Here is the Stillness

by Gloria Wendroff -

Heaven Letters:

Listen well to the silence within you. Within the silence are all the answers you are seeking. You understand, I am speaking of the silent Known yet Unknown within you. It cannot be seen. It cannot be heard except as your heart hears it. It speaks volumes to you, beloveds, this silence in which all is contained.

The Knower Knowing Himself

Within this Silence of the Unknown, there are no facts.

Leave facts to the encyclopedias. Leave facts to the auditors. Facts are of no use to you in the limitless Unknown which carries the name of Truth. Within the silent Unknown are all the answers, and yet to what questions are the answers?

Here, within the seeming Unknown, details and questions are not. Let Us call the silent Unknown the Really Known. We can call the Really Known as The-Unseen-Yet-the-All-That-There-Is-to-See.

Let Us call the relative world the known and the Unknown the Divine Celestial, which is the Knower Knowing Himself. Here is where all is known. Here is where Truth lies. Here is where you reside, and here within is the Unknown but Known and the Unseen but Seen.

Your mind craves to know what your heart already knows. Your mind wants all the information and whys and wherefores. Your heart already knows all that exists above the details that the world finds so significant. The world makes much of what, which from a vaster perspective, is nothing at all.

Talk about a tempest in a teapot! The world is filled with teapots filled with raging tempests, which are, when all is said, much ado about nothing.

Come to the calm sea within you where I AM.

Here is the Stillness and here is Truth and here you are as well, you who knows all that matters and knows it very well.

Come back to that Silence. Enough running around outside you for a while. Come back to the Calm Ocean. Enough churning the waves. Enough flapping wildly. Come, sit down with Me.

In this silence of Ourselves, you will know all that I know and that is Everything, everything that matters, that is.

Simply Know

It is not like you will think: "Oh, this doesn't matter." You will instantly, instinctively, intuitionally know All That Matters. You will not pick and choose. You will simply know.

The world may very well be bewildered by what you know. It is good for the world to know that it is bewildered. The world has had times when it was sure it knew everything to know, taxes, laws, government, and such. The world knows controlling all right, but it does not always know true governing, beloveds.

True governing doesn't come from control. True governing does not dangle rewards or penalties before you. True governing comes from a higher place. It comes from consciousness. Of course, it does. On what plank are you sitting right now? Let consciousness rise so high that each individual within the Oneness governs himself.

Laws have not stopped theft. Laws have not stopped crimes. The Ten Commandments have not stopped all they command. The Commandments are guidelines for a world that seems to need guidelines. Raise your consciousness, and you will not need laws and its relatives.

Consciousness comes first, beloveds. Closeness to Me comes first.

Intention

The only way to be tall is to be tall. You may not be able to be physically taller than you are, yet you can contribute to the height of your consciousness. Have the intention. Have the intention to come from a high place where you can only live with love and consideration for all.

Emotional Acceptance

by Jennifer Hoffman -

You understand the concept of acceptance in spirit, where you allow each person to be in their own energetic vibration and know that each one is vibrating at their highest potential in each moment.

It is necessary to bring this understanding to the level of the emotions for this is where the energy becomes stuck and is unable to move.

The emotional attachments you have to outcomes, to others, to beliefs and to desires is what requires release to bring you into harmony with the spiritual growth that you achieve through your healing work.

The emotional energy of the earth experience is dense and fear-based and it is the density of this energy that allows it to collect in multiple layers in your consciousness.

Each emotional experience has an energetic imprint that becomes encoded in your DNA and can be released through your healing work.

It is this imprint that feeds your desire for closure, restitution, resolution and an outcome that responds to your expectations. Embedded in this imprint is lifetimes of emotional experiences that form the layers of your emotional body.

Emotional acceptance occurs when you honor the emotional energies that you and others carry and allow them to be transmuted through the removal of judgment and expectations.

This removes the imprint and all of its lower vibrational energies, as well as your attachment to it. Without the imprint you are able to be in acceptance of all emotional energies, yours and those in your soul group.

You remove the connections to your expectations and allow yourself the freedom to accept others' choices of emotions as theirs, without being connected to them.

Your emotions are never bad or wrong, they are simply your representation of the earth's energies as you experience them through your emotional body.

Accept these energies as a physical experience of your soul's journey and become the observer. Each person has chosen to heal a specific emotional vibration that they must experience. Learn acceptance and you can resist the urge for attachment, to change them and transform their emotions.

The lesson of releasing attachments is one that all of humanity is learning and with it comes the release of the density of the emotional energies and the opening for the higher level energies that come with acceptance in all things and freedom from fear.

Our Energetic Soul Resonance

by Nancy Leilah Ward -

Waves of energy are emanating from the center of the Universe and as we open to receive this energy, our lives and the totality of our beings expand. With this expansion comes, as always, release of that which is not in harmony with the resonance of our Soul.

