A Lesson from Nature

Photobucket

by Thich Nhat Hanh -

I asked the leaf whether it was frightened because it was autumn and the other leaves were falling....

The leaf told me, "No. During the whole spring and summer I was completely alive. I worked hard to help nourish the tree and now much of me is in the tree.

I am not limited by this form.

I am also the whole tree and when I go back to the soil, I will continue to nourish the tree. So I don’t worry at all. As I leave this branch and float to the ground, I will wave to the tree and tell her, ‘I will see you again very soon.’"

That day there was a wind blowing and after a while, I saw the leaf leave the branch and float down to the soil, dancing joyfully because as it floated it saw itself already there in the tree.

It was so happy. I bowed my head, knowing that I have a lot to learn from the leaf.

Manifesting Reality

by Todd Werner -

How We Make Things Happen:

At some level, each of us has always known that we have attracted people, things and events into our lives based on our thoughts. The recognition of that is in our daily speech, such phrases as:
"What you put your attention on grows," "Be careful what you wish (pray) for," etc.
Thought is a quick, light, mobile form of energy that manifests instantaneously. It is now time in our evolution to consciously embrace our divine nature and to truly experience what has always been promised to us:
"Ask, and it shall be given to you."
For me, manifesting is an active form of prayer in which we are more consciously aware and focused. It is what many call "co-creating."

As many of us now know and understand, we are, along with the rest of what we see and experience, made up of a miraculous interchange of vibrating waves of energy.

When we create something, we always create first in thought form. One law of energy is that energy of a certain quality or vibration tends to attract energy of a similar quality and vibration.

Another important law of energy is whatever we put out into the universe is attracted back at us:
"As you sow, so shall you reap."
Which means, whatever we think about the most, believe in the strongest, expect on the deepest levels or imagine the most vividly about, shall be our experience.

I would like to briefly offer an outline of my interpretation and suggestions as you move toward a clearer understanding of manifesting.

We know that our thoughts and feelings can alter our energy field and influence the collective experience of others. We are in a constant state of co-creating with the Divine whether we are conscious of it or not.

Some early books which described the process of manifesting were oriented to obtaining more possessions and satisfying the ego's desires. I believe this has been a necessary experience for us in the previous millennium as we began to recognize and appreciate our ability to co-create.

However, as we evolve our understanding and remember who we are and our purposes here on earth, we can begin to consciously manifest our gifts that each of us bring.

This paradigm shift along with this higher energy can now focus on transforming the world and ourselves for a higher purpose that reflects and expresses our souls desire(s). Here are a few tips as you venture toward consciously manifesting.

11 Manifesting Reality Tips

1. Know that you unconditionally deserve love, attention and miracles because you are a perfect creation of God.
2. Find time to be quiet. Amidst the clutter and chatter of our minds and everyday life, it is very difficult to listen to the gentle messages that our soul gives us. Many people have lost touch with the inner direction that we are constantly afforded.
It is then no surprise that we do not know what our true desires are. We are then left to listen to the constant demands of the ego, which eventually leaves us disappointed and feeling empty. Throughout the day remember to breathe and remember your Spirit.
3. Instead of getting caught up in what you have created in the past, you can decide right now at this moment to start creating more of what you want in life. You don't have to seek anyone's approval or permission in order to claim your Divine Birthright.
Your divine inheritance is abundance, peace and your ability to create what you want. Your soul knows that these things make up it's true existence.
Choose now to accept these things as being part of existence at the personality level. For as you bring more of these qualities into your own life, you will be serving the Divine by making it easier for others to follow your example.
4. It is important to set goals. Discover what you specifically want to create in your life that serves to bring you joy while serving others in some capacity.
Do not focus on what you don't want or want to get rid of in your life. Remember, what you put your attention on grows. However, be a little flexible and allow the Universe to guide you along paths that may bring you more than you have asked for.
It is perfectly natural for goals to change and evolve as you grow and evolve.
5. Visualize achieving your goal and experience the feeling, like it has already happened to you. Remember that we operate within the time/space illusion of the physical world. However, within our Sacred Space there is no such illusion.
6. Continue to send your creation positive energy. Outside your meditation times, you can focus on your goals in a clear and relaxed way during parts of your day.
It's important not to feel like you are striving too hard for it, or put an excessive amount of energy into it, which tends to hinder things rather than help.
7. Let it go. Let go of your desire to control or affect the specific outcome. Once you get an intuitive feeling that it is developing into a certainty, stop asking for it.
Develop a faith that the universe immediately conspires to construct your vision, which happens in a way and a time that is for your highest good.
We need to recognize that our attachment to the outcome comes from our ego.
Our soul intuitively knows that we are never separate from our Creator, and everything we need is streaming toward us, now and forever.
8. Be aware of the guidance you are receiving that follows the manifesting process and be willing to follow it. If you are feeling stuck, ask yourself: "What guidance have I received that I'm not following?"
Guidance comes in so many different ways which usually follows a pattern, such as "stumbling" across a book at the right time, a message that directly speaks of your condition unknowingly delivered by a friend or stranger, a song, a feeling, etc.
9. Be Grateful. Many of us don't stop to recognize the blessings we have in our lives in this moment, and acknowledge that what we have in our lives right now has been created by us. When we put our energy into recognizing our gratitude, we honor the creative process that we are a part of and develop a sense of reverence for everything in our lives.
Gratitude raises our energy to a higher vibration, thereby enhancing our ability to manifest.
10. Don't be afraid task for help and guidance from the spiritual masters that you relate to, such as Angels or your Guide, Jesus, Buddha, God or Goddess, etc. Think of yourself as a team member within the spiritual realm. All members of that team are working and helping to achieve a common goal.
11. Remember, everything you need to fulfill your purpose is inherently in your reality right now. Be patient and loving to yourself as you discover your power and connection to everything. Most importantly, remember that your soul can not fail!

