagined experiences are less real, less valid than waking experiences.

Embrace the understanding that even if you can’t touch your aspirations out there, that you can touch them here (in your imagination).

This understanding gives you the power to always think of your dreams as happening in the present moment. So if what you want is not before you out there, you have the power to put it before you in here.

All you have is Now.

The past is but a fleeting memory, the future merely a wealth of potentials and possibilities.

The only thing of any real substance is Now. Now is where you create your experience. Now is where you live your experience. The only power you have is Now, so seize it.

Be open to and accepting of all the levels of your experience.

Value the realm of your imagination as the creative force behind all that happens to you in life. And make it your mission, therefore, to learn to be a good steward of your mental landscape.

In order to do this you need to understand the tools available to you which design your inner scene and set the tone of the energy that emanates from you; both how these tools work and how to wield them effectively.

Visualization is just one of these tools.

The purpose of visualization is not the mental rehearsal of the events you would like to transpire in your life. Understand that all events are merely a means to an end.

The purpose of visualization is to get you thinking with a mindset that is reflective of the emotional experience you want to realize in life.

Having achieved this, the rest is promised to take care of itself.

But only if you place your faith in the feelings inspired by your visualizations, as opposed to the incidents you imagined to help inspire those feelings. Let that part of your fantasy go; the part that says, this, this and this must happen in order for me to realize this feeling.

Keep your attention trained on the result you want to achieve, not the actions you think will lead to that achievement. Live in the space of the big picture. Give life the freedom to chart its own course on route to the destinations you have set for it.

Going back to our example, in dreaming of being a successful architect what might you be hoping to gain emotionally in realizing this dream?

A sense of fulfillment perhaps. Maybe freedom from any hint of financial concern. The challenge and thrill of designing a space to meet a purpose.

Whatever the emotional payoff, know that whatever imagined scenario you come up with in order to evoke these feelings is good. But don’t get attached to these imagined events.

Keep your attention on the energy of your imagined experience and trust that whatever does play out in your waking life is in the interest of creating a physical expression of this same energetic feeling.

Like attracts like.

As long as you have faith in the energy, the emotions, produced in your imagined experience, you command the power to replicate it in your waking experience.

It may be that thinking of yourself as a successful architect is what evokes the feeling of fulfillment, freedom, challenge and thrill you crave in imagination, but life may have something else completely different in store for you which will inspire these same feelings.

Leave yourself open for surprises. Have faith in the energy you have created.

Trust the tide this energy has you riding on, it will always get you to where you want to be but only if you believe.

There may be other ways of living the experience you desire for yourself than what you have imagined. Be allowing of those other possibilities.

Know that as long as you’re wearing the energy of your aspirations, you will draw to yourself nothing less (actually it’s very often more) than the fantastic possibility of what you have dreamed.

So let’s boil all this down to a few simple points.
  • JUST REMEMBER
Now is all you have so think now; be now all that you aspire to be. And it’s okay if you have to pretend because imagined experiences are just as real as waking experiences. Both have the power to impact you.
  • LET’S TRY AN EXERCISE
Envision the most satisfying experience you can imagine for your life right now, and then wear the energy of that experience by thinking the kind of thoughts you would think if it were fulfilled in this moment, and by thinking with a mindset that is grateful for the good fortune of your dream come true.
There’s something about the spirit of gratitude that seems to accelerate the blessings we receive in life. So in adding gratitude to the fabric of the energy you wear you will increase your energy’s attractive power and thus draw to you the things of your desire that much sooner.
  • STAY MINDFUL OF THIS
The events and situations you imagine in your fantasies are significant only in the sense that they are what inspire the emotional experience of your dreams. Don’t get attached to these scenarios. Realize that they’ve serve their purpose if they’ve stirred you to feel like the person you aspire to be, then let them go.
Place your faith in the energy (the feeling) inspired by your imagined experience, not the literal scheme of events you’ve invented. Always leave yourself open for whatever wonderous turns life may bring.

Energy, energy, energy; it’s all about the energy.
Tune your energy (by evoking the emotional experience of your desire), wear the energy (by believing your experience is real), and trust the energy (by going with the flow of whatever comes your way in life).
  • WHEN IN DOUBT
If you’re ever in a space where you find yourself doubting that life is indeed unfolding in a way which will have you meet your dreams, consult your energy.

Know that as long as you are dressed appropriately, bathed in the energy of your aspirations, that despite all appearances to the contrary you may rest soundly in the faith that everything is going to work out okay.