As we expand into our new lives—no matter how subtle that may be—we can use our energetic resource to stretch into and fill the new space we’ve created with the vibration of what brings us happiness.

Our energetic resource is unique and individual to each of us, just like our energetic signature, which is a resonance of energy that comes from our soul. Our energetic resource is our vitality, which is activated by focusing on what we love.

THE SOUL LEVEL

We are being called to know ourselves at the Soul level; to bring our Higher Self into our being and to fully embrace who we are with the glorious, loving presence of the All That Is.

As we love ourselves and accept ourselves fully and completely, and as we tune into our unique resonance, we open to receive the energy of love, for the waves of energy emanating from the Center is love.

Self love is the place to begin from.

Feeling into our unique soul signature helps us to reconnect to a love we were born into this life with. Intend to love yourself and as the energy that is not in resonance with the truth of your heart dissipates, you will become more and more clear. This clarity enables us to recognize feelings that are not our own.

We are releasing energies from our past and this includes feelings from other people that we took on as our own, because at the time we were too young to know the difference. We’ve lived with these feelings all our lives but now they make us uncomfortable, like a discordant note disrupting the music of our souls. It’s important to pay attention to these feelings.

The tricky part is that they are so familiar; we may still think they are part of our truth. We have been like sponges, absorbing all the energies around us since early childhood. The vestiges of these energies are loose and flapping like rags in the wind of change.

Let them go. Let them fly away as you stand in the truth of yourself.

COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS

The clarity we are gaining also helps us to recognize energies that are from the collective consciousness in the world.

Sometimes we may feel a shift of energy—perhaps feelings of worry, depression, fear or simply a heaviness in spirit—filter into our beings for no apparent reason.

I have come to realize that often these vibrations are in the outer world. It’s like walking through a mist of energy.

The feeling of disruption may not be coming from us, they could be the feelings that others are emanating into the earth’s aura.

It helps to question whether the vibration is coming from you or not. We often mistake the energies around us for our own – as we did when we were children. The surges of energy can bring up our deepest fears and anxiety. These feelings go out into the energy of the Earth. They are magnetized to each other and actually create clouds of vibration.

Question what is yours and what is not.

Remember, just as the feelings of fear travel throughout the Earth’s aura and magnetize and grow larger, so does the vibration of love. We have the emanations from the Creator to help us amplify the love vibration.

Many people are experiencing abrupt shocking change to the extent that their lives will never be the same. This is like an “upside the head” wake-up call from Spirit. We can assist by holding the vibration of love and softness with a prayer that these people open to the Divinity within themselves and find comfort there.

FREEDOM AND HAPPINESS

Many are also experiencing a feeling of suspension - they know a change needs to happen but they don’t know where they want to go or what they want to do. There is a feeling of life being on hold until all the pieces fit together.

Allow yourself to be in this place of stillness and connect with what brings you a feeling of freedom and happiness – go into the feeling, without words, connecting to your energetic resource.

Send the feeling through your body, out into your aura and expand it out into the world, then let it go and trust that events and connections which resonate with your energetic resource will come back to you.

As we cross the threshold into more clarity and expansion we may encounter Demons who challenge us with our deepest fears. These are the threshold guardians, giving us the opportunity to deepen our commitment to living our heart’s truth, by seeming to block our passage into our expansion. Remember you are a spiritual warrior — get out your sword and cut those Demons down!

It is time to be firm with the voice that puts us down, criticizes and brings us into fear.

Tell it in no uncertain terms to be gone. We aren’t listening to that anymore; we no longer believe that about ourselves. We are empowered in the fullness of our being, filled with love and joy—and the light around us and the love we feel is the energy of creation that we came into this life with. It feels light and free and happy.

A friend was telling me that things are going so well in her life and she’s moving into expansion with grace but she finds her mind looking for something to worry about. It’s like we are so accustomed to worry and fear that when we move out of those energies a part of us is looking for something familiar, even if that something doesn’t feel good. This is why it’s important to be firm when those voices – or energies - of the past try to reassert themselves.

As we learn to focus our attention on what feels good, those voices will get further and further away.  The mind wants to hold onto the old ways but it’s like we’re in a river and it’s best if we can release into the flow and enjoy the ride. We are navigating ourselves into the Center of Creation.

THE FULLNESS OF OUR BEING

Another aspect of this expansion is heightened telepathic abilities. This is what we are growing into. This is part of the fullness of our being. When the thought of someone pops into your head, send them a greeting and a warm feeling – as if you are meeting in the physical.

It is essential to learn to trust our intuition – to trust the impulses we receive and to follow the energy that feels good, creative and energizing.

We are babes being born into the truth of our being. The past few years have been like the compression of the contractions of labor.

At times, I have felt like I was being squeezed – and all the “juice” running out was rather toxic stuff that I was ready to let go of. It was the stuff of untruth that was clogging me up, making me heavy, sapping my energy, making me feel sad, pointless, discouraged.