Clarifying Your Boundaries

fences

by Helaine Iris -

Is it Inside or Out?

I listened intently as my client described how lousy his past week had been. Up to that point in our work together his progress had been steady, and his energy level had gradually increased. This week, however, he felt miserable, physically and emotionally.

I asked him if he could identify any factors that might have created the shift in his energy. He told me about some increased pressure at work and that he stopped doing his daily spiritual practice, something he had made a commitment to himself to maintain.

Suddenly, in the middle of our investigation, he changed the subject and began to tell me about a small drama unfolding with his neighbor.

He shared that the adjacent boundary lines with this neighbor had never been clearly defined. Recently, the neighbor took it upon himself to mark the property line with some stakes according to his own interpretation.

The neighbor’s act annoyed my client. It also re-opened a can of worms that had been closed long ago. Although reticent, my client was ready to initiate a conversation with the neighbor. He wanted to clarify the property line question.

What became strikingly curious to both of us was why he’d been willing to tolerate the unclear boundary for so many years.

I then pointed out what seemed like an interesting connection between his lousy week, stopping his spiritual practice and the property line issue with his neighbor.

I could see it in his eyes as it dawned on him that perhaps he had not clearly defined and stated the importance of his own internal boundary, in this case maintaining his spiritual practice. He unconsciously dropped something instrumental to his self-care in deference to the demands of his work.

How interesting that what was reflected in my client’s outer world was a projection of what was going on in his inner world.

His irritation with the long-standing property line issue and the neighbor’s action came to light when he discovered that he crossed his own internal boundary and began to feel undesirable consequences. He was having a hard time “staking” off his own inner boundary and became aware of it when his neighbor took the initiative to stake off his.

With this profound awareness, the property line dispute began to look like a gift. We were both awed at the way things show up in life to offer valuable lessons.

What’s happening in your outer world that might point to an opportunity to learn something about yourself?

Where are you crossing your own internal boundaries and projecting them as “problems” with the world?

Here are a few suggestions to help you clarify your own boundaries:

1. Look for the irritations in your own life. Where does it appear as if the problem lies outside of you? Take a look at what boundaries you might want to set for yourself.

2. It’s often not enough to just “set” your boundary; you need to communicate it as well. What good is having a boundary if no one knows about it?

3. Ask for help in maintaining your boundaries or your commitments to yourself. Can you enlist the support of a friend or loved one to help keep you on track?

4. Be flexible with your boundaries. Having a wall around you isn’t the goal. The intention of boundaries is to remind yourself that you deserve what’s important to you.
As the session came to a close my client knew what he needed to do, both inside and out. He was already seeing creative ways to address and resolve the conflict with his neighbor as well as reinstate the practices that kept him balanced and focused.

I could sense his relief in having the boundary lines clear after many years of tension. He went on his way feeling better and looking forward to living what he learned. Not only do good fences make good literal neighbors, they make us good neighbors within our self as well.

Experiencing Our True Nature

by Gina Lake -

Love Is a Way of Being:

Love isn't something that someone causes us to feel, but a state of being that we experience whenever we are fully present in the moment to whatever or whomever is showing up.

Love is our natural state, and we experience our natural state whenever the chattering mind is quiet or simply ignored.

This state of being is one of peace, acceptance, and love.

The only thing that can interfere with experiencing the love of our true nature is absorption in our thoughts and any feelings generated by those thoughts.

When we are lost in our mental and emotional world, we miss out on reality, on the real experience of this moment. In our mental world, thoughts about life substitute for real life.

When we drop out of these thoughts about ourselves and how our life is going, life can be experienced more purely, and when it is, love naturally flows to whatever or whomever we are experiencing.

Love is a way of being with others.

When we are attentive, curious, and interested in others, love naturally flows to them from inside us. This outward flow of love is the experience of love.

This flow of love is not dependent on who or what is in front of us, on what someone is doing, or on whether someone is being loving toward us, but on whether we are fully engaged with and accepting of that person and whatever is happening in the moment.

Love is a state of being that is activated by giving attention to something or someone.

Many of us experience an absence or lack of love because we are giving our attention to thoughts about life instead of real life.

When we give attention to our thoughts about life, we are loving our mental world, and that mental world isn't real, and it is very often a negative world, where nothing and no one is ever good enough.

When we are invested in this mental world, our conditioned beliefs, judgments, fears, desires, and expectations seem really important, and these are what cause problems in our relationships.

We think we need people to be a certain way for us to love them and be happy with them, but that just isn't true. It just seems true because we tend to choose to love (accept and give attention to) those who look and do things the way we want. Love doesn't have to be limited in this way.

Choosing to Love

We can choose to love even when others aren't meeting our desires or fitting our fantasies and expectations.  Our conditioned ideas and desires are not more important than love, unless we allow them to be, which is a recipe for difficulty in relationship.