Many people are feeling this compression as the high energies blow around and through us. This can be a painful process, so it helps to ask for assistance from your guides and from professional counsel. Energy work and body work helps to move the energy out. Also, spending time with those we love, laughing and sharing meals with friends helps us to move through this process, so don’t forget to have some fun.

CONNECT AND TRUST

To deal with the energetic shifts and changes, listening to the feelings in our heart and soul helps us to stabilize in the moment – this means connecting to our deepest truth through knowing ourselves and trusting our feelings.

As we all know, NOW is all there is and the times we’re in are challenging us to remain present, alert and focused. Know that you are loved and supported through the deep changes in these times of miracle and wonder.

The Language of Your Intuition

by Claudette Rowley -

How many times, when we hear a foreign language for the first time, are we struck by the interesting sounds coming from the speakers - even if we don't understand what they're saying? How quickly do we then begin ignoring those sounds because what we hear doesn't spark comprehension?

Identifying and deciphering the language of intuition that's chattering away in our minds can be an equally foreign experience. Yet learning the translation key can bring abundant understanding and opportunity.

Where can you find the key?

Start by tuning into more obvious intuitive experiences: a song lyric that pops into your head, a gut feeling or a recurring dream. Intuition is largely a form of sensory knowledge - a sixth sense that's as available to you as your sight, hearing, taste, touch or smell. Just like the other five senses, it's a knowledge that has little to do with your mental capability.

Becoming acquainted with your intuitive voice is a personal experience and usually involves expanding your perspective of intuition.

Unfortunately, it's rarely as conventional wisdom predicts - that intuition will come in dramatic "flashes" that are so obvious we feel as if we've been struck by lightening, hit over the head with a two-by-four or heard angels sing.

More likely, intuition shows up in the dialect of the ordinary, often taking the form of a fleeting inner comment, such as "I really should call Ken and tell him about my new business idea," or "You know, every time I drive by that restaurant, I feel compelled to stop" or "I should look through that pile of mail."

How easy it is to dismiss these seemingly benign thoughts because the thoughts come without the context of why each thought is intuitively important. Or, worse yet, those thoughts are followed by our inner critic, eager to jump in with "Now there's a stupid idea."

How can I start to recognize and listen to my intuitive dialect?
  • Pay attention to fleeting inner comments. Follow the direction of these messages and see where they lead you. For instance, today I got a sense that I should go through a stack of mail. I did, and found a long-awaited check that I had missed when I flipped through the mail just a day earlier.
  • Notice repeated experiences, such as three people recommending the same book to you in the space of a week. That's a sign that you should run out and get the book.
  • View intuition as a sixth sense - use it as you would your eyes, ears, nose, mouth or skin.
  • Practice asking your intuition a question and listening for an answer. Then have patience. The answer may come immediately, or it may not arrive for several days, weeks or even months.
  • Observe your body. The body is incapable of falsehood; if it gives you a message, it's best to listen. An acquaintance recounted a long-standing internal pull to move to the U.S. Whenever she resisted this urge to move from her home country, she literally felt punched in the stomach. Once she made the decision to move, the stomach-punching stopped.
  • Use your energy levels as a barometer. As your energy rises, plummets, and centers you, what do you notice? For many of us, energy can serve as an intuitive gateway, and a useful way to heighten our awareness of our intuitive dialect.
Start learning the language of your intuition today.

Listen to the information your body, heart and soul share with you. Just as learning a foreign language will allow to communicate in new places, deciphering the dialect of your intuition will transport you to whole new worlds.

You have all the tools you need to learn your own intuitive dialect. With practice, you'll be fluent!

10 Secrets to Choosing Joy

by Dolly Mae -
1. MAKE A JOY LIST.
This gives you scheduled time to focus on joy. This is so incredibly simple that most of you reading this will think it’s too silly to do. But it is one of those life-changing things that is incredibly effective.
2. BEGIN APPRECIATING ANYTHING.
This little thread will become a lifeline to joy. When you decide you’ve had enough of an undesirable feeling, you can begin to shift immediately by changing your focus to appreciating anything. Appreciate one thing, anything, then more things, until you all you feel is the vibration of appreciation.
3. LOVE A THING.
When you are hurting and finally decide you’ve had enough you can love the pain away. Once you make the determination to be done with the pain you can use any method possible to shift your awareness into one of love.
It may be music, poetry, spiritual books, walking in nature, meditation or journaling. By shifting your focus, you allow yourself to move into an altered state, altered from the downward spiral you were in. You literally step into a clear space in which you choose your next feeling.
4. GIVE AWAY WHAT YOU NEED.
When you’re hurting and in pain find someone else to whom you can give what you need. When we give away what we need, physically or emotionally, we have recognized at a deep internal level that we already have it within ourselves, or we wouldn’t be able to give it away.
5. SHIFT YOUR FOCUS.
Whatever you focus on you get more of. This is the Law of Attraction. Attract what you’d prefer. Surround yourself with humor.
6. CREATE A WELLNESS PLAN.
Plan for your health on all four levels of your being: Physical, Emotional, Mental and Spiritual.
7. CREATE A PERFECT DAY.
Choose a day that becomes Christmas like in its expectation of joy and perfection.
8. REMOVE THE LABEL.
Whatever you call the energy, anger, guilt, fear or something else, tear off the label you have given it. Beneath it is pure raw energy. Use it to feel good, heal yourself or get energized.
9. BECOME A SCREEN TO EMOTION.
Allowing them to pass thru you. When you feel a wave of emotion coming toward you, you can choose not to clamp down, not to hold your breath. Just let yourself bend like a tree in the wind.
Open to the experience and imagine yourself, your whole body and being, becoming like a screen door. Let the emotions sweep through you without attaching to them and getting stuck in them.
10. CHOOSE JOY.
It is always available as an option. Choose it by first remembering times of joy in your life. Then BE it. Become joy. Feel it. Exult in the feeling.

Hidden Powers

by Avalon De Witt -

In every moment each of us is given the choice to love or to fear. A simple choice one might think. But in this world with violence, terrorism, war and disease becoming every day life for so many is there anyone who hasn't struggled with fear?

Discover the Hidden Power in Your Fears

Whenever we're about to make a major leap forward in our spiritual development, fear always steps into our path. It's the antagonist in all our personal stories. It's true that we attract what we fear.

The more we fear a thing, the more likely it is to happen and if left unchecked, fear can take control of our lives. Yet, everything has a purpose and fear is no exception.

There is good reason to be afraid of some things.

Fear is a messenger that warns us there may be danger ahead. Its purpose is to guide us toward actions that will protect us as well as our loved ones. It is natural and healthy to feel fear. But like other natural tendencies we have, we're here to master our fear.

We all wish that life could be stable.

We imagine that we would feel safe and comfortable if we could make life remain static, or secure. But without dangers in our lives we cannot live to our highest potential, and we never fulfill that potential without learning from our fear.

Of course, you don't want to take it too far. You don't want to be so engrossed in your fear that you become consumed by it. But there is a balance to be achieved between that extreme and its opposite - avoiding, denying, trying to be unafraid. Avoidance of fear is our greatest barrier to spiritual growth and happiness.

When we try to avoid or deny our fear in the hope that we can just be rid of it, it usually gets worse. Shutting out fear invariably shuts out the choices and blessings that could take us to the next level of our soul's development.

Fear is very much like quicksand.

The more you fight it, the deeper you sink. Embracing your fear is akin to relaxing in quicksand so you can stop sinking. Until we face our fear head-on, and embrace it, it will dominate us..

Carl Jung said,
"The psychological rule says that when an inner situation is not made conscious, it happens outside as fate."
Fear that is ignored takes up residence in our souls, and draws experiences to us in which it can exercise itself. We then find ourselves face to face with the same fear-inducing experiences again and again.

The result of this is that our ability to exercise our free will becomes hampered more and more every time we let fear take over. This can create extremely stubborn blocks in our spiritual progress, and can harm us physically, mentally and emotionally.

Avoiding fear blocks us from the joy we could be experiencing and blinds us to the Divine Light in our soul.

When we begin the journey toward embracing our fear, we begin a healing process that leads us inevitably to our true Selves, the Self that is Divine. The whole point of life is to come to know ourselves as a part of that Divinity and to reunite with that Truth within.

An Opportunity

When we are afraid, we are being blessed with an opportunity to learn, to grow, to see and hear the world more clearly. Fear shows us the ways we hold ourselves back. It also provides us with an energy which we can transmute into power within ourselves.

Don't be afraid of fear. Do not reject it or push it away.

Instead, reach out to it. Love it.

When you show compassion and tenderness toward your fear, you transform it into a strength, a courage that eventually becomes the seat of peace in your soul. This is what gives spiritual masters their peace. Nothing can sway them from their centre because they have transformed their fear.

Fear is the seed of courage. Even Jesus Christ experienced fear. It's what we do in response to our fear that makes the difference. That's where love comes in.

Love is fear's perfect polarity.

Love is ever-present throughout all eternity. Compassion for your delicate, fearful self always leads to freedom from fear. Love transforms fear. There is a magic that is sparked when we give love and tenderness to our fear.

When you focus on love, its ability to touch you grows.

When you send out love, it always comes back to you larger than it was when you sent it. And when you love in fear's presence, fear vanishes. Just like when you shine a light into a dark room. It pervades that darkness, fills it up and turns it to light.

So let your fear come to the surface. Whatever fear you may have, whether it be large or small. Don't fight it; just sit with it and get to know it. Ask it what it is trying to tell you and listen to what it may be asking you for. Let yourself be moved by your fear's needs. Let your heart break for your fear.

Deeper Understanding

Ask God for a deeper understanding of your fear and for a deeper understanding of the truth of love. Let compassion and tenderness flow through you, replacing any previous judgments you may have had about your fear.