When we can move beyond our desires, needs, expectations, fantasies and judgments, then love is possible with anyone at any time.

That doesn't mean you would choose to be in a relationship with just anyone but it is possible to experience love in relating to anyone, since love comes from being interested in, attentive to and accepting of someone, which is possible when we are not judging them or finding reasons to close our hearts to them and withdraw our interest and attention.

Love is something we have the power to experience because we have the power to give love.

When we give love, we experience it; when we withhold it, we don't.

The more we can overcome the judgments and other conditioning that cause us to withhold our love (i.e., our acceptance and attention) from others, the more we will experience love.

It is as simple as that, but not necessarily easy to put into practice.

We tend to really believe our judgments and other ideas that cause us to close our hearts to others, but we don't have to. We can say no to the judgments and other conditioning that interfere with love. When we do so, our experience of life is transformed.

Love is readily available whenever we turn away from our judgments and negative conditioning and allow ourselves to be fully engaged with and interested in the real person in front of us.

Problem Dissolved

Rewrite Your Agreement with Reality:

Wherever you go, let others experience your glow. One of the most intriguing passages in A Course in Miracles suggests that you don’t have a problem: you only think you do.

The opening lines of the Torah, as well as Genesis in the Bible, state, “God created Heaven and Earth,” and later, “And all that God created was good.” If you interpret those words literally, it’s quite clear that problems are impossible.

If God created everything and all that God created was good, bad does not exist. “But,” you say, “disease, disharmony, despair and so on all appear to exist and run rampant in our world.”

When we feel separated from our sacred center, it’s easy to believe so strongly in the separation that we explain any unpleasantness as a problem. In the world of Spirit or God, problems simply don’t exist and aren’t real.

When your spiritual connection is weak, you move away from the world of Spirit and problems come from your belief in separation. Your mind creates the illusion of separateness and your body, influenced by your ego thoughts, takes on diseases.

Our societies are the creation of our collective thoughts. They take on the same separation-sickness and then we have what we call social problems. All of the so-called problems, however, represent a spiritual deficit that can be remedied with spiritual solutions.

Think of it this way: if you change your mind, you will solve your problems.

Can you accept the idea that it’s your belief in your separation from God that creates the attitude that you label a problem?
Can you explore this idea that what you’re calling problems are all simply illusions or mistakes of your intellect?

If God is everywhere, there is no place that God is not; therefore you have God with you at all times. You may believe otherwise.

It is this belief system that creates your so-called problems.

If you can bring truth to the presence of these illusions, they will dissolve—just as you know that three plus three equals six is true, and that three plus three equals ten is untrue. By bringing truth to the presence of this arithmetic error, it simply dissolves.

So too will all of your beliefs that create “problems” in your mind dissolve when you bring the higher energy of truth to them. St. Francis of Assisi, in his famous prayer, beseeches us to change our mind to this thought: “Where there is hatred let me sow love.”

Light always dissolves darkness. Love always nullifies hate. Spirit always cancels problems.

Problems exist as beliefs of your ego mind, which is unable to conceptualize an awareness of your spiritual mind, just as dark has no concept of light.

By actually rewriting your agreement with reality, you can change your mind and send away any perceived problem.

Change your attitude toward yourself and resolve to believe in your connectedness to the higher energy of God, even in the direst of circumstances. Turn anything that seems problematic over to your higher self, trusting that the “problem” is not what is seems to be.

Rewrite your agreement about who you are and what you’re capable of achieving.

Your new agreement with reality in which you’ve blended your physical self and your personality with your spiritual God-connected self will begin to radiate a higher energy of love and light.

Wherever you go, others will experience the glow of your God consciousness and disharmony and disorder and all manner of problems simply will not flourish in your presence.

Become “an instrument of Thy peace,” as St. Francis desires in the first line of his famous prayer. Move up the ladder of human awareness from the lowest to the highest. Become a mystical being by simply changing your mind from one that created and experienced problems to one that resolves them.

How to Live In The Moment

Photobucket

by Helaine Iris
-

When people suggest that I “live in the moment” I understand the concept and can recognize the value (I read and loved Eckhart Tolle’s “The Power Of Now”). But I secretly wonder, “How on earth do you really do that?”

Yesterday, I spent one of the last glorious days of summer lazing on the beach with a dear friend. We were basking in the final rays of the afternoon sun when the conversation turned to his single status.

He shared with me that an old girlfriend, currently married was potentially about to be single again. Knowing he had a “thing” for this woman in the past, and a desire to be in a relationship now, I was all over the “potential” that they may yet end up together.

Sensing his overt lack of enthusiasm over my colorfully painted vision of his future, I asked him what was up; to which he replied, “I don’t live in the past or the future, I live in the moment”.

“Live in the moment? What the heck does that mean? How do you do THAT?” I retorted, with plenty of excitement in my voice.

He told me he didn’t know how he did it, he just did. As afternoon faded into evening his response stayed with me. I began wondering why I so automatically move out of the present and into the future. I put myself in his shoes and imagined how I might deal with the same situation.

I discovered that I leave the present and go into the future to protect myself. If I run all the possible scenarios through my mind, good or bad, and “prepare” myself for what might be, I figure, fore warned is fore armed? Right? Well, maybe not.

Now, let this be said, I’m not saying planning’s a bad thing, or dreaming for that matter. But it doesn’t escape my notice that a lot of the future “projecting” I do isn’t peaceful.

My teacher and friend Byron Katie is famous for saying “if you want fear on purpose, get a future, if you want shame, get a past.

How are you doing with staying in the present moment? Here are some tips I’ve learned that help me stay a bit longer in the present moment.

Tips for Living in the Moment
1. When you find yourself imagining fearful scenarios ask yourself, “Is this the only possibility?” Search for what else could be true, rather than what you fear.

2. Remind yourself that worrying about the future or regretting the past isn’t going to change what has or is going to happen.

3. Do you have a fundamental trust that whatever happens you’re going to be ok? Can you find times from your past that serve as evidence that this is true? If so, draw on that experience.

4. Are your basic needs met, does your life work? Often we move into the future because we think it will be better there. Consider addressing what ever is not in balance so it will become desirable to be more in the now.

5. Practice the power of the present. Focus on something positive or beautiful right here and now and breathe it in. Let yourself fully feel it.

6. Then, be willing to let go of that too and move on to the next moment.
After our invigorating conversation my friend and I walked to the waters edge to experience the ocean. We both gasped when the chill of the water hit our bare feet.

We laughed and looked at each other and both expressed the joy of being able to share the moment.

It’s YOUR life…imagine the possibilities!

Moving into Divine Purpose

Photobucket

by Mashubi Rochell -

A new possibility has emerged for the healing of the Earth brought about by the conscious and dedicated prayer and intentions of many souls working together on multiple levels of physical and spiritual reality. With this new vibrational change, more will be possible in the way of the expansion of light.

This does not in any way diminish the enormous challenges that are present, however the presence of a stronger embodied light will allow for needed shifts in consciousness that are required in order for humanity to move forward into the new times that are ahead.

As the precious physical body of Mother Earth is now signaling on a regular basis the need to attend to the pressing concerns of this time, so will the precious bodies of all of her children embodied on the Earth also now signal on a regular basis their needs for a more balanced, loving and sustainable way of living.

As greater spiritual light infused the physical bodies of all on the Earth, what is unbalanced and not sustainable will begin to break down and come apart.

That which resonates with love, with light and with spiritual truth will be helped to flourish.

The question of what is not sustainable will vary for each person, even though there is a larger question of how to live on the Earth sustainably for the long term, which humanity needs to address collectively.

On the individual level, there are certain ways of living that simply cannot continue for souls who have been living out of balance or out of harmony with their larger Self. Only the individual can come to this understanding themselves, for this is a question related to soul's purpose.

The new levels of light present on the Earth are creating a more urgent emotional need to find meaning, balance, truth, love, and satisfaction in life.

The present economic challenges facing so many are providing the opportunity for each individual to consider what is most real, and what is most important.

The new levels of light are opening doors emotionally and spiritually for all souls.

For some this creates an awakening of the heart that can be both joyful and also devastating, as previously repressed pains come flooding to the surface. Have patience with yourself and your fellow human beings during this time, for all are awakening to new levels within themselves.

Transforming Judgment

It is most important at this time to be free of the energy of judgment, which is a residue of separated consciousness that assumes that those outside of ones self are to blame for the problems of the world, or for causing pain to ones self.

The energy of judgment is fueled by anger and helplessness and cannot be addressed from the level of the ego self.

Instead, what is needed is to simply recognize that judgment is present and pray for it to be transformed. As light opens the heart, the mind and emotions are freed from judgment and new possibilities can emerge both individually and collectively.

As more people begin to experience what is possible when consciousness is grounded in the heart, rather than the mind, then many of your world's problems which are in dire needs of a solution will begin to be solved.

Those who are attached to opinions, ideas, blame, judgment and anger will begin to see these energies for what they are, creations of the ego and separated consciousness, which were necessary in times past for protection of the smaller self.

Now something new is possible on planet Earth, a way of living from the larger Self which is One with God and with All That Is.

This way is available to all freely to those who choose it.

God always allows free will and so there will be those who choose to not enter the new energy that is manifesting. That is their choice and their paths will be guided according to their soul's purpose, in harmony with God's will.

Although there is no way to understand with the mind the path of another soul, through divine love, compassion and forgiveness you can free yourself from the energies of blame, anger and judgment which create attachment and which set into motion karmic forces which add to the burdens in the world.

Healing and Purification

There are some intense emotional energies of anger, blame or outrage that you may wish to release, but which may not be possible to let go of. In this situation, there is a healing and purification process happening which needs patient and loving attention.

Through prayer and the intention to forgive, the storms of emotional pain will rise up and be felt, and will eventually pass.

By choosing to give your emotions to God, rather than engaging in and acting out negativity, you are making a huge impact in the emotional and energetic matrix of the Earth. When one person chooses light, this impacts the larger collective consciousness of which all of humanity is a part.

The more people who choose light, the stronger the energetic field of light on the Earth becomes.

Though the greater light also accelerates the process of purification which can be intense, the light will clear these energies, thus freeing the individuals to move into their divine soul's blueprint and to manifest their spiritual purpose on the Earth.

Each soul has a divine purpose that is intended to bring greater light to the world.

Your soul's purpose is waiting for you at this time, ready to manifest with greater strength when you are ready.