Assure your fear that you hear it, that you will take care of it and its needs will be met. See yourself wrapping your arms around your fear in a loving embrace.

Feel your fear dissolving into your inner light.

Once you are in contact with your fear, and have found understanding of why it has come to you, you can take right action. This is the way to own your fear and take personal responsibility for finding your own inner peace, no matter what your circumstances. This is not an easy path but it is easier than the loss of Self that you would experience otherwise. Remember that life is a gift.

Life will bring its ups and downs but peace is something you can experience even in the midst of chaos.

Gateway to Spiritual Consciousness

by Owen Waters -

Love is the saving grace of all of humanity.

We contact this primal energy in our finest moments. From the moment a baby is born, it is enshrouded in the unselfish love of its mother. From the moment a person springs into action to save others from peril, their own thoughts of survival are 'overlighted' by the love and caring that shines from their heart.

When a person dies and reviews their life, they see that one thing that mattered the most: Love. Pure, unadulterated, unconditional love. It is the source of compassion. It is the energy of caring for others. It is the binding force which holds together the entire universe, and it flows through you whenever you simply allow it.

Love is the gateway to spiritual consciousness.

It is through activation of the spiritual heart that we pass into a whole new world of expansion and joy. In the realms of spiritual consciousness, we find peace, bliss and continual inspiration. In the realms of spiritual consciousness, we expand our view of life to see the issues that are important to the soul.

We can then see how love can heal and how we can and should spend the time to spread a little more love in the world every day, even if it is simply done in silent prayer for the well-being of others.

Let your heart open to love each and every day.

Start the day in meditation and prayer for the healing and well-being of others and you will invoke a beautiful flow of natural energy through yourself. It truly is a great way to start each day because it sets the tone and the energy flow for the day.

When you are attuned to the natural flow of love throughout the universe, you then feel the natural flow of energy within your own universe. Your senses of insight and timing develop to help you achieve more and to succeed easily at the tasks that are important to you.

The flow of love is critical to life.

Without the love of the Divine Mother which fills the universe, nothing would exist. For centuries, humankind has been playing a game where love and inner inspiration have been blocked off and ignored. Today, the tide is turning and people are opening up to this wonderful flow of natural energy.

Remember the love within, especially when outer circumstances seem dark. Remember that love is the gateway to the higher realms of consciousness where answers can be found to meet every challenge that life presents.

Tune into love.

It will never let you down. Instead, it will set your spirit free to explore the realms of consciousness which offer greater vistas of awareness, greater peace of mind, and the sense of ever-present joy.

Break Through Limitations

by Guy Finley -

Here's a strange paradox of the upward path that runs through Real Life: the more conscious we become of what limits us, the more limitless becomes our reality!

So, take as long as you need to understand the following special lesson; it sheds much needed light on a certain dark state that stands between us, and the higher freedom for which we long.

The sole purpose of discouraged feelings is to keep your thoughts on what you can't do. And with your attention fixed in this fashion - on what seems impossible - there's no room for discovering what is possible - for what you can do.

In other words, the only thing discouraged states do is to keep you busy doing nothing except feeling sorry for yourself... which is the perfect guarantee that your situation will remain hopelessly the same. Enough is enough!

You don't have to put up with one more discouraging moment, let alone a life limited by its darkness. There's another choice you can make besides falling into those familiar feelings of being a "failure." The next few insights will empower you to start thinking about old discouragements in a new way.

Whenever we suffer over what we aren't able to do, create, or work through, where is our attention in these moments? It's riveted on our own thought-produced reality that's telling us we're stuck! Maybe you can recognize some of these heavy-hearted inner voices that come with being victimized by such dark thoughts.

In one way or another, they say . . .
"I'll never get out of this mess."
"It's too late!"
"I'm too set in my ways to change."
"This is hopeless."
Now on the surface of things, these all-too-familiar whispers of defeat -- that speak to us with our own voice -- seem genuinely concerned about our unwanted condition. But a deeper look tells a much different story. These troubled thoughts are part of an unseen "conspiracy of limitation" taking place in our own consciousness!

Follow the next four ideas to their stunning conclusion. They prove that self-illumination and self-liberation are one and the same power.
1. The more these gloomy voices talk to us, the more discouraged we feel.

2. The more discouraged we feel, the more certain we are there's no other choice but to feel that way.

3. The more convinced we are that we have no choice, the less choice we have.

4. The act of identifying with this dark inner dialogue actually produces the dead-end we fear!
And so it goes: now we're convinced of our own captivity! There's no way past the limitations we perceive as being real. The key idea here lies in the word "perceive" because it rhymes with deceive. That's just what this perception is: a secret deception. Here's the liberating proof... There are no dead-ends in real life.

Of course you must prove this bright fact to yourself, and here's a good place to start: in any given moment there's always something higher to do with your life than to sit there and suffer over what you think you can't have, do, or be.