Embrace the gifts that God has given you to share with the world, for you are unique in all of creation, and were created to give something special to the world at this time. With all love and blessings, Amen.

Messages from Your Soul

Photobucket

by Heather Mullin
-

Have you ever sat with the fluid complexity of your thoughts and feelings, witnessing each one and accepting each one as it arises, and then watching it as it dissolves into the next moment and the next?

Have you ever acknowledged what your mind and your heart are expressing in this moment and inquired into what they might be saying to you?

This is the simple practice I would like to recommend to you, as a way of coming home to yourself in order to step boldly out into life in new authentic, joyful and creative ways.

Many of us move through our lives navigated by a series of unconscious thought and feeling belief patterns. These belief patterns often keep us stuck in a repetition of old behaviors that do not serve us any more.

We hold these thoughts and feelings in our bodies, minds and spirits and live them out unquestioningly and unconsciously as if they were our ‘truth’.

They are actually very often ‘truths’ that have been passed down to us by our parents and other significant adults in our lives, and the rules and norms of our culture, as well as our own childlike attempts to interpret our experiences as we were growing up.

An example of one of my own unconscious belief patterns that I’ve become conscious of recently in the form of a thought is this: relationships always eventually end, and I have no control over their ending.

There is a kind of resigned sadness associated with this thought. I can see that this unconscious belief may be the result of spending my childhood moving from place to place. And so, as an adult, I have been through a series of monogamous relationships, have very few friends left from my childhood, and have often found the best friends I’ve made as an adult have been people who eventually move away.

There is a temporal element to my relationships that might not be there had I not interpreted my experiences in such a way as a child.

How do we move beyond the unconscious belief patterns that limit us and into the freedom of authentic, joyful, creative living?

We do so by sitting and listening to the voices within us that speak these ‘truths’, hearing them, witnessing them, and accepting them as they arise and then letting them go as they dissolve into the next moment.

In doing so, we become conscious of the belief patterns we carry, and our consciousness gives us the capacity to choose other thoughts and feelings that are more in tune with the here and now.

Each belief pattern that emerges is actually a message from your soul speaking its truth in profound ways when given the space to be heard

I have no control over the ending of relationships becomes a deep cry for the security of continuity and commitment in relationship, a desire for roots, for community, for belonging, as well as a need for me to become a more active force in my world – so that my will and my power are more present in the relationships I form – rather than simply allowing the flow of events to take over and guide my relational life.

As I become conscious of what it is my soul longs for, I am freed up from the compulsion to act out of my own sense of ‘lack’ and given the grace to begin to change each pattern as it arises.

As I sit with myself, and hear the messages my soul brings me, my compassion grows and I can forgive myself every mistake in this journey of life.

As I become more conscious of the patterns impressed upon my being from early childhood, I am freed up to risk choosing new ways of living out my ‘truths’.

As I come home to myself in the space I give to hearing what my soul might be trying to say, I am empowered to act creatively and live more joyfully and authentically.

As I begin to recognize my own unconscious drives and desires, I am inspired to look with greater compassion upon those I come into contact with.

As I listen to the messages of my soul, I experience integration and in time become more whole.

Living from Within

by Dorothy M Neddermeyer PhD -

Western society focuses on managing life based on education, logic, scientifically proven ideals, and history. Thus, children are conditioned, indoctrinated and instructed to manage life from that which is prescribed by scientific ideology and history.

The operative word, ‘from without,’ establishes a mind-set of being ‘without.’ Living life from within establishes a mind-set of going within, connecting to the core of your Being, and from this place activating the power within to reach your potential and goals in every area of your life.

What is within is greater than anything that is in the surroundings.

What is within is greater than any circumstance in one’s life. What is within is greater than one’s history.

One’s history does not decide one’s destiny unless one decides it does.

Living from within is about defining and embracing one’s true identity and letting go of fears and judgments of oneself and others.

You need to recognize and express your Divine love and pure creative energy from Creation, which flows through your Being as you let go of frustration, confusion, doubt, and indecision.

Determine and manifest your heart’s desires as you free yourself from controlling and suppressive ideas, conditions and indoctrinations.

Living from within is about connecting to the wave of the Breath of Life within Creation, an inherent birthright of your Being, which has become disconnected due to conditioning, indoctrination and instruction.

You came into this life with a purpose and a mission to discover what you need to re-remember, to re-discover and create joy of life – Joie de vivre.

When you are disconnected from your Breath of Life (within), your focus moves into expressions and rhythms of disharmony from without…such as fear, judgment, worry, thoughts of lack, jealousy, etc.

To reverse the trend of disconnection you need to:
• Let go of fear.
• Trust your power within.
• Let go of judgment – discern what is in alignment with who you truly are.
• Empower yourself as you empower others, honoring your unique self and the uniqueness of others.
• Love yourself and others as you acknowledge and express your magnificence within and the magnificence within others.
In this reconnection to yourself within, who you truly are, your life is in balance.

Pause now.

Remember:  What is within you is greater than anything that is in your surroundings. What is within you is greater than the circumstance of your life history. What is within you is greater than that which is without.

Going within is the key to connecting with who you truly are.

An Unconditional Yes to Victory

by David Richo, PhD
-

The word yes sums up spirituality and sanity.

An unconditional yes to what is frees us from the self-imposed suffering that results when we fear facing the givens of life.