Why wallow this way when a small amount of interior work will forever change how you see reality? For instance, see that the 'size' of your discouragement is directly proportionate to how strongly you insist that life must conform to your demands. Verifying this self-imposed limitation empowers you, immediately, to let it go and start over.

Here's another example: maybe you've felt discouraged because you wanted to learn something new - a higher skill or a difficult lesson - but felt sure that certain limitations of yours placed this possibility beyond your abilities. Now you can do something much higher than just resign yourself to feeling discouraged.

Instead of falling into those familiar feelings of futility over yourself, deliberately drop those discourage-filled thoughts telling you the limit of your present view is the limit of your possibilities. Who you have been matters only to those dark states that want you to remain that way so that they can continue to rule the day.

Refusing to dwell in the world of discouraged thoughts and feelings is the same as opening the door to a new world without limits. Just start working with who you are now!

In other words, do what's in your power and refuse to be discouraged about anything else. Keep repeating this new action one step at a time until you've walked away from the whole false idea that there's no further you can go!

Key Lessons

Here are three special key lessons to help you strengthen and then actualize your wish to live in a world without limits:

  • Any conversation you permit yourself to have with discouraging thoughts guarantees you'll wind up with a good reason for feeling discouraged.

  • When you know that what you're looking for is what you already are -- and not what you may become -- you stand on the threshold of the limitless life.

  • The universe itself is actually set up for you to succeed with realizing the limitless life, which means you are made for whatever happens to you!

Releasing Attachments

by Kerry Needs -

Release your attachments and be free to create:

We can all get attached to the outcome of one thing or another, especially when it's uncertain. I'm sure you know people who are so attached to something, they feel that if it doesn't turn out they way they want, they won't be happy. In fact, they place their whole source of happiness on having that thing work out correctly.

Sound familiar?

Whether its a job, a relationship, a possession, a person- we often hold on so tightly to that one thing that we exclude the possibility of other options.

Think about the balloon in the picture. If the person still held on to that balloon, what happens? It means that they are less likely to be able to catch other things that come their way. And the same goes for our expectations for particular outcomes.

It's great to have a positive expectation (like for example that you'll get the job you applied for), but if that attachment becomes all-consuming then you lose sight of the many other possibilities that might be right in front of you.

When we learn to let go of the things that might make us happy, even the really important things, paradoxically you begin to feel happier.

Why?

Well if you are attached to that particular job, person or situation, control is out of your hands- you're depending on something else for your fulfillment.

There's also another reason to let go of attachments - they evolve over time.

Nothing stays the same and that outcome you want now will always change. Our desires are forever growing in the need for self-expression and if your greatest attachment now is fulfilled, what then? Yep, you guessed it, there'll be another one there to replace it.

Once you let go of the need to be attached to how a particular event will turn out, you will feel in control of it all - and your happiness will depend on you.

Quantum Physics and the Shift

by Marie C. Barrett -

Quantum physics is showing us that we have entered one of the greatest paradigm shifts ever recorded in the history of modern man. A twentieth century visionary, designer and author, by the name of Buckminster Fuller, devoted his life to answering a fascinating question, "Does humanity have a chance to survive lastingly and successfully on planet Earth, and if so, how?"

The answer to that question has huge ramifications for every one of us alive on the planet at this time.

QUANTUM REALITY

Most of the workings of all the science of the twentieth century was invisible to the human senses, but our experience of that science has been none the less real. The impact of such technologies as electricity, telephony, radio, TV, internet and electronics is clearly undeniable.

The age of solid mechanics is giving way to a new understanding of quantum reality. Quantum physics describes matter in terms of energy particles possessing a consciousness in accordance with the nature and function of the energy form.

Where once we thought all matter was observable and objective, we now know this matter is an energy consciousness, interconnected and holographic. Every form of consciousness impacts all other consciousness. Quantum theory has changed the way we understand ourselves and our universe.

The fluttering wings of a butterfly change the universe forever through the dynamic ripple effect they produce in the realm of energy.

Even the slightest disturbance of initial conditions of a nonlinear dynamical system grows exponentially. This disturbance projects outwards with apparent randomness, thereby supporting aspects of chaos theory in physics.

I only mention such esoteric theories to demonstrate the relatively new focus of quantum physics on infinitely small quanta of light energy, unrecognizable in the science of the recent past.

We are far more complex than we ever realized and live in an energy universe swirling with waves and particles, creating, transmuting, discreating, morphing and in the midst of all this, we humans are discovering our role in this creative universe.

If humanity has achieved such enormous strides in awareness and scientific discovery in these last few decades, how much more will we discover in the near future, given the exponential nature of our learning. Is it possible that we have just touched the tip of the iceberg in understanding who and what we are and the role we play and will play in the life of the universe in the future?

LAW OF ATTRACTION

One thing we do know, that amid the chaos there is order. Within the unpredictability, there is purpose. That the energy set in motion by our thoughts cannot be stopped and must follow its course. We manifest what we energize by our thoughts, focus and expectation, experiencing the effects of our creations according to the Law of Attraction, the Law of Polarity and the other universal laws now dawning on mainstream consciousness.

In fact, we are already experts in manifesting what we focus on. The sad reality appears to be however, that because many of our programmed beliefs are based on negative ideas, most of us manifest lack instead of wealth and happiness in our lives. Once we truly start to practice creating consciously and with focused intent, we will be able to create our proverbial heaven on earth.

The power of our mind to create and manifest, to determine what we experience as reality, is an amazing and exciting study. We have as yet untapped its potential.

What will be our experience when we learn how to use the dormant 90% of our brain? In relation to just this one revelation of our human potential, I suggest we have a thrilling and wonderful future ahead.

It is my hope that day dawns sooner rather than later, that we make that quantum leap in conscious awareness that will herald the Shift and Ascension of the consciousness of humanity into higher dimensional consciousness.

CRITICAL MASS

We are striding towards critical mass, towards that instant when the relatively few will tip the scales of awareness for all humanity. The momentum now building exponentially towards a quantum leap in consciousness cannot be stopped.

We have, each one of us, become aware of the necessity of change. Humanity’s innate desire to be more than we presently are, is the driving force sweeping us up in its wake. The countdown to our evolutionary leap is well and truly under way.

How can you help advance this Shift in consciousness?

Live in the present moment. Be the observer of your own thoughts, listen to the silence between your breaths and develop your awareness of infinite life yearning to express itself through the wonderful person you are.

The Shift is at hand and we are privileged to witness and embrace it but it must begin for us within our own heart.

Secrets to a Happy and Motivated Life

by Dr. Annette Colby -

Whether you want to lose weight, end emotional eating, overcome stress or move beyond sadness and depression, creating any major change in your life can create feelings of discomfort. You are here, and you want to be there. As enticing as the outcome of your goal appears, you cannot instantly jump into a happy, motivation filled life.

Instead, achieving happiness and success means that you have to venture out of your comfort zone into an unknown journey. On your path between here and there, you will most likely face many obstacles, experience setbacks and failures, feel emotions you don't want to feel, and discover you must learn strange new ways of thinking, acting, and behaving if you want to reach your outcome.

One-step at a time you walk across the middle ground between where you were and where you are going. This middle ground tends to feel shaky and unknown. You may stumble along with unsure footing wondering if you will ever feel confident again. One of the secrets of achieving a happy outcome requires acknowledging and understanding that the changes you are asking yourself to make will be uncomfortable.

Your success rests on planning ahead to give yourself the tools and support you need to make yourself feel safe even in the midst of change and uncertainty. The following strategies are designed to help you find that trust and self-assuredness when you are in the midst of creating your happy and motivated life.

MOTIVATIONAL STRATEGIES

Acceptance of Your Journey

Whenever you are feeling uncertain, stop and take a moment to breathe deeply. Take several deep, slow breaths. When you breathe, you allow yourself to come back to center and your inner resourcefulness. From center, you can regain your larger perspective about the importance of the changes you want to make.

You can remind yourself that you are in transition because you made the conscious choice to experience more happiness. You are not a victim of this change, and no one forced you into this decision. Although your journey from here to there may not be an easy journey, remind yourself that the joy and success you want to experience is important to you.

It's Okay to Fall, But Get Back Up Again

When you are walking across the transitional middle ground between where you were and where you want to go, there will be times when you may feel uncertain and doubtful about your ability to have what you want. Perhaps you encounter a roadblock or obstacle, or perhaps the amount of effort you must put forth on a daily basis was more than you bargained for. You will consider quitting.

The question becomes, when you want to quit, will you curl up, tell yourself you can't have what you want, or desperately pray that someone comes along to rescue you? Or are you going to gather up all your courage and find some way to gain motivation move forward once again?

It's okay to stumble and fall, we all do it at one time or another. It is even okay to lie in the dirt for a while. What is important is that you remember that you are still on your path, still facing forward, and you can still have what you want. What is the one step you can take right now that will serve to raise your level of motivation higher?

Choose Faith

Have you ever heard the expression, "Feed your faith, not your fears." I love how this phrase can boil down a complicated situation into a very simple choice. Use this phrase to perform a reality check on yourself.

When you feel doubt or fear, are your thoughts and actions helping to build your self-confidence that you can have what you want, are they causing you to go further down a dark spiral of negativity and despair? The issue is not whether or not you will experience fear.

Fear is a natural by-product of going on your goal journey. The issue is how you will deal with fear when it shows up - will you feed faith or will you feed fear?

Get Support

Your journey between here and there is your own unique experience that you must navigate on your own. No one can take the journey for you, and no one can pick you up and drop you off on the other side. The journey itself is what offers the strengths, insights, wisdom, and joy that you are looking for.