Yes is born of trust and heals fear.

This is because we are acknowledging that whatever happens to us is part of our story and useful on our path.

Our yes to the conditions of existence means getting on with life rather than being caught up in dispute and in attempts to gain control of how things play out.

When things change and end, we become trusting of the cycles of life as steps to evolutionary growth. Yes alleviates our suffering by freeing us from clinging to anything at all.

When things do not go according to our plans, we stretch our potential for trusting a power beyond our ego. Our ego’s futile and ferocious attempts to make everything come out its own way give way to letting the chips fall where they may.

Yes frees us from the suffering caused by the compulsion to be in charge.

When things are not fair, we evoke our potential to act fairly no matter what.

This means trusting a power beyond our ego, with all its insistence on retaliation and its petulant demands for equity.

A yes to this third given frees us from the suffering that happens when we are caught up in getting back at people and when we hold grudges.

When pain enters our life, we activate our potential for facing it without complaint and we gain compassion for others who also suffer.

A yes to this fourth given frees us from the suffering that comes from useless protest.

When people are not loyal or loving toward us, we enliven our potential for unconditional love. A yes frees us from the suffering caused by our need to hurt or reject those who have disappointed us.

Fear is a no to what is.

To fear the givens is to be afraid of life, since they are its components.

Fear prevents us from experiencing life fully and living in the moment by creating avoidance and attraction. We avoid what is unpleasant and we grasp at whatever makes us feel good. The Buddhist tradition encourages us to take a middle path.

The chart below shows the work that installs us in this “golden mean,” as the ancient Romans called it.

The Givens:

  • Things change and end.
  • Things don’t always go according to plan.
  • Things are not always fair.
  • Pain is part of life.
  • People are not loving and loyal all the time.
Each of these conditions of existence equips us with a handy skill. Since it is a given that people leave us, it becomes a given that we will be alone, so it is wise to plan for that by becoming comfortable being by ourselves right now.

Since it is a given that things do not always go according to plan, it is a given that we will be disappointed, so it is wise to become comfortable with fewer expectations.

Since it is a given that things are not always fair, it is a given that we will occasionally feel cheated, so it is wise to become comfortable with grieving losses, with working for justice, and with letting go of the urge to retaliate.

Since it is a given that pain is part of life, it is a given that we will do best to become comfortable with bearing it and growing because of it.

Since it is a given that people are not always loyal and loving, it is wise to let go of censure and become committed to loving-kindness no matter how others may treat us.

Yes to life’s givens thus combines defenselessness with resourcefulness.

Yes means we are open to the events that befall us, defenseless in the face of them. At the same time, we are not bowled over by what happens to us.

We are resourceful in dealing with them; we do all we can to handle the givens we face. Then we let the chips fall where they may. Soon we pick them up one by one and place our bets again.

There is a vitality in us, a sparkle—a bonfire, actually—that cannot be extinguished by any tragedy.

Something in us, an urge toward wholeness, a passion for evolving, makes us go on, start over, not give up, not give in.

To accept the things we cannot change does not mean that we roll over but that we roll on. Openness and creative resourcefulness happen synchronously each time we are confronted with one of the givens. Some people write their best poems when they suffer.

The practice of an unconditional yes is the heart of the ancient spiritual tradition of Taoism. Wu wei is a Taoist term meaning to go with the flow of things as they are.

This reduces the friction and stress that arise when we resist reality as it wants to happen. In my view, the ancient spiritual teachings and practices of Taoism form a technology of cultivating an unconditional yes to life’s givens.

The Taoist teacher Han Hung wrote,
“The biggest risk is to trust that these conditions are all that we need to be ourselves.”
This is a profound realization of the connection between our unconditional yes and our trust that the conditions of existence are precisely what we need for personal growth and fulfillment.

The givens of life show us who we really are and help us be the best we can be:
• Only in changes and endings do we find out how we hold on or let go.

• Only in failed plans do we find out about a larger plan afoot that has our best interests at heart, trusting the heartfulness of the universe and discovering our spiritual potential.

• Only when things are not fair do we find our dark side, which seeks retaliation, or our kindly side, which looks for restoration and lets go if it cannot happen.

• Only when we suffer do we find our courage and our depth and learn compassion for others’ suffering.

• Only when others are disloyal and unloving do we find out if we can really love unconditionally.
An unconditional yes is a spiritual victory.

There are spiritual practices that help us reach it. These practices make it easier to live with our givens instead of against them.

A useful practice is to see all the events of our lives and all the conditions we meet up with as dharmas, doors into enlightenment, lessons in humanity, paths to virtue.

Each of the givens offers a spiritual challenge. When things change or end, we can grieve and let go rather than shake our fist at heaven.

When things do not go according to plan, we can open to new possibilities, some from destiny, some from karma.

When things prove unfair, we can work for justice and not retaliate against others but focus on their transformation.

When suffering comes our way, we can experience it without protest or blame or the demand that we be exempted.

When others are not loving or loyal, we can practice loving-kindness. In the face of any given we say yes mindfully, that is, without the mind-sets of ego: fear, judgment, control and attachment to an outcome.

Loving-kindness is the widest unconditional yes because it is a love that includes the whole universe. Then unconditional love as a remedy for fear of others and all the mindsets of ego.

The practice of loving-kindness presupposes that we are all interconnected and helps make that fact conscious and real in the moment.

This is the culmination of acceptance: love that is unbounded and abounding.

Shedding 3D Illusions

by DL Zeta -

Many of you are currently in a "waiting" space. You are observing the changes taking place around you and waiting for the next step to open before you.

This next step is often perceived as a great opening in human consciousness where love, world peace and blessings flow in abundance. This is occurring, but some aspects of the New Earth are still not widely understood.

The next step may not be exactly as you have perceived it, and this is why there is a sense of waiting and uncertainty.

Remember, it’s impossible to enter a new space by continuing to do the same things. Only the new can activate the new.

To step into the new, you must become the new.

You must bring your energy into alignment with the New Earth.

To take this step of activating energies still latent within your consciousness, it is necessary to look closely at ways in which you are still habitually entrenched in old ways of being.

Fifth-dimensional consciousness is accessible within your present moment. If you hold beliefs or attitudes that say otherwise, it’s time to examine ways you’re blocking your access to these energies.

The Nature of the Karmic Wheel

A belief that binds many into third-dimensional consciousness has to do with karma. Many still habitually see themselves as needing to satisfy karma, whether it is from this life or another.

This is similar to the perennial student who has difficulty leaving the university setting. The final stage of "graduation" requires you to take on a new level of self-responsibility that allows you to move beyond cause-and-effect.

What you think of as the "karmic wheel" is simply a set of universal understandings set forth as the curriculum of Earth school.

Each being that incarnates to Earth arrives with the goal of furthering their understandings and gaining needed insights and experience. At some point after many, many incarnations, you complete these basic understandings determined by the same laws that govern the universe.

The Challenge of Stepping off the Karmic Wheel

You may find yourself feeling some resistance at this point. You may be saying "it's not that easy to step off the karmic wheel." Deep down, you may feel you don't deserve to live free from the duties of preconceived "lesson plans."

This is not unlike the person graduating college who must now learn to design their own curriculum and lesson plans without the input of their team of advisors.

It’s not that you will no longer undertake new areas of growth and exploration, but that you will now consciously choose and design these areas. This requires you to take 100% responsibility for every aspect of your existence.

This is what life is like beyond the confines of the karmic wheel. You step into the identity of “captain of your own ship.” From this point of empowerment, there is no longer any illusion of blame or victimhood.

As an empowered individual, you meet each new challenge in your life with an open heart and mind, ready to embrace new levels of understanding.

From this perspective, you are no longer a burden on those around you. Instead, you lift others up with the gift of your life working.

Your Karmic Debts Are Paid

Many old souls have already paid the price of admission to this new time. You have paid your karmic debts. You have completed all homework and lesson plans.

You have examined yourselves repeatedly, taking great care to connect with your guidance and putting into place all that has been asked of you. There is nothing keeping you from entering the fifth dimension.

Understand, you cannot be forced to step past karma. In a free-will zone, you are free to grow through suffering and exist in state of limitation.

This is a choice.

What we're telling you is that you are free to enter a place of fifth-dimensional consciousness and step into a new dimension within your own consciousness.

We offer here a “snapshot” of a soul that has satisfied karmic lessons:

  • This soul has practiced the ethic of good stewardship on the Earth, honoring and nurturing all kingdoms of life on the planet.
  • They have willingly assisted those who walk two steps behind them, opening doors and mapping every frontier they encounter that others may walk more freely there.
  •  They have come into the understanding that what they do to another, they do to themselves;
  • they have learned to see through the illusion, to joyfully greet all circumstances in their life as learning experiences and to readily transform all energies they encounter with unconditional love.
  • They have set their highest intentions, cultivated high-vibrational energies within and radiated the light of spirit to all they encounter.
If this is the path you have followed, we congratulate you for your efforts. You may now receive your diploma and step off the karmic wheel.

If you still have some areas to complete, you can use the above description as a blueprint for bringing about this completion. You may also find it helpful to undertake a journey of self-examination to identify areas of your life you need to bring into sharper focus.

The Journey of Self-Examination

In order to step fully into this new dimension, you will need to examine every habit, every remaining attitude and belief that binds you into the third dimension, tethering you to the karmic wheel.

1. Examine the vibration of what you put into your body.
Do you put low-vibrational packaged, toxic, irradiated and energetically dead foods into your body?

Drugs, alcohol and pharmaceuticals can also contribute to a low-vibrational existence.
2. Examine your habits.
Look at what you do on a daily basis. Are your habits lifting you higher, leading you to a time of greater love and peace or are they leading you into more of the same limiting energies you have experienced over and over?
3. Examine your emotions.
  •  Do you blame others for any aspect of your existence?
  • Are you engaging in self-pity and feeling yourself a victim of life?
  • Are there any ways in which you burden others by refusing to take complete responsibility for yourself?
  • Do you often experience negative emotions and feel the world is against you?
If so, it is time to go back to square one and study the Law of Attraction and other universal laws. This is the path to understanding how the universe truly works.
4. Examine your vision for your life.
  • Is it limited in any way?
  • Do you receive visions that you write off as "undo-able"?
  • What do you see for yourself?
  • What is your current identity?
  • Is it in need of an update?
5. Examine any ways in which you limit who you can be and what you can do.
As you examine and address each of these areas, you are able to snip any strings that still hold you into third-dimensional consciousness.