Therefore, you must walk our own path - but that doesn't mean you can't hold hands with some friends for a awhile. Meet with a nutrition therapist, life coach, friend, or advisor on a regular basis to keep you motivated. Your support people can help you though periods of self-doubt and instability and remind you that being able to feel more happy and motivated is what you want most.

Words Are Powerful

Be acutely aware of the words you use. Do the words you speak to yourself empower you or leave you feeling powerless? Are your thoughts self-supporting or self-defeating? Do you encourage yourself when things are going well and when things are difficult?

Learning to motivate your self with positive, self-affirming, resourceful, and loving language is what allows you to feel happy and gain motivation to take each next step. Look into your own eyes in the mirror and speak kind, persuading words. It is up to you to provide the motivation you need to achieve success.

Take A Risk

Change requires you to move from your smaller, confined circle of comfort to one that is larger and more expansive. To achieve ultimate success, you will need to move beyond the edges of your comfort zone.

Like Columbus sailing off to explore the edge of the ocean, you too are exploring unknown new territory. Allow yourself to be a beginner again - this is how you grow and transform. If you take a risk and fail, learn from the experience and adjust your actions. Just don't give up!

Create A Ritual to Honor the Change

Symbolically acknowledge your journey by creating a ritual to honor the growth and changes you have been making. A ritual can be anything metaphorical that has meaning to you.

Perhaps it might be burying your scale, donating all your larger clothes, giving your diet books to the local library, a celebration of your journey with friends, or even listing all the things that have been holding you back on little strips of paper and burning them.

Take some sort of physical action to acknowledge the path you are moving along. Doing this creates a deeper sense of meaning and importance to your daily actions, and raise your motivation level. You develop respect for the transition that you are engaged in. A ritual may help you close a door that you are ready to close.

Get a Transitional Object

Your ability to feel happy and keep motivated can also be increased when you carry a transitional object. Your transitional object can remind you of your successes so far, and keep your vision on your overall goal. The object could be something that reminds you of your journey, or it could be an item that provides comfort.

Link your sense of touch to the feeling of being happy or motivated. For example, think of how a toddler is able to comfort itself with a stuffed animal or blanket, or how rosary beads can help move thoughts back into love. Find your own transitional object that you can touch, stroke, or hold to remind you of the importance of your journey and provide you with motivation to continue forward.

Below is a list transitional objects you could easily carry in your pocket or on your body:
  • Small smooth stone
  • Crystal
  • Special necklace
  • Ring for your finger
  • Sea shell
  • Symbolic lapel pin
Your goals to end overeating, lose weight, overcome stress or move beyond sadness and depression are important goals. Congratulations on your courage to move forward and make a better life for yourself.

Use these tips and suggestions to keep yourself motivated, feeling happy about the changes you are making and believing in yourself. Although your path may seem shaky at times, you truly can live the life of your dreams.

Guiding Principles from Nature

by Dr. Mary Beth Ford -

We seek many things in this world to bring us happiness and inner peace. We set goals and work hard to achieve them. But in doing so, we often neglect our inner needs--the desires of our spirit. We struggle with the push-pulls between inner and outer worlds. Quiet time alone renews us and helps restore our life balance. Solitude is not a luxury.

We all have a need for solitude--for quiet time alone.

Only in solitude can we know our true selves. Only in solitude can we know our deepest thoughts and feelings. We begin to understand our life purpose and the special gifts we have to share in the world. But we need quiet to hear our inner voice and receive guidance.

How can we expect wisdom from within if we're never still enough to listen? We must preserve time in each day to meet this need for stillness. We must renew our efforts daily to create a center of peace within.

Nature shows us the link between solitude and creative expression.

From nature we learn that our creative work in the world requires time for inner growth and change. Seeds receptive to nutrients from earth, rain and sun become the lovely blossoms of our gardens and flower boxes. Tasty nutlets forgotten by squirrels transform into the mighty oaks and beech trees that grow in our forests and provide welcome shade in summer.

Millions of bulbs planted each fall evolve into graceful daffodils blowing in the wind and announcing spring's arrival. Creative expression is a mystery. It comes from the longings of the heart. Times of solitude make known your heartfelt desires and release your deepest fears. You emerge prepared to share your gifts with the world.

Solitude benefits body, mind and Spirit.

Quiet times alone bring us back in touch with who we really are. They relieve the stress that afflicts body and mind. Daily responsibilities create what seem like insurmountable obstacles to a peaceful solitude. But we pay an enormous price for ignoring our inner needs.

Solitude is not a luxury to be enjoyed only during vacations. We cannot store up its benefits in some spiritual account for withdrawal during the rest of the year. What matters is that we resolve to set time aside each day to honor and nurture our inner selves.

The challenge of how to care for the soul in the midst of life's busyness requires an individual solution. Simply put: What do you enjoy doing that quiets your mind and feeds your creative center? These activities are not luxuries in your life.

They allow you to pay attention to your inner needs for a while. In solitude you will discover the life balance that you have desired for so long. Let planning for peace and not pressure become your guiding principle.