Once this is done, you are free to step into the next version of yourself, the "you" who is free of karmic debt and experiencing the vastly expanded energies and flowing blessings of the New Earth.

Immersing Your Spirit in Life

by Ann Albers -

All of life is a spiritual practice:

So many of you worry about making time for your 'spiritual' practices and yet we would contend that every dish you wash, every breath you breathe, and indeed every word that you utter is part of a spiritual practice.

Life itself is a spiritual practice, and you can practice bringing the truth of your spirit into each and every word and deed, each and every day.

To immerse your spirit in life, is to imbue your life with loving kindness, starting with yourselves first, then reaching outwards to others as your cup runneth over.

The question is not whether or not you are all spiritual - for indeed as you have heard many times, you are all spirits in bodies - but rather what level of spiritual awareness you bring to the every day activities in your life.

While it is beautiful to meditate and sing sacred songs, we would encourage you to focus on speaking to one another more kindly, for a kind word is one of the holiest songs upon your earth.

While doing good for those who have less is certainly a most beautiful way to express your love, don't forget to take care of your own basic needs as well.

For what good does it do if you achieve these so-called external spiritual acts without finding the peace and love of God within your own hearts?

Give from what is truly inside of you, and fill your own cup first so that it can authentically spill over into the world.

Nothing you do is without purpose.

Every thought, every word, and every deep ripples out into the universe, some having greater effect than others.

You can make anything you do a spiritual practice if you bring love to the situation. You can bring love into your chores.

You can bring love into your conversations and you can even bring love into situations in which you might otherwise judge yourselves.

It would be a spiritual practice for some of you to look in the mirror and love yourselves unconditionally.

Dear ones, God walks with you in each and very moment of each and every day for indeed God is the force of love and life that breathes life into you.

You cannot be without God.

You are made of the very breath of God. You cannot be anything but spiritual. So instead of worrying whether or not you have time for your spiritual practices, remember to make life a spiritual practice.

Bring love into your thoughts, your words and your deeds. Love yourselves without condition and from this feeling of fullness and joy, then you can authentically share your gifts, talents and resources with the world.

Transforming the World

Photobucket

by Mashubi Rochell -

You are a magnificent and divinely inspired creation of God. You are here on the Earth during this very tumultuous time in history for a sacred purpose.

Each soul that is here now and each soul arriving to the Earth now, is here to participate in the momentous transformation process that is happening on the Earth. You are here not by accident, but by design.

You have something unique and precious to contribute to the world and now is the time for all that you are to unfold and be fulfilled.

Transformation Process

This transformation process on the Earth is more than simply earth changes and environmental shifts. Planet Earth is a living being that has patiently waited in her evolution for this monument in time, when the spiritual doorways of light would begin to open and allow her to expand and grow into a new level of Herself.

This spiritual shift has deep significance for all of life, and many billions of souls have gathered to be present physically during this time, to participate in and experience this shift.

For all souls and for you in particular who are guided by your heart to read this message, there is profound and miraculous healing possible now in your life.

All that has been a heavy burden in your heart, all that has limited you and kept you separate from God and from your true inner self, is now able to be fully and completely released and transformed.

This is the reason so many souls are here now, to be transformed and moved forward into a new level of themselves.

Purification

At this time on the Earth, you are seeing the beginnings of an intense process of purification. All that has been out of harmony and separated from God's sacredness and love, is being exposed and seen.

The process of witnessing and seeing such negativity as it is being released is painful for all hearts to bear. All hearts who are open and filled with God's love cry out at the terrible injustices and atrocities being manifest on the world stage.

The way through this time of purification is not to close your heart to avoid feeling the pain nor is it to join with the negative energies by becoming angry, despairing or bitter.

Rather, the way through lies in your deepest heart, which knows purity, innocence and love. The way through is to surrender yourself to God's love, and to open your heart more.

Pray to love more, to forgive more, to release your own self from resentment, bitterness and hatred. Pray for greater faith and a door shall open unto you.

When your heart and your consciousness become aligned with God's love, light and truth, then you are no longer vulnerable to the negative energies of fear, despair and cynicism.

Become a Light to Others

You become a light to others and your presence begins to have a positive effect on others around you.

Even the Earth herself benefits from your physical presence, for when you align with God's love and light, then you become a divine conduit for God's light to enter the Earth more completely, assisting her in her own transformation process.

One day all of physically embodied life will come to know itself as One with the divine. People will no longer feel themselves as separate and alone.

Even the animals will have a different relationship with each other, with people, and with the Earth, when separated consciousness has dissolved and the doorways of God's light have awakened humanity.

You have before you a magnificent responsibility.

Each thought you think, each word you speak and each action you take has an impact on the larger web of life that you are connected with.

At this time when so much negativity is being expressed in the world, your choice to hold a consciousness of love, peace, hope and faith makes a significant contribution to the network of light that is being created on the Earth.

There is much suffering happening in the world and love and light are needed. Your consciousness, your awareness, and your thoughts all impact this web of light.

Your love strengthens others, and helps to hold and comfort those who are suffering. Your prayers make a huge impact, much larger than you realize, and so we encourage all who feel an abundance of God's love in their hearts to pray for those in need.

The way through this time of purification is God's love.

Though many cannot yet feel this love, it is present and growing on the Earth. Your choice to love transforms the world, and we give great thanks for your participation in this sacred time.
